A really great little campsite, the owners were very welcoming. It was lovely having the goats and chicken right there, we walked to see the pigs in the morning too. The facilities were great, nice little kitchen and sitting area, only 2 toilets and 1 shower but all very clean. We booked last minute and were very lucky they still had a spot left for the night as there’s only 6 handstanding pitches

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, wenn auch nur 1 Nacht (dafür mit prachtvollem Sonnenuntergang). Super sympathische Gastgeber, ein liebevoller Platz und viel Ruhe! Die Tiere sind in einem eigenen Bereich und kommen Nachts in deren Ställe. Ideal für Reisende von/nach Orkney oder für Ausflug zum Castle of Mey.

Great little site. 5 hard standing pitches and plenty of space for tents. Adorable animals including pigs and goats. Clean toilets and shower. Camp kitchen too. Friendly hosts. Peaceful location close to John O Groats and Thurso

What a fantastic site. Great host, amazing facilities, pitches are large with hard standing and grass to the side. Amazing sunsets, couldn’t ask for more, a definite stop off on the NC500

WOW what an amazing little campsite with the most loveliest hosts, so welcoming immaculate facilities and a lovely warm shower and that's not even the best bit,the 3 utterly adorable sisters kunekune pigs who we absolutely loved feeding carrots cucumber and apples can't wait to see again next time as we will definitely be back!! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough❤️❤️❤️

Sehr süßer, kleiner Campingplatz. Schnelle und unkomplizierte Anfrage über Mail, konnten so spontan noch buchen. Bad & Toiletten sauber, kleine Küche vorhanden.

Ein Platz für 5-6 Wohnmobile/ Camper mit ausreichend Abstand für eine Nacht. Eine Möglichkeit für Trinkwasser & Toilettenentsorgung ist vorhanden! Dusche & Toilette war sauber. Die Gegend ist im Vergleich zu dem Rest der NC 500 nicht schön.

A warm welcome and a stunning location. Easy walk to North facing sea views, and easy access to the NC500 route. Facilities were very welcome with electric hook ups, hot shower and clean toilet facilities. We stayed 2 nights and it was worth every penny. Bring earplugs if you want to avoid the early morning Rooster alarm call, but we would definitely return here if we come to the area again.

Ce campsite est tout simplement génial, ambiance chaleureuse, démarche éco-responsable, propriétaires super sympas et un paysage à couper le souffle. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous ressourcer, c'est ici qu'il faut aller. ️ Un grand merci à Vicky pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse !!Alex et Manu

Nette Atmosphäre und Badezimmer auf Hotelniveau!!! Alles ist liebevoll ein- und hergerichtet und natürlich mit Bauernhofflair durch die tollen Tiere… Ziegen, Katzen, Hühner, Truthähne, Schweine und bestimmt noch mehr. Sehr netter Betreiber und natürlich tolle Standplätze.

Wir wären hier gerne eine Nacht geblieben, aber leider ist nur das entleeren von „grünem“ Chemie WC erlaubt. Da unseres dringend geleert werden musste sind wir weiter gefahren. Schade.

Small site run by a lovely couple. Toilets and a shower. Washing up, water and chemical dumps available. Nice short walk to the tiny harbour area - very scenic. A little lounge is a nice extra with WiFi.

Amazing privately run site, Hosts so friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and places to go. Definitely recommend.

Inhaber sehr freundlich und nett, gute sanitäre Anlagen ( Badezimmer mit Toilette und eine extra Toilette- bei der Größe des Platzes durchaus ausreichend) . Schöne Atmosphäre-zum Wohlfühlen

Toller kleiner Stellplatz nicht unweit von der NC 500. Inhaber sehr freundlich. Das Sanitär ist einmal eine Dusche mit WC und Waschbecken und daneben ist noch ein WC. Alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und absolut das beste Badezimmer auf einen Campsite ever!! Würde immer wieder kommen. Nur nicht für große Wohnmobile geeignet. Unseren ist 7 mtr, das ging gerade noch.

lovely spot and the hosts are lovely too. a small quiet site just off the main nc500. there goats, pigs and turkeys to see and just a nice welcoming spot. we had hot showers, water, and chemical toilet disposal while there. would stay again!

Excellent place to stay for only £24 the hosts are super friendly and can't do enough for you it's only a small site with 5 ehu pitches and 1 none ehu which we stayed with totally flat hard standing a wonderful quiet nights sleep we will definitely be staying here again but next time for longer

Liebevoll gestalteter Stellplatz, sehr freundliche engagierte Betreiber. Super ordentlich, gemütlich und sauber. Fünf Gehminuten vom kleinen Hafen. Schwarzwasserentsorgung nur mit grünem oder ohne Zusatz möglich

Warm welcome from Christian and Vicky, very quiet site, clean and modern toilets, one with a shower, good indoors dish washing kitchen + a lounge area with good wifi. Love what they have setup, enjoyed my stay and would certainly be back if in the area.

Lovely little campsite, 2 toilets and one shower all super clean and the water is hot! Great little welfare room for campers with kettle and washing up facilities. There is a chill out area aswell with leather sofa and radio on for them rainy nights. Water refill point available and level gravel pitches for Motorhome’s. The couple who host are fantastic, so genuine, kind and helpful. My little girl especially loved the totes and resident dog who was more than happy to play with her. Had a brilliant time, thanks!

Hosts were really friendly & pitches were flat but fresh water was inconveniently available (but not near pitches at the moment), a single combined toilet & shower which was cold due to demand) no chemical waste … yet same price as well set up parks which did make sense or value compared to every other park we’d stayed at on our trip. Watch deep drainage ditch near entry (hidden by undergrowth).

Absolutely fantastic, Quiet,clean site. Christian and Vicky are so welcoming, so too are all their lovely animals. Everything you need for peaceful time. unfortunately my daughter had an accident whilst out on the bike so had to leave early. Will defo be back up for a visit...

Met een warm welkom werden we begroet door Christian en Vicky. Vijf gravel plekken met elektriciteit en gras erom heen. Heel landelijk gelegen. 10 minuutjes lopen naar de zee, kiezelstrand en een pier. Het ‘einde van de wereld’. Faciliteiten passend bij een boerencamping. Keurig en schoon.

what an extraordinary calm and quiet place! we spontaneously came for an overnight stop - but only after a few moments decided to make it 2 nights. please keep this site as great as it is and support this wonderful couple! friendly, everything clean and appropriate!

Camping charmant dans l’arrière cour d’une ferme. Nous avons réservé en last minute et avons été accueillis à notre arrivée. Les sanitaires sont très propres et chauffés !

absolutely perfect place.. wonderful people that have done a great job .. hard standing pitches ehu if needed.. everything you could want inside the little barn which has a fantastic shower toilet facilities.. little kitchen area .. seating area . home from home did not want to leave. so peaceful and quiet piggmie goats turkeys ducks the wee shetland pony

Great place near the coast. The hosts are super nice and you have to see their pigmy goats! Clean facilities, though not heated in the winter, but still very cosy.

Wunderschöner Platz mit sehr Herzlichen Betreibern. Äußerst saubere Toiletten und Dusche. Der Platz ist sehr gepflegt und mit kleinen Ideen wie zb einen Aufenthaltsraum für Zelter oder auch für eine gemeinsamer Zeit mit anderen Campern.

Couldn't recommend this campsite enough! Called up last minute and thankfully they had space. This was easily our favourite campsite when doing the NC500. Christian and Vicki were very welcoming and they have done an incredible job transforming the little farm into a beautiful, modern campsite. Great size gravel pitch with EH. Kleiner, schöner Stellplatz. Sehr nette Besitzer. Haben uns herzlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Es hat eine kleine Küche, eine Dusche mit WC, ein separates WC und ein kleiner Aufenthaltsraum. Alles sehr sauber und neu gemacht. Wir zahlten für ein Camper und 2 Personen mit Strom 27£.

The owners, Christian and Vicki, are great hosts and extremely friendly and helpful. Campsite is large and can easily accommodate campervans and tents. There is a communal building with showers,toilets and a small kitchen (but not with a stove) but great to use for washing up or making coffee or tea. Recommended to stay!

Very nice and new campsite with a friendly chap. Clean warm showers, electricity and water was all we needed. We had a quiet and pleasant night.

Total nette Besitzer. Super schöner Platz.
