Beautiful peaceful night with stunning views
Le premier des trois endroits près de chez moi. Ici, il y a l’espace hors de la route de la rivière pour un camping-car moyen. La tête du roi, 300 m, dans village Gunnerside, sert des plats toute la journée. Il y a des toilettes publiques sur le chemin à côté d’elle. Beaucoup de promenades et pistes de VTT dans les collines et les Prairies. Magasins les plus proches sont Reeth, 10km et supermarché Richmond, 20 km la plus proche.
The first of three locations near me. Here there is space off the river road for an average campervan. King's Head, 300m, in Gunnerside village, serves food all day. There are public toilets on the path next to it. Lots of walks and mountain bike trails in the hills and meadows. Nearest shops are Reeth, 10km and the nearest supermarket is Richmond, 20km.
Der erste von drei Standorten in meiner Nähe. Hier ist abseits der Flussstraße Platz für ein durchschnittliches Wohnmobil. King's Head, 300 m, im Dorf Gunnerside, serviert den ganzen Tag Essen. Am Weg daneben befinden sich öffentliche Toiletten. Viele Spaziergänge und Mountainbikestrecken in den Hügeln und Wiesen. Die nächsten Geschäfte sind Reeth (10 km) und der nächste Supermarkt ist Richmond (20 km).

Nice spot by the river one or two beeps in the morning from drivers but other than that it was ok for one night
Newtonrific16/08/2024Stayed for one night 16/08/24. Beautiful location, wasn't able to eat at the pub as we never made a reservation in advance. A few cars passing by on the adjacent road but wasn't disturbed as the sound of the river drowns out any traffic. A little tricky to manoeuvre onto/out of the spot, but we managed in our 5.5m vehicle.

We stayed here last weekend. A beautiful spot next to the river, but very rough and broken up to access from the road. Lots of beeping from passers by from 6am onwards, we were gone with no trace by 8am. The local pub is lovely, great food - book in advance. Public toilets up the road - 20p
ParadisePlodder08/07/2023We loved this place and stayed 2 nights. Even though it's next to the road, it's quiet and you mostly hear the babbling of the brook and birds-very peaceful. Pub food was good, but as we had not reserved a place, had to dine outside which was not a problem because of good weather. Lovely walks in the area. Ramps will help.

Beautiful green spot for 1 van next to a small river with the view of the old bridge and the village in the distance. Entrance is a bit narrow, but manageable. Lots of walking trails around. Village is 2 min walk and has a pub. Very quiet.

not a park4night spot in my opinion. very exposed and close to the village. also toilets were locked at 8:01 am on a tuesday.
