(E25 CP26) Cashel - 1 Rock Lane

Sind hier durch Zufall gelandet 4,50€ pro Tag, Schranke ohne Höhenbegrenzung. Die Nacht war ruhig und wir waren am nächsten Morgen eine der ersten auf dem sehr gut besuchten Rock of Cashel mit sicherem Parkplatz. Abends konnten wir kein Ticket mehr ziehen, haben Ticket verloren gewählt, 4,50€ bezahlt und konnten ausfahren.

Grand parking au pied du Rock of Cashel (très belle vue). WC à la sortie du parking. Attention, c'est 4,5 € la journée et non pas 24 h : les pendules sont remises à 0 à minuit, donc, si vous y passez le nuit, vous payez 9 €.

The barriers are working and parking no longer free on a Sunday, we drove in as you do get 20 minutes free but drove out and on to the other town parking which is free each day! This parking was €4.50 all day, unsure on overnight if permitted or not. There were 4 motorhomes parked in the bus parking on our visit.

What a great spot. Arrived in the afternoon and parked in the normal spaces, then moved to tge coach bays after 5pm. The car park filled up with cars for the evening, although they all dispersed by 11pm. The lighting on the castle at night is lovely. On Sundays the barrier is up so it is free to park during the day.

Sommes arrivé vers 17h15 et la barrière était fermée, impossible de rentrer.

parfait pour visiter la ville et le château 4.5 euros si plus de 20 minutes sur places. on y a dormi sans problème, un peu de passages dans la soirée les locaux semble s'amuser à entrer et sortir du parking mais nuit calme.

Gratuit de 18:30 à 7:00. Ou 4,5 € pour 24 heures. Très calme.

un endroit sympa au pied du rocher. beaucoup de places pour s'installer. le superviseur du parking est tres sympa et disponible en journée. point negatif : des rassemblements de jeunes en voiture qui aiment faire du bruit. cependant a 22h30 le parking etait a nouveau desert.

Eigentlich brauchbarer Parkplatz direkt beim Rock. Leider ist abends ein Kommen und Gehen von jungen Leuten mit lauter Musik und Raumgefahre auf dem Parkplatz bis 2:00.

parcheggio tranquillo e silenzioso. A 5 minuti dall'ingresso di Rock of Cashel. Da notare il centro culturale appena sotto il parcheggio Brù Borù che organizza spettacoli tradizionali di musiche e canti irlandesi ai quali consiglio vivamente di partecipare. Il parcheggio costa 4,50 senza limiti di tempo scegliendo l'opzione "lost ticket" dalla macchinetta.

Quiet place right underneath one of the most scenic castles with the most beautiful Romanesque church of Ireland, and all that for 4.5 €, a bargain.

Parking au pied de la cathédrale ; pas pratique (pas plat, pas de place pour les fourgons ou CC plus longs que 5,40m). La visite des ruines de la cathédrale ferme 16h30. Il y a de la place en ville pour les petits fourgon (1h = 1 €). Sinon, il y a des places sur la route R505 qui passe en contre bas de l'édifice.

Optimaler Parkplatz mit optimaler übernachtungsmöglichkeit. und 4,50 € wird jeder wohl auch tragen können für den ganzen Tag. Übrigens der automatisch wieder in Ordnung. 5 Minuten Weg in die Stadt, Toilette für über Tag gibt es auch, nachts geschlossen. Was will man mal mehr.

Rip off car park if you're just visiting the overpriced Rock of Cashel. €1 an hour on the road leading up to it opposite the souvenir shop on the left. After travelling Ireland for 3 months, there are so many better ruins that are either way cheaper with free car parking or even free. Tourist trap with good publicity. Dogs are not allowed in either, even though all open?

Arnaque ! C'est écrit gratuit la nuit de 18h30 à 7h30 le matin... Faux vous devez payer quand même pour y sortir ( 4.50€ ) car ils ne donnent pas de ticket après 18h30 et le matin on s'est retrouvés devant une barrière qui ne s'ouvrait qu'avec un ticket... il faut allée à la borne et taper sur " lost ticket " qui est à 4.50€ Chère pour un parking qui ferment les toilettes la nuit...

Prima plek om een nacht te vertoeven. We hebben de camper om 15u neergezet en even het kasteel bezocht. Vanaf 17u wat jeugd waarbij we ons afvroegen of we de camper veilig achter konden laten. Na terugkomst uit nabij gelegen pub, bleek dat stress om niks. Toiletten waren ondertussen afgesloten, maar waren de volgende ochtend weer open vanaf 8.30u. Gedrukt op "lost ticket" en zo voor 4,50eu klaar.

Parking ideal para visitar Rock of Cashel. Probamos a aparcar en los otros 5 parkings y la mayoría eran pequeños con plazas para Camper. Tarifa plana de 4.5€ todo el día.

Leute. Derzeit ist der Automat kaputt. Man kann kostenlos parken und übernachten. Es gibt Bänke und Tische und der Touristenstrom bricht mit dem Schließen der Burg ab. Einzig die Parkplätze für Busse dürften nicht genutzt werden. Der Automaten wir offensichtlich noch längere Zeit defekt sein (jemand scheint ihn mutwillig zerstört zu haben). Die Nacht ist ruhig und die Umgebung nett. Gratis WC.

Stayed Friday 2/6/23 and had a lovely evening. Dawn chorus birds next morning very good. Great location in the centre of town. Free parking overnight. Lovely outside dog friendly pub top of the lane @ Teehans.

2 nuits sur ce grand parking au pied du Rock of Cashel. Belle vue sur ce haut lieu historique. Gratuit de 18h30 à 7h30, mais il faut payer pour sortir le matin. Forfait de 4,50 euros, c'est très correct. Pour une arrivée après 18h30, pas de ticket délivré, donc pour repartir, on appuie sur "lost ticket". Un gros bémol : les rodéos de voitures de la part de jeunes en soirée.

Un peu bruyant en début de soirée avec le passage des voitures, mais par la suite nous avons passé une nuit au calme. Belle vue sur le Rock of cashel.

Nuit passé sur ce parking, vue incroyable sur le château. Cependant beaucoup de passages avant minuit, des voitures venant et partant. Gratuit pour la nuit jusqu’à 7h30.

Parking calme la nuit, idéal pour visiter le château et la ville. il y a un parcours à pied pour admirer le tour du château et la magnifique campagne environnante.

Had two very quiet nights parked here. Right by the Rock and short walk into lovely Cashel. Barriers were up and the machines had all crashed when we got there so we didn't pay. We checked with a local coach driver who said we didn't need to get a ticket or do anything - sounded like they may have been out of action for a while and we had no problems. No services but great for a couple of nights.

Sitio estupendo para pasar la noche, ni un ruido y a los pies del castillo. Cuesta 4€ pero tiene cámaras y duermes tranquilo

Posto perfetto per visitare la rocca. Notte tranquilla, sono entrate un paio di macchine con dei ragazzi dopo cena, ma si sono fermati lontano da noi e non hanno fatto casino. Se si arriva con le sbarre aperte, il giorno dopo alla cassa automatica si seleziona "Lost ticket", e si pagano 3,50€ (valido per tutta la giornata). Ottimo!

Would park here during the day but not at night. In the foot of the Rock of Cashel with a toilet block nearby. It's a hangout spot for locals car enthusiasts.

Endroit propre, nous étions les seuls à rester pour la nuit. Les toilettes sont fermées à 17h.en revanche, nous étions un samedi soir et jusqu’à 22h certains s’amusaient à accélérer sous nos fenêtres !! Étant donné que les barrières restent ouvertes la nuit, ça leur laisse le champ libre.

Stayed here on a Friday night. Couple boy racers around but it wasn’t too loud or inconvenient. Beautiful to wake up to the Rock of Cashel outside the door! We left at 8am for free but there were staffers already around so I think any later you’d get stuck for a fee.

Saturday night, 6.30pm we arrived on an empty lot, 7.30pm a lot of cars (about 30) arrived nearby us, put loud music during 10 minutes then stopped. We were wondering either leaving or not, we stayed. They all left around 8.30pm … all that to say, great spot, great night

Good park up, quite night, still €4.50 to exit, clean toilets nearby.

Great central location, the carpark is right under the Rock of Cashel. 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Barriers are open from 6:30pm until 9:30am so if your in and out between those times it’s free otherwise it’s €4.50. Its normally quiet but sometimes there are noisy cars.

Good spot but the barriers are RAISED at 18:30, not lowered! And there are lots of boy racers about in the town. We stayed at the Frier St car park where some building work is going on. Leave before 09:30 to avoid a charge.

Parking vide le soir avec barrière ouverte la nuit, beaucoup de places, pour sortir du parking nous avons dû faire ticket oublié pour payer les 4,50€ pour ensuite sortir du parking la journée.

Beautiful view of the rock of Cashel which is lit up at night. There are bins on site and toilets open during the day. Some traffic through the car park until around 9.30pm but quiet after that. Free if you leave before 7.30am, after that it is €4.50 to get out.

€4.50 to park, you pay at the machine when leaving, barriers are lowered at night to stop the boy racers entering. A little road noise early evening but not bad. Public toilets open during the day. Only a few minutes walk to the town with pubs and restaurants. Had a good night's sleep.

Très joli point de vue sur le rock of Cashel qui est éclairé la nuit. Gratuit si vous partez avant 7h30. Si vous dépassez l'heure, il vous faudra aller à la borne de paiement, appuyer sur le bouton 4 (lost ticket) et cela vous coûtera 4€. Les toilettes publiques, et propres, sont gratuites et ouvertes en même temps que le château.

Parking tranquille dès 18h jusqu'à 8h. Le prix est de 4.5€/24h. de 18h à 8h gratuit car les barrières sont ouvertes. Quelques petits restaurants et pub, pas de magasin proche.

Parkplatz direkt am Castle. Wir kamen halb sieben am Abend da waren die Schranken schon oben. Bis 8uhr früh kostenlos. Nachts sehr ruhig. Das Übernachtenbwurde uns von einem Mitarbeiter erlaubt. Tagsüber gibts es Toiletten.

Idéal effectivement. Tarif identique ce jour.
