Beautiful little stop over no restrictions or services just beautiful nature.
Stayed one night very quiet. We got talking to a local fisherman who said they don't like anybody lighting fires
But other than that, locals are friendly and welcoming. Beautiful sound of the birds singing.
There is a good chance that if you stop here for the night it may already be full of cars but the odd night we’ve spent here it’s been fine. Enough room for 7,8 cars so not a massive car park but lovely view. Fishing spot so sometimes overnight fishing going on.
Quiet peaceful place. Rough gravel road on entry, hard to find easy to miss. See Google maps for help. Ballyhoe is the name. Bench seating area and good space to park.
