There are public toilets on the path next to it. Lots of walks and mountain bike trails in the hills and meadows. Nearest shops are Reeth, 10km and the nearest supermarket is Richmond, 20km.

We loved this place and stayed 2 nights. Even though it's next to the road, it's quiet and you mostly hear the babbling of the brook and birds-very peaceful. Pub food was good, but as we had not reserved a place, had to dine outside which was not a problem because of good weather. Lovely walks in the area. Ramps will help.
Beautiful green spot for 1 van next to a small river with the view of the old bridge and the village in the distance. Entrance is a bit narrow, but manageable. Lots of walking trails around. Village is 2 min walk and has a pub. Very quiet.
not a park4night spot in my opinion. very exposed and close to the village. also toilets were locked at 8:01 am on a tuesday.
