Swineford Picnic Area NO overnight parking. Moderate size car park suitable for half dozen vans or motorhomes, with grassy area for children to play plus a couple of picnic benches. Good spot to start walks from but surprisingly few dog walkers. No facilities.

Doggers at night...! Spent the day here and went for a lovely walk and thought I’d chance spending the night. It got very lively with doggers ahem, and as a solo female... I ended up moving. A shame as it would have been perfect otherwise...!

Good spot for a picnic. Next to a nice Bath Ales pub. Can swim in the river a short walk across the main road. Does clearly say no overnight parking however.

Does say no overnight parking or camping, but there were 2 other campers here when arrived so thought we would chance it. Peaceful place, we weren’t bothered, lots of dog walkers in the AM.

Nice and quiet spot, if you follow the footpath across the main road from the pub about 15min there is a great swimming spot just passed the bridge popular with locals

Nice and quiet! Sunny grassy spots around with walks also. I felt comfortable using my gas stove outside. A few other large campers here

Très bien pour 1 nuit et pour faire un peu de randonnée avec les enfants ou la famille cette nuit tranquille et jusque 10 heures pas de problème

Decent park up this one, quiet at night apart from a random guy who said he was there for dogging! (a watcher!). It quickly got busy in the morning though with local walkers.

Good spot to start walks from but surprisingly few dog walkers. No facilities. We enjoyed a quiet night here together with a lie in the following morning. Will definitely stop here again when passing by.
