Beautiful, quiet and well-kept campsite. Most of the pitches are gravel; wheel chocks are only needed in some areas. The proximity to the water is simply lovely and very relaxing. The sanitary facilities are older but clean. Showers cost €1. There is a sheltered dishwashing area with both hot and cold water. We paid €74 for 2 nights for 2 adults, electricity included.
Beautiful lakeside campsite surrounded by nature. All necessary facilities available. Friendly owner welcomed us courteously. €47 for 3 people with motorhome including electricity - good value. Peaceful location with stunning natural surroundings. Highly recommended!
Nous avons dormi une nuit en van (sans électricité) et avons payé 37€ pour 2 adultes. Le propriétaire est sympathique. Seulement 4 douches pour tout le camping et celles-ci sont payantes……. (1€/7 minutes). Emplacement sympa avec vue sur le lac. Calme.
Owner is friendly, pitch ok. But, campsite is full and there are only 4 toilets for women and 4 for men and 4 showers total. By far not enough. Also we attempted to charge our e-bikes, but charging stopped because there was not sufficient electricity (charger is 4 Amp, so less than the 6 Amp that should be available). Paid 43 € for campervan and 2 adults. Really too much for the facilities available

Petit camping tranquille en semaine, au bord du lac avec des canards et des cygnes. Douche chaude de 7 min.. top chrono! Lieu plutôt sympa. Et le petit pub à côté l’est aussi.. on a manqué le match de hurling de peu.. mais l’ambiance avait l’air cool. 35 euros à 3 pour un van avec électricité.
A great campsite on the lake shore. Spacious and level pitches. All necessary amenities are available: showers (€1 for 7 minutes), a kitchen with microwaves, a vending machine, a game room (although a bit sad), a washing machine (€3 for a 20-minute quick wash for 3 kg), and a dryer (€1 for 20 minutes). The owner is incredibly friendly! Definitely worth a visit.
Wij hadden geluk bij een druk weekend dat de zeer vriendelijke eigenaar ons een plek gaf. Het was wel een noodplek, dicht bij toilet, dus niet leuk. Hij ontvangt GEEN ACSI kaart. Voor camper zonder stroom 37€. Wandeling met hond in zijstraat helaas niet naar het meer.

Accueil chaleureux dans ce camping au bord d’un lac. Tout les services sont compris, hormis la douche à 1€ les 7minutes, ce qu’un n’est pas dérangeant. 36€ en van pour 2 personnes avec électricité. À 2 minutes à pied se trouve un pub où on peut boire et manger une pizza. Je conseil cet endroit.

Docce all'aperto, ma pulite. 1€/7 min di doccia. Possibilità di interrompere l'acqua, ma non il tempo che invece decorre da quando si inserisce il gettone. Piazzole su ghiaia ed erba. Direttamente sulle sponde del lago.
Für eine Person mit Fahrrad und Zelt habe ich zehn Euro bezahlt. Der Platz hat eine schöne Lage an Bach und See, in dem man Baden kann, wenn es nicht zu kalt ist. Die Duschen kosten zwar 1€, aber man für ganze 7 Minuten duschen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber. Es gibt sogar einen Raum, in dem man als Zeltender zur Not sitzen kann, wenn es regnet.

Sehr netter unkomplizierter Betreiber, der aber leider nur selten anzutreffen ist. Es ist der teuerste Campingplatz, auf dem wir bisher in Irland gestanden haben. Unseres Erachtens ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis deutlich unausgewogen. Die Lage am See ist nett, nützt aber nicht zum Spazieren, weil kein Rundweg existiert.

So ein entspannter Platz um mit seinem Camper zu stehen. John ist grandios! Duschen 7 min für 1€, Frischwasser, Küche und Elektro alles vorhanden. Können es hier nur empfehlen! Und für die, die es brauchen, WLAN ist auch top.

44 euro for the night. A total ripp off. These prices being charged around the country is giving the country a worse name than it already has. It take the good out of heading off in the camper. The site is fine and the facilities are OK. But for the price, totally not worth it. We won't be back here again at that price. It's pure gouging.

Accueil exceptionnel ! Les propriétaires sont juste adorables ! Le camping est très bien tenu et en bordure du lough Ree où nous avons pu faire du kayak en partant du camping. Nous recommandons vivement ! Lavage machine 6€, sèche linge 2€, douches 1€.
sehr schöner kleiner Campingplatz direkt am See mit allen Dienstleistungen, die man braucht. Dusche 7 Minuten für 1€, Temperatur regulierbar und einen abnehmbaren Duschkopf, was man sonst selten findet. Haben 31 €/Nacht ohne Strom bezahlt. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilft gerne bei Fragen. In direkter Nachbarschaft ein Pub, bei dem es Pizza gibt. Mittwochs treffen sich dort Musiker.

Sehr schöne Lage mit einigen Plätzen direkt am See. Herrlich zum Baden! Die Sanitaries waren klasse und sehr sauber. Alle WoMo-Einrichtungen vorhanden und sauber. Wir würden sofort wieder hingehen!

Très bon camping idéal pour une pause avant le retour pour Dublin. Installations sanitaires très bien. Douches 1€ pour 7mn, réglage chaleur possible, grandes cabines, possibilité d’arrêter l’eau pendant les 7mn pour la planète! Excellent accueil ! Le pub en ville Sean’s bar nous a été conseillé. Une excellente adresse. Vous pouvez aller à ce camping les yeux fermés.
Lovely little campsite just starting up for season so a few little things not 100% working but fabulous view and John the owner is very helpful and friendly. Only downside is it was expensive at 30 Euro not incl electricity for one night. Basically just used the three main camper services. So very expensive for that.
Stopped 1 night early November just before the site was due to close. All the usual facilities you would expect. Little pricey at €31 considering only 6amp limit on electricity but a nice stop overall beside the lake & nearby to Athlone itself

Lieux très sympathique, tout est fait pour la vidange du camping-car, lieux propre et aménagé. Défaut douche payante avec un accès limité à 7min pour 1€ temps très juste! Pas loin le Dog and Duck qui nous a dépanné pour manger.

A wonderful camping park with plenty of spaces, chargers, water taps, free toilets and paid showers. A beautiful view of the lake and plenty to do for children. There's a traditional pub right outside the camping with live music and good beer. The camping is run by very friendly and helpful people.

Convenient stop and pleasant. Sean’s Pub served one of best guiness pints we had while touring… quirky and nice place. Expensive but lovely Thai in the area too. Camping was all fine, clean etc.
Mr. John Kelly is a great host, couldn’t do enough for us, fantastic location, and the toilets and showers were clean all the time. Only a hop, skip and a jump from the Dog & Duck pub,(unfortunately only serve pizza) but nice pint O’Guinness! ;-)
Initially thought it was too busy but it was the perfect spot. Stayed only one night but would definitely recommend a few nights here. Great for swimming, paddle boarding and for feeding the ducks! Staff were the friendliest and most accommodating. If I could give 6 stars I would!
zu Beginn der irischen Ferien recht gut besucht, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Toiletten waren sauber und wurden nach 22 Uhr noch einmal gereinigt, für 1€ 7 min duschen = Preis-Leistung ok, Handbrause, Schwimmen im See, viele Angler - rund um zu empfehlen
Wunderbarer kleiner Campingplatz. Sehr nettes Personal, die auch noch nach 22:00 Uhr auf uns gewartet haben. Wir hatten uns per E-Mail angemeldet. 31€ pro Nacht für 2 Personen und Strom. Dusche 1€. Wasser und Abwasser Möglichkeit. Wir hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht.

Herrlicher Platz auf dem Weg nach Galway. Haben hier mit unserem T5 VW- Bus 31 Euro pro Nacht bezahlt. Rezeptionshäuschen war von 13 bis 22 Uhr besetzt. Sehr netter Empfang. Tolle ruhige Lage. Old Rail Trail zum entspannt Fahrradfahren nach Mulingar gleich in der Nähe.
Mehr als 20 Plätze. Unser Platz hat für ein 9.50 Mtr. Womo und zwei Personen ohne alles 30 € gekostet. Sollte ursprünglich 32 € kosten.
Lovely little well run campsite. Fabulous view of the lake. Great little pub a few yards away (no food, pizza menu only) 31 euro for a night with electric. Very friendly girl checking in. Will definitely be back.
Sehr schöner Campingplatz, wenn man keinen Strom braucht, kann man vorne am See stehen, aber auch die übrigen Plätze sind nett angelegt. Duschen mit 1 Euro Münzen, 26 Euro für die Nacht im womo mit 2 Personen ohne Strom, sanitär sauber und tip top in Ordnung.

Нормальный кемпинг. Без изысков, но все есть. Слить воду, залиться новой, мусорка, слив туалета. Чисто. Душ 1€ - 7 минут. Стрираться я бы тут не стал, но можно. Рядом озеро. Можно купаться или арендовать катер. С электричеством 2 человека и дом - 27 евро. Остановились по пути в Дублин.

Camping sympa bondé en week-end mais sans plus. Bruyant, causé régulièrement par les mises à l'eau et sortie des bateaux et jet ski. Même si j'ai fait un brochet, je déconseille la pêche dans les abord des pontons. Minimum pour camping-car si place disponible. 25 € x jour 2 + 1 child cash.
