great area next to a police station, so feels nice and safe. only thing is if you have a long vehicle (we were 7m) you may end up blocking the path if you park like in the pictures. there are other parking areas around with same restrictions where you can park parallel to the pavement

Mooie plek, prijs is inmiddels £10,40 per 9uur, van 17:30-8:30 gratis en vrijdags van 17;30-maandag 8:30 ook gratis. Bussen vlakbij wandeling naar t centrum 40min. Overdag veel verkeer en om het uur de schoolbel (als de school open is) in de nacht rustig
per un weekend credo sia il migliore parcheggio di Edimburgo. Hai a fianco la sede della polizia, a 200 metri un supermercato fornito. la zona di sera è silenziosa e sicura. Per il centro città la strada è quella principale e non puoi sbagliare. Lo consiglio.
Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 4 giorni e siamo stati benissimo. In centro alla città, a soli 20 minuti dalla parte più turistica. Zona super tranquilla, passano poche macchine e ci sono sempre van e camper parcheggiati. Gratis da venerdì sera a lunedì mattina alle 8.
Wat een fijn plekje om de stad te verkennen. Heerlijk rustig geslapen. Dichtbij Dean village en op Max 10 minuten fietsen van het kasteel.

Very peaceful spot with great access to local small businesses. Mini mart at the bottom of the street and a half hour walk to the city centre. End on parking but parked out 7.5m side ways with no complaints... We will certainly be back.
Arrived around 10pm Saturday night in feb so loads of spaces. I can see it being busy in summer. Quiet and peaceful, very little traffic at night. 5 minute walk to Waitrose, coffee shops , restaurants and loads of charity shops.

Brilliant for staying a night or 2 in Edinburgh, 10 mins from centre. Quiet road at night no bother at all. Free after 5:30 on Friday to Monday morning
Beaucoup de places. Pas très cher. Grand commissariat de Police le long de la rue. 30 minutes à pied du centre. Pour dormir ça circule quand même pas mal jusqu'à 23h30 et ça reprend vers 6h30. C'est donc pas le meilleur endroit pour dormir tranquillement mais ça dépanne.
Awesome place! Great for visiting Edinburgh during the weekend. Was able to park the motor home parallel with the street so as not to block the road or sidewalk. Lots of space and easy walk to the bus stop.
Habe hier ohne Probleme zwei ruhige Nächte verbracht, man fühlt sich sehr sicher, angenehme Umgebung, Polizeistation direkt gegenüber.Supermarkt und großer Park, um mit dem Hund zu spazieren in unmittelbarer Nähe. In die Altstadt läuft man ca 35 Minuten. Super Parkplatz zum wirklich günstigen Preis (derzeit 8.60£/ 9h). Man darf Tag und Nacht stehen, gezahlt werden muss zwischen 8.30am und 17.30 pm

Excellent endroit pour visiter Édimbourg, toilettes à Waitrose au coin de la rue, bus 24 et 29 qui amènent en centre ville (35minutes à pieds sinon). Très calme la nuit. Attention pas de poubelle proche ni de point d'eau.
Prima plek. Betalen maandag t/'m vrijdag vanaf 8:30 uur tot 17:30 uur. Weekenden en nachten gratis. Let op met parkeren. Ben je langer dan 6.50 ga dan in de lengte staan. Er wordt gecontroleerd. Wait Rose supermarkt op de hoek, met toiletten. Bussen rijden vanuit de straat waar de supermarkt zit.

Very great spot. Very quiet at night. 10min by foot from the stockbridge neighbourhood (pubs, restos etc). Then 20/25min from city center (old town, castle). Waitrose (supermarket) just nearby. Thanks to the city for allowing this!
Well worth paying to stay here. Beautiful location. Felt the safest place we have ever parked. Opposite a police station so plenty of officers about. Very level. Good 4G and a quiet night sleep. Was more like a 35 minute walk to town but Uber was only £8.
The perfect stopover for a weekend in Edinburgh. Safe and secure toilets available at the local Waitrose until 9pm most nights if you need them. Close to the lovely suburb of Stockbridge with great food and drink offer and 35 mins to centre of Edinburgh- recommend!
Top Platz. Zentrumsnah und sicher. Aber Leute.. bitte parkt quer wenn ihr länger als 7m seid! Wir machen uns keine Freude wenn wir den Fußgängerweg zuparken! Denkt an Mamas mit Kinderwägen oder Rollstuhlfahrer! *update* heute (21.8., Montag) kam das Ordnungsamt und hat alle die auf dem Gehweg standen geweckt und zum umparken aufgefordert. Teilweise gab es Tickets.

Great place for large and small motorhomes. Everything has been written except the toilets. On the corner there is a Waitrose, open 7 days a week, where you can find free restroom. Enjoy!
Un spot genial, hemos pasado 2 noches. Buena zona de la ciudad, muy tranquila. Durante el día £8 a través de la app RingGo y por la noche gratuito. Tened en cuenta no ocupar la acera con la caravana o montabicis porque el revisor hace foto y además no dejas pasar a los niños, carritos y gente que pasa cada día hacia las escuelas. La calle es ancha y hay un lado para aparcar en paralelo.
Please don't block the footpath if parking here! An increasing number of large motorhomes are parking here and overhanging the pavement, blocking it. Today someone has put up a clothes line across the footpath! Please park with consideration for us locals, some of which need to use wheelchairs. (One star rating in the hope this gets read, it's a actually a great spot. Just don't ruin it)
You cannot go wrong with this spot. Thanks Edinburgh, and the Council for allowing it. It is close to the city center, it is safe because there's police in front of it. It is not hot because there's a park and trees around. To any end, you can have a shower at a gym named The Gym in town. Moreover you can cycle to town in 10 minutes or walk 25. This is not a parking, you'rd in a hotel. Thank you.
Toller Stellplatz, direkt ggü einer Polizeistation. An werktagen £9, wochende und nachts kostenlos. Man geht zufuß ca 30 min in die stadt. Es fahren aber auch Busse. Es gibt ein cafe und einen supermarkt in ca 100 m entfernung. Es gibt kein strom, grauwasserentsorgung etc wenn man drauf angewiesen ist. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

IMPORTANT! Don’t park with your rear wheels on the Pedestrian walkway even though it would be great for leveling but it will cause a fine. Our neighbor got one, don’t know how much it was. In the morning a police officer came to ask all the campers who blocked the pedestrian walkway to move a bit forward to let wheelchairs use the walkway. Please make sure it’s not blocked.
parfait emplacement gratuit pour la nuit. bus a proximité pour se déplacer dans la ville. En revanche, malgré avoir payé l'horodateur pour maintenir le stationnement sur la journée(par l'application) nous avons eu une amende de 50 livres. et nous n'avons toujours pas compris pourquoi...
Endroit parfait , c’est devenu un vrai parking de camping-cars, mais chacun a respecté les emplacements sans déballage et en laissant l’endroit propre. La nuit est paisible car peu de trafic et très sûr, commissariat de police en face. Accès au centre ville en bus (arrêts de bus 200m). Bref je recommande. Tarif du lundi au vendredi de 8h30 à 17h30 1£/heure. (9£ pour la journée) . Gratuit week-end
Le parking se paye en installant l’application Il faut entrer le numéro de téléphone au format 00336… Nuit au calme, parking spacieux. Accès facile au bus pour rejoindre le centre ville en 10min. Le bus se paye directement au chauffeur par carte ou espèces.
Coin pas mal pour laisser le CC et aller se promener dans Edinburgh à 20min du centre. Endroit très connu des camping-caristes, mais calme et gratuit du vendredi 17h30 au lundi 8h. A vos chopes de pintes qui ruissellent les rues.!

Emplacement assez calme pour passer une nuit à proximité du centre ville. La circulation reprend au petit matin. Stationnement payant de 8h30 à 17h30 pour 8,9 livres (prévoir monnaie) Supermarché à quelques pas.
Très bon plan pour stationner dans Édimbourg. A 15 mn de Dean village à pied, 20 à 25 mn du centre. Ou rejoindre le centre par les bus 24 ou 29. Prévoir de payer en pièces, l’appli ne semble pas envoyer le SMS de confirmation pour s’inscrire sur les numéros étrangers. Pas mal de fourgons et campings cars stationnés ici, pour 8,90£ la journée, gratuit la nuit. Attention aux longs gabarits qui empiètent sur le trottoir et bloquent le passage piéton goudronné par leur porte à faux: la tolérance des riverains pourrait avoir ses limites… Optez alors pour la rue perpendiculaire.

Good place to park on the outskirts of the New/Old Town. Great place over the weekend, as it is free - parking charges apply from Monday morning at 8.30 am (see photo No. 3) to Friday evening. 20 minutes walk approximately to Edinburgh Castle.
Super Platz um die Stadt zu erkunden und eine ruhige Nacht zu verbringen. Ca. 3 Minuten bis zur Bushaltestelle, von wo aus man direkt in die Innenstadt kommt.
Perfect for seeing Edinburgh. Don't be deterred by signs 'max stay 9 hours', checked with parking inspectors confirmed outside of 8-5PM Monday to Friday you're permitted to stay as long as you like (WITH A TICKET). We arrived at 1PM Fri and could stay until 8AM Mon for only a few £. Toilets in Waitrose. Quiet night, fair slope on parks but switched heads to other end of bed and that was ok.
Super emplacement en épi. Nuit très calme car peu de véhicules et non excités. Application Ringo app ne fonctionne pas. Il faut payer en cash. Super marché à 300 m pour faire des courses et avoir de la monnaie pour payer le stationnement.
ruhiger Stellplatz neben der Polizei. Über Nacht Parken erlaubt. Tagsüber (außer am Wochenende) muss eine Parkgebühr am Automaten oder per App bezahlt werden. Durch die Polizei hatten wir mit dem Parkplatz ein sicheres Gefühl. Zu Fuß etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten gehen bis in die Innenstadt oder mit dem Bus 24 oder 29 10 Minuten (Princess Street). Edinburgh ist eine tolle Stadt, sehr empfehlenswert.
Grundsätzlich gute Stellmöglichkeiten in der Stadt. Allerdings max. 6m Fahrzeuge Gebühren fällig von 8.30 - 17.30. Nachts kostenlos Längere Wohnmobile können aber um die Ecke längs zur Straße stehen
