Small, intimate campsite in nature yet just outside of the small historic town of Penela with all its amenities. The facilities include bathrooms, bar and swimming pool all of which are new this year! Super friendly staff are always available to answer any questions. The perfect place to relax and distress from the fast pace of modern life. It’s called Uxa Paraíso, the signs will guide you on the last km from the fire station of Penela.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Julien le propriétaire des lieux. Le site est très bien entretenu. Une piscine avec une vue magnifique et la possibilité de boire un verre au bar. Sanitaires propres. De magnifiques hébergements atypiques.. on a craqué ?

Great vibe and lovely people, cool pool and great view from the bar. However: this is a place in the mountains with a difficult access road. The spots on the campsite are also quite tricky to get in and out, and you need leveling gear for sure. This is, contrary to the entry here, not a farmstay, it’s a purpose-build campsite with a couple of goats and the neighbors have a vineyard. The camper spots are quite far from the toilets, you need to go along some steep and small stairs in the dirt. Especially at night or in the evening, this is quite the hike and only partially lid. We left early because of all this, but it’s also a very tranquil place that other people might like a lot.

Wir hatten hier eine wunderschöne Zeit. Kleiner Öko-Campingplatz mit besonderem Flair in den Bergen. Coole Atmosphäre, die Besitzer*innen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber, warmes Wasser vorhanden. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder :-)

Liebevoll angelegter, kleiner und ruhiger Platz. Anfahrt über Wald-/Wirtschaftsweg. Wir haben 12€ für 2 Erwachsene im Van gezahlt. Outdoorküche mit Induktionsplatten ist ein Plus. Sanitär noch recht neu (Container), Sauberkeit ok - Die Rezeption/Theke findet man übrigens im Gemeinschaftsbereich beim Pool. Es gibt Kalt- und Heißgetränke und ein Frühstücksbuffet. Pool wirkte nicht beheizt.

Heerlijke rustige nacht gehad. De weg naar de camping toe is onverhard en met momenten smal maar met onze camper (6m lang) ging het prima. Camping met losse plekken voor de camper achterin. Goede faciliteiten, warme douche en nette toiletten. In de zomer een zwembad en bar, in low season gesloten. Perfect om uit te rusten.

Little paradise in the middle of nature, really nice staff and owner. Great place to wind down and relax. The facilities are clean, there's a kitchen and a chill out area where you can sit down and talk to the staff and/or other campers. Thanks for a great time, we'll be back!

Wirklich ein schöner Ort. Mit Ziegen und Hühnern und einem Pool, der eigentlich per Solar etwas geheizt sein sollte. Das war leider nicht so und so sauber war er leider auch nicht. Und da wir im November dort waren war die Sonne schnell verschwunden. Aber im Sommer ist es bestimmt super schön!!

Een heerlijke plek om op te laden. Midden in de natuur en op loopafstand van het dorpje Penela. De weg er naartoe was semi onverhard en een klein avontuur op zich. Van tijd tot tijd ook een beetje steil. Dit is geen standaard plek voor alle campers maar meer een plek voor buscampers met mensen die een liefde hebben voor minimalisme en de natuur

Tout ce qu'on attend d'un camping, en beaucoup mieux !! Endroit magique en pleine nature et sous la fraîcheur des eucalyptus. Julien est un chic type qui a créé cette terre d'accueil unique en son genre. Une formidable expérience à recommander absolument !

Toller Platz, waren 2 Nächte dort, mit unserem CamperVan (5,50m) kein Problem. Viel größer sollte er aber nicht sein. Sehr freundlicher Umgang, tolle Tips von Julian. Sehr empfehlenswert für Naturliebhaber.

Na een stuk onverharde weg werden wij hartelijk ontvangen door het personeel van deze kleine sfeervolle camping op een top locatie. Bij aankomst kregen we een uitgebreide uitleg over de voorzieningen. De bar is zelfbediening. ‘s Ochtends een simpel maar goed ontbijt mogelijk voor €4 per persoon. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn goed en schoon, alleen niet in groten getale aanwezig. Normaal gesproken een gemêleerd gezelschap, wegens COVID momenteel veel Portugese gezinnen. De gezellige sfeer wordt versterkt door de kippen en geiten :)

Beautiful place to stay. The views are stunning, the pool is really nice and the staff is really friendly. Bathroom are clean and with good showers. Do not recommend with a big camper due to steep entrance, but for a campervan up to 6m. it should work.

En voyant le lieu, on a tout de suite décider de rester plus longtemps. L'emplacement est de ce camping est absolument fantastique. On est en pleine nature ! Les sanitaires sont hyper propres. La piscine permet de profiter d'une vue spectaculaire. C'est un lieu où l'on peut se reposer même avec des enfants ! Bref, j'ai envie d'y retourner :-)

Das Navi führte uns über abenteuerliche Schotterstraßen zu diesem idyllischen Fleckchen mit erfrischendem Infinity Pool mitten im Grünen; Julien ist sehr nett & hilfsbereit; terrassenförmiges Gelände mit Campingmöglichkeiten auf recht ebenem Rasen; keine Grauwasser-Entleerung möglich; abends kann man sich an Glühwürmchen erfreuen; Einschlafen mit dem Zirpen der Grillen; 12,00 €/Nacht ohne Strom

So ein toller Platz! Gefühlt ist man im nirgendwo und mitten in der Natur. Sehr nett und freundlich. Sollte man nicht auslassen ☺️

Wunderschöner und sehr gepflegtes Areal! Julien ist sehr freundlich. Wir standen hier mit zwei Vans und haben die Natur absolut genossen. :) Die absolute Krönung ist der Infinity Pool mit Blick auf den Wald! Jederzeit wieder.

Lovely place with a unique style of 60/70s campervans as chalets. Host Julien has set up his uxa paraiso and cares for his goats :) Easy to chat with other guests in the common area and take a rest with beautiful views. We took a hike to the village of Penele (45 min) and enjoyed local culture (beer at 70 cents). Only difficulty are some muddy dirt trails due to heavy rain.

Não sou muito de parques de campismo, mas este vale bem a pena. O dono é muito simpático e prestável e o sítio é realmente um paraíso, limpo e com todas as condições. A piscina é aquecida e, embora pequena, é o suficiente. As crianças adoraram dar figos às cabras! O único senão é não ter local próprio para despejar as águas e termos de o fazer com baldes.

Very cozy park, excellent views and with all services. Sympathy reigns in all employees. Park distributed by terraces which can make maneuvering in larger motorhomes difficult. ideal park for campervans. The final part of the path that takes us to the park is on dirt, with a final climb that may be impossible for weaker motorhomes or with little traction.

Lugar tranquilo y relajante, pero al,go limitado para algo más allá de una Camper. Si vas con una autocaravana, llama antes. El acceso mejor desde el parque de bomberos, pero aún así, hay sitios en el camino que con lluvia, dudo que sin tracción 4x4 la suba una autocaravana.

We stayed for two nights and would have stayed longer if we weren't limited in time. Wonderful and relaxing place, a pool with a great view and very clean facilities. The kitchen has everything you need (even a fridge) and we did a trip to Fragas de sao simao and did a little hike around there / went into the water which was only 30 minutes by car, as well as a little hike around the campsite itself. There was also a huge motorhome that managed it's way over the bumpy street.

Amazing place immersed in nature with beautiful views, yet only a 30min walk to the historic village of Penela. Lovely pool, super friendly staff, great showers, and a kitchen with everything you’d need for cooking. We stayed in our caravan and paid 14/ night with electricity. We stayed wayyy longer than we planned originally because it was so peaceful, completely surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

Increible lugar para desconectarse del mundo, uno de mis preferidos. Nos quedamos cuatro noches pero nos hubiéramos quedado más si no fuera porque hay que seguir viajando. Un poco difícil los últimos 200 m especialmente si llevas una caravana como nosotros. Por suerte Julien vino a nuestro rescate.

Can’t recommend enough. Julien the owner has set up a great glamping site which also has space for campervans. €12 for two people and a campervan with all facilities included. As mentioned, new showers and toilets with good hot water. Very beautiful site with a bar, restaurant and pool. You won’t regret coming here!

21.02.2020. Endroit idéal, très beau et bien aménagé. À savoir avant de venir : pas de vidange eaux grises, eaux noires dans les WC. Dommage de ne pas avoir pu rester plus. Seul bémol : l'accès. Il faut aller jusqu'à Penela et à partir de la caserne des pompiers c'est fléché. Une rampe raide vers la fin mais ça passe (CC 7m). Autres accès proposés par maps mais très périlleux, je déconseille.

Schöner, ruhiger Ort im Grünen. Für wenig Geld gibt es alles, was man braucht. Im Sommer bestimmt besonders schön, mit Pool und Bar. Wir kommen wieder!

The place is excellent, very peaceful, surrounded by nature. To get there you need to travel a few hundred meters in a dirt road but it's worth it.

Super endroit en pleine nature. Tout le confort y est pour se reposer en road trip : douches et WC très propres, emplacements calmes et reposants, piscine à débordement dans un cadre fantastique, bar. 1 van 2 adultes : 16€/nuit + très bons petit déjeuners (4,80€). Bravo Julien pour ce beau projet. A recommander !

Great relaxing place against a mountain slope. Pool, restaurant and bar. Order dinner in the afternoon and start all on the same time. incl. wine € 9,50 Low price for overnight. Great chance that you staying for several days.

Endroit en pleine nature, reposant, calme, ambiance familiale.Nous sommes arrivés avec notre van sans réserver et Julien nous a trouvé un emplacement avec une superbe vue sur la montagne. Très jolie piscine à débordement avec un bar où la confiance est de mise(on se sert et on note!). Prix pour 1 van 2 adultes et 2 enfants 18€/nuit...dérisoire... Nous avons adoré !!!

Super schön, nettes Personal und eine Menge Service zum kleinen Preis! Alle Gebäude Sauber und zeitgemäß, außerdem kann man zu geringen Preisen am morgendlichen Brunch oder Abendessen teilnehmen. Es kann sinnvoll sein, sich vorab Telefonisch für das Essen anzumelden.

Einfach perfekt. Super freundlicher Besitzer. Ein großes Areal mit festen Zelten und Wohnwagen auf Plattformen an den Hang gebaut. Wunderschön zum erholen und Kraft tanken. Eine Bar mit Pool sowie saubere Sanitäranlagen gibt es auch. Ziegen und Hühner sind auch vorhanden. Preise für ein Wohnmobil inkl. Strom 14€/Nacht leckeres Frühstück für 4€/Person Zufahrt für Wohnmobile am besten von der Feuerwache In Penela, dort einfach uxa Paraiso bei Google eingeben und dann ist die Zufahrt auch für Fahrzeuge über 3m möglich. Die vorherige Nachfrage per Telefon empfiehlt sich, da die Stellplätze begrenzt sind.

Wunderbar. Es gibt einen Pool, Ziegen und Hühner und einen sehr netten Eigentümer. Die Zufahrt über MELHORADO ist geeigneter für Wohnmobile. Wunderbare Aussicht. Schattenplätze.

Séjour agréable dans ce camping à la ferme, pour une petite halte sous les giboulées. Tout est dit dans la description : lieu sympa, comme Julien le gérant, toujours disponible pour répondre aux questions. Tarif emplacement en mars 2019 : 12 €

Petite halte dans ce petit paradis avec sanitaire, piscine et bar. On devait rester une nuit au final on est resté la semaine. Logement insolite, randonnée avec vue spectaculaire. Super accueil de Julien, un français venu s'installer ici. Passer avec camping-car poids lourd de 8 m
