Nice daytime parking for 10 designated motor homes. As most places along this coast, no sleeping, cooking or camping.

  • 4/5

Alles al vermeld door anderen wat relevant is. Voor de liefhebbers is ‘under the pier’ echt de moeite waard!

  • 4/5

East Sussex council day time parking - 10 allocated motorhome spaces. Beyond this car park at the end is a privately owned Eastern Farm car park where you can pay £15 for 24 hrs and there is nothing on the signage about no overnight sleeping.

  • 5/5

Stayed for the day 4 places for motorhomes not bad carpark.

  • 4/5

You cannot park on the 10 designated spots overnight. You have to go through the car park to the gravel car park Easton Farm CP it £15 24hrs Apr-Sept. Downside for us is no dogs on beach Apr-Sept

There are ten dedicated motorhome spaces facing the model yacht lake. The parking machine takes cash or Ring-Go app. Spaces here also slope towards the lake area. There was no building work going on here today. No sign of it

Out of season, fine. Not quite as pleasant on a busy bank holiday weekend! If you get one of the spaces, it's a decent result.

  • 3/5

Warning: there is some building work going on in the car park as of 16 mar 2023. It’s temporary but they have huge cranes and safety barriers in place. They are working overnight. I went but left due to the noise. Given the safety barriers it’s a few weeks work. Do your research before going.

Massive car park (past main car park) £3 for 24 hours off season. We were the only ones there! Easy walk into town & right next to the beach. Beautiful place for walks or runs along the beach. Perfect location for visiting Southwold.

As someone else wrote go through the first car park into another gravel car park where you can overnight for £3 (October), £15 peak. The car park continues up through an open gate where you can park with amazing sea views

Best park place is as willynilly said. Had difficulty paying - downloaded pop pay app on old version iPhone. Parked level by the sea wall with views of Southwold and the coast (inland slightly rough though). Toilets at the pier and drinking water tap outside the restaurant on the pier. This park place should have its own listing - would give it 5 stars.

We left immediately! It has no sea view, plus warden issuing tickets. We went next door to the gravel car park and paid for 24 hours (£15) and stayed at the top of the car park with a sea view!!!! We were the ONLY van there at 10pm, quiet, beautiful, legal (but be very very careful, IMPORTANT YOU MUST get a ticket IMMEDIATELY within 10 minutes or they send a £100 ANPR ticket by post. Otherwise 5*

Plenty of space, flat, quiet apart from the sound of the sea. This is a better option than the seafront which is not flat and where there are loads of signs saying no sleeping overnight. Joggers in morning and then it gets busy. Easy walk from here to pubs, shops etc. Loads of great food shops in the town. 1mile away at the harbour is a fresh fishmonger and fish/chips/lobster roll place. Superb!

Brilliant for a day or evening stop but there's no overnight camping and the toilets were locked when we turned up at 20:00.

  • 4/5

Well prepared parking spaces for all Motorhome sizes. We stayed 1 night and paid £4.20 for 24 hours on the app. Good location to explore Southwold. Able to empty chem toilet in the porta loo toilets near the car park entrance. Very quiet and no issues. We can recommend Marks fish and chip shop too!

Stayed here 26/09/20 for one night with no problems - a few other vans in the car park too. We paid for 24hr parking when we arrived on Saturday but the parking sign does have no camping’ in the small print.

  • 2/5

Sign details contraventions. Number 20 states the use of a vehicle for sleeping, camping or cooking as a contravention.

  • 5/5

The sign has very recently been changed, instead of campers not being welcome overnight, they now have a £6 charge for campers within any section of a 24 hour period, so not free 6pm-8am, but you are able to stay for £6

  • 5/5

Stayed overnight on Saturday with no problems - very peaceful. At 8am we paid £6.00 for all day parking - excellent!

  • 2/5

Despite the motorhome spaces it has No overnight Camping sign and lusting in the penalties by the pay & display as does every carpark in the town sadly ...they even had yellow temporary no issues overnight signs along the street bays ... seems the town doesn’t want any campers except on the one campsite
