Prima plek om voor €6,50 Galway te bezoeken. De mensen die een bekeuring hebben gekregen hebben of niet betaald of niet naar de regels van niet overnacht geluisterd. Kortom als je je aan de regels houdt is dit een perfecte uitvalsbasis om de stad te bezoeken. Vergeet het Galway City Museum niet. Erg leuk

Super Parkplatz für einen Stadtbummel in Galway - 10 Fußmatten ins Zentrum. Auch für sehr große Wohnmobile geeignet. Parkplatz mit Fahrzeugen über 2,30 m KEINESFALLS rechts beim Rausfahren abbiegen!! Brücke mit Höhenbeschränkung ohne Wendemöglichkeit.

Parking payant pour la journée (6,5€) idéal pour partir se promener dans Galway. Pensez à payer le parking, les autorités sont aux toujours dans le coin.

Auf der Rückseite gab es keine Höhenbeschränkung, mit 6,50€ und 5 Gehminuten von der Innenstadt entfernt kann man in dieser Stadt, welche keine Camper mag sehr gut stehen

Einer der wenigen Orte, an denen man mit einem Fahrzeug höher als 2m und länger als 5m entspannt in Galway parken kann. Wir hatten keine Probleme, blieben aber auch nur tagsüber. Das Parkticket gilt für 24 Stunden. 15 Minuten zu Fuß bis in die Stadt.

Attention, le dimanche, la partie basse du parking sert pour des rodéos de voitures... bruit, odeur de pneus chauds...

If you go just some meters straight there is another parking with no height limit. 6,50 for the day, not good for overnight as is all Galway. 10 min for city center

parcheggio molto grande a 10min a piedi dal centro, perfetto per visitare la città. nessun limite di altezza se si entra da dietro. A pagamento dalle 8.30 alle 18.30 (6.5€ tutto il giorno). nessun servizio disponibile.

Ergänzung zu den anderen Kommentaren: Nicht auf den Busplätzen parken! Der Busparkplatz ist kaum zu erkennen - hat mich 40€ gekostet dort zu stehen :(

Parking pratique sans commodités à 800m du centre ville. Pour les camping car, il faut suivre la direction voitures et bus. une dizaine de places. coin tranquille. payant 6,5€ de 8h30 à 18h30.

Large parking area for daytime access to Galway centre. Only 5 mins walk to town centre. €6.50 daily rate. My credit card didn’t work in parking meter so had to use coins.

Hemos aparcado hoy aquí para visitar la ciudad. Perfecto para autocaravanas grandes, entrando a la izquierda hay plazas grandes contra los muros. 6,5€ el día con cash o tarjeta. Sin limitación de altura. 10/15 minutos andando al centro. Centros comerciales alrededor para hacer la compra.

It’s quite a big parking and at the time when we arrived there were no height restrictions.

Attention! Nous avons payé 125€ d'amendes et attendu 2 heures pour que l'on nous retire les chaines. Notre ticket s'était retourné avec le vent, mais on ne peut pas discuter avec ces gens là.

Not advertised anywhere but you will get fined 40 to 60 euros for overnight parking all over Galway city thanks to an obscure bye-law : "A camper van, caravan, mobile home or vehicle otherwise used for accommodation purposes shall not be parked overnight in a public carpark within the administrative area of Galway City.". Campers beware, this is true for all Galway city !

Maximum height (2m) with limit gate at the parking entrance meaning that not ok for campervan.

A large parking lot very close to the city centre. You can buy a day ticket for 6.50€. Parking is free on mon-sat from 18.30 and on sun from 18.00. We only stopped for a short sightseeing.

It's a nice parking spot but not for overnight parking with campervans, at least for not longer than a few days. We got a fee ticket for our campervan of 60€ for overnight parking.
