Good location, plenty of space, great for cycling along the 43km railway track. Friendly staff in the cafe, good coffee, disappointing cakes.

Made most welcome in this lovely overnight, free stop. one of the few places you are able to dispose of your black toilet waste - which was kindly offered even before I had asked about it. No ready made camper facilities on site but, hey, we're all adaptable surely! please do make a purchase however small to support & leave no trace! Superb.

Stayed here two nights. Any signs about overnight stays now long gone. Asked in coffee shop if it was ok to stay overnight & they were more than happy. Coffee shop closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Toilets always open. Can refill water with canister & empty toilet. Great cycle or walks or runs in both directions. Peaceful night. Playground popular with locals.

Ein richtig schöner Platz, direkt neben den alten Gleisen. Man kann problemlos Übernachten. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren und Wanderungen.

Cracking park up, no problem to stay the night. Toilet facilities clean and the adjacent cafe does excellent home cooked food and is run by a friendly team. The Old Rail Trail is lovely. Thank you!

Aan het begin van het weggetje naar de parkeerplaats staat een bord dat het verboden is voor campers. Wij zijn weggegaan.

An amazing spot. Unfortunately since end of October 2023 there are now no camping overnight signs up.

Erg leuke plek, met leuk café in het oude treinhuisje, was net 6 maanden open. Rustige plek en nacht met 3 andere campers. Doen en vergeet niet bij Jack’s Stop een koffie met lekkers te halen, erg vriendelijke mensen.

Toller Stellplatz, ruhig, Spielplatz, Kinder können gefahrlos spielen, gepflegt und sauber. Kein Service. Jack‘s Bistro im alten Bahnhofsgebäude ist super. Guter Espresso, leckere frische Croissants und sonstige Leckereien. Es lohnt sich!

Endroit très sympathique et bien aménagé : à plat, des tables de pique-nique à disposition, eau. Toilettes uniquement quand le pub est ouvert. Assez atypique ! Manque une poubelle.

On our way back from Connemara to Dublin we stopped there for 1 night. A lot of space. 3 campers total this night. Definitely worth the small detour. Our kids had a lot of fun in the playground. The old train station working as a cafe very charming.

Très calme, superbe aire de jeux, toilettes publics propres et ouverts jour et nuit. Le robinet pour faire le plein d'eau derrière le mur du bar n'est en fonction que lorsque le bar est ouvert. Nous avons pu remplir le matin avant de partir le jeudi matin. Le bar est fermé le mardi et mercredi. Le dimanche 10h-5h. Les autres jours 8h30-5h30.

Flat, quiet, toilets, water, charging area (for phones), benches under cover and a cafe (not open Tuesday or Wednesdays). This place is lovely. There’s also a local pub close by but we didn’t make it that far. This is our favourite overnight stop yet.

Lovely spot especially if you have your bikes with you. Locals around till 20:30 then very quiet all night. Good toilets. We had breakfast at the cafe - open at 08:30. Note that the cafe and the pub in the village are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nice place. We spend a great night there. The people in the cafe are very friendly. The next restaurant is not close. Best to have your dinner with you.

Great park up very quiet overnight busy with walkers and cyclist early in the morning arrive late and leave early to allow customer parking for the cafe. No services available public toilets open when cafe is open

Endroit très sympa, très calme. Les wc sont accessibles seulement pendant les heures d’ouvertures du pub, 8h30 17h. Idem pour l’eau et la vidange des eaux noires qui ne peut se faire que dans les wc. Pas de vidange eau grise, remplissage eau propre depuis les wc également, prévoir long tuyau. Pas vu d’électricité. Petit déjeuner au pub , en terrasse au soleil parfait, personnels très accueillant.

What a lovely place, only been open a few days when we arrived . Owner of cafe very friendly as most people here are, toilets open all day where you can get water, good play area for kids, the parking will definitely need extending though, the old railway line has been asphalted so great for bikes,
