Amazing! Superb welcome! Girl at the reception very helpful and knowledgeable! Owner just simply The Best! Spacious pitches! Toilet, showers and kitchen block very clean! Dogs allowed! Live music on Saturday evening fantastic!Shops and village in walking distance! Plenty to do ... near by! Many campsites in Ireland could learn how to treat Your guests! Our 1st but definitely not last visit there!
Great Aire, only stayed for 1 night. Plots are well spaced apart. Beautiful river valley walk to St. Mullins. Dogs welcome on lead.

Absolute gem of a place. I'd intended just staying a night but staying longer now. Lovely cycle rides and walks along the bank of the River Barrow. Note: pitch numbers are painted on kerbstone and hard to see/easy to miss.
Great place. Very nicely priced, great service, modern facilities , close to town . Quite and clean.
5/5 doesn’t seem enough! This site’s in a beautiful location with immaculate facilities. Highly recommended! And a short walk into a quaint little riverside town too. Not many restaurants, but a Chinese takeaway and kebab/pizza outlet. My best advice is about driving to the site, stick to the bigger (N) roads. We approached from Kilkenny and went on some narrow single track roads-try to avoid!
Fantastic place to stay, just spent weekend for music fest it was fab and staff all very good and happy thank you for a great weekend, can’t wait to next year
Was looking forward to staying here as had heard so many good things about it…. And it’s probably a good place if you get the right pitch…. I would advise not to stay down at the “castle” pitches which are on the way in. There’s overflow / wild camping tolerated here seemingly, and I’ve been disturbed every night by inconsiderate others - diesel heater, engines running, kids kicking football and music late into the night.
This is a fantastic site. Motorhomes./Campers only. New toilets,showers, and kitchen, all immaculate. Each vehicle has a hardstand and graass space. Fifteen euro per night, 20 with hook up. Booking advisable, particularly in high season.
We spent a few nights here and it was great despite being full each night. Very safe swimming spot about ten minutes walk upriver..
Very good spot, showers excellent, would someone just use a strimmer to improve the view of the river, then 5 stars.
The place is wonderful and quiet. Live music during the day. You will find everything you need during your stay. There are cafes, pubs and shops nearby, and many beautiful paths for walking.

Wunderschön am Fluss gelegen, Dorf sehr nah, super Pub Doyle. Man kann sehr schön am Fluss spazieren gehen oder radeln.

lovely campsite. town isnt great. i wouldnt bother going. just stay and relax beside the river in campsite. entertainment and full facilities. nice stay and well worth a visit
Great facility, very well maintained. Arrived late in the evening and had a little trouble finding our pitch. For future reference the pitches are numbered it was just hard to spot it in the dark. Shower & toilet block is kept clean. There's two ladies shower cubicles in the new block, lots of hot water and they can be accessed using the keypad lock (the email states they're closed after 5pm).
Fantastic spot, very innovative project, hopefully more across Ireland. Lovely area, great walks. Hub hosts events, all facilities. Prices now €14.50/night +€5 electric, €2 donation for showers, €2-€5 bins. It is very popular, so hard to book unless in advance. New toilet/shower block, but only 1 male toilet cubicle. New kitchen with laundry, book exchange, dog wash.
If I could give 6 * I would. This is our 4th return here. We love the riverside location, the town, the walks and cycling. The staff are lovely and the new showers are excellent. €2 in an honesty box or pay when you leave. St Mullin's cafe, south along the river is excellent. Doyles pub is great and the supermarket sells most things. Bear in mind weekends here are always busy so book ahead.
Brilliant campsite in a gorgeous location along the Barrow Way. The people who work there, really make it. So friendly and chatty. The toilet and shower block along with the community kitchen & library is fantastic. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
sauberer Campingplatz, schöne Anlage, man kommt sich aber ein bisschen so vor, als wären die anderen Gäste eine eingeschworene Truppe, die man fragen muss, wo alles ist, Rezeption zwar vorhanden, saßen aber in dem Gemeinschaftsraum (?), alles nicht so klar ausgeschildert, Kosten für Müll gibt einem ein blödes Gefühl (ab wann ist eine Mülltüte klein/groß?) Als Zwischenstopp zur Fähre ausreichend

As everyone has already said, this is a great little place, and very popular! They were nearly full when we visited mid-half teem week in October. Clean facilities and beautiful dog walking all along the Barrow.

Great little site right on the river Barrow. Good value for money. Clean and good facilities- toilets, showers ( €2 now) kitchen, waste water and chemical disposal. Food van on site and shops in walking distance.
I'd highly recommend this campsite and it's set in a beautiful location on the river and just a stone's throw from Graignemanagh town. The walks along the river are amazing. The staff were lovely and helpful and booking online was simple. My only complaint was the toilets and showers; the toilets and showers were far too small for a campsite this big!
Would highly recommend, new toilet/shower block with campers kitchen is a great addition. Shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Scenic walks along the river in both directions. Enjoyed a rainy Saturday afternoon listening to a local musician under the shelter. Wish there were more places like this!
Der Stellplatz ist sehr schön und sauber. Einer ruhigen Nacht steht nichts im Weg. Leider werden für die Dusche 1€ und für die Müllentsorgung 2€ bis 5€ extra verrechnet. Deswegen jeweils einen Stern Abzug. Die Buchung erfolgt mittels QR Code, der beim Haupthaus sehr gut sichtbar aushängt. Die WC waren bei unserem Besuch gerade im Umbau. Wir würden wieder kommen.
Great site located right in Village. Amazing walks along the river. Flat plots and very quiet at night the only noise you will hear is the sound of the Weir. Excellent value. Make sure you approach from top road and not the gate by the bridge in the village.

Brilliant location on the edge of town, unbelievably there were no restaurants open in the evening during week days, a new shower block is currently being constructed, the facilities onsite are basic, the toilets and showers are quite grubby. 2 toilets are available for the whole site after 5. These are accessed via keypad and get filthy very quickly, clean up after yourself will help.
A fantastic spot for a weekend in a lovely little town where there is a great pride in the community. so pretty beside the river. The cost has gone up slightly to 19.50 per night with ehu. Lovely walks along the river and 1 min walk to the closest pub and supermarket.
Excepcional. Lugar muy bonito al lado del rio y con acceso al centro del pueblo por la salida del final del parque. Con todos los servicios. Nos quedamos solamente a pasar el día y no nos quisieron cobrar nada.
Ganz wichtig, weil ich nun seit vier Wochen da bin und diese Information für andere auch wichtig sein könnte: Sonntags schließt die Rezeption und somit das Gebäude mit den Duschen schon um 12:00, also Duschen nur von 9 bis 12 am möglich, manchmal kommt nochmal jemand am Nachmittag und öffnet das Gebäude. Ansonsten ein Traumplatz! Ganz besondere Energie hier!

Fantastisch gelegen! Ruime plekken. Sanitair schoot in hoogseizoen een beetje tekort. Overdag van 9.30 tot 17.00 zijn de douches open en zijn er extra toiletten beschikbaar. Na 17 uur slechts 2 toiletten, die op een gegeven moment wel erg vies werden. Geen afwasfaciliteiten.
Aire de camping tranquille en bord de rivière. Rien à dire pour 12€. C’est parfait ! On recommande !
12€ la nuit, les places sont tops, aire de vidange OK;comme à un camping. Chaque service à côté est payant (2€/sac poubelle;1€/douche). C’est dommage mais pour 12€ la nuit ce n’est pas grave. Pêche possible. L’accès aux sanitaires se fait par code la nuit. Très calme. Comme indiqué dans un autre commentaire, au rond point descendre la route où il y a un portail et suivre les panneaux…
Sehr schöne Anlage und nur kurzer Fussweg in die Ortschaft. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Anmeldung durch QR-Code problemlos. Haben für 12 Euro gebucht (es gibt auch Plätze für 17 Euro), da ist es auch OK, dass die Dusche 1 Euro extra kostet. Aber 1 Stern Abzug, weil die Duschen nur bis 17 Uhr geöffnet sind.
Fantastic place to stay. 2 minute walk to shops, pubs, take away. Very reasonable rates, online booking. Fishing on site. Walk or cycle along the river path. On site camper shop. Swimming in the river at local place, with on duty lifeguard in the summer school holidays.
Be careful when using sat Nav or Google maps it will have you turning left after the hump back bridge over the river. No vehicle access to the site from that road. If you go over the bridge carry on through the town and you will see Aldi on your left, at the roundabout take the first exit at the next roundabout take the first exit and the entrance is 150 m on the right.
Great location on the banks of the Barrow with lovely walking trails nearby. Very convenient to the town. Helpful staff and very good value.
très bonne adresse. nous y avons passé 2 nuits. prix tres correct, sanitaires propres et emplacements bien délimités. accès direct à pied au centre ville. réservation quasi obligatoire pour une arrivée en week end.
Si vous arrivez en fin de journée plus personne à l accueil des 16h. Par chance,la barrière était ouverte et nous avons pu nous installer sur une place qui etait disponible.Avons été informé que cette aire fonctionnait par réservation sur internet et que nous risquions d être déloger. Finalement ceci n a pas eu lieu! sinon emplacements calmes à proximité du village et de la rivière
Sehr schön gelegener ruhiger Stellplatz direkt am Fluß und doch fußläufig nah am Ortszentrum. Angesichts der geringen Grundgebühr ist verständlich, dass die Inanspruchnahme von zusätzlichen Leistungen auch zusätzlich zu bezahlen ist.
Lugar perfecto para pasar un par de días en pueblo encantador con todos los servicios, gasolinera, Aldi, Pub, actividades, senderismo. Buenas parcelas. El problema es que los wc y duchas (tipo gimnasio) solo están abiertas de 9 am a 5 pm y a veces cerradas al medio día. También cobran por el reciclaje de residuos. Por lo demás perfecto. Pasamos dos noches perfetas y volveríamos.

Echt prima prijs voor alles wat je kunt doen. Fijne douches (ruim). Neem wel altijd los geld mee voor douches in Ierland. Vrouw die daar werkt komt uit NL, maar woont al 22jr in Ierland. Leuk mens! Heerlijk aan het water 1 dag met stroom en 1 dag zonder. Lekker gewandeld in omgeving!

Nous y avons passé une nuit le long de la rivière. Pour y accéder nous avons suivi l itinéraire de l aire de camping car. Les 2lieux sont en fait le même. Accessible avec 7.5m

Lovely and quiet despite being a 5 minute walk to a characterful town with shops a pub and carry outs Village has a lovely abbey and a fantastic woollen mill which is one of only two in Ireland producing their unique woollen products Both are well worth a visit Canal path close and is super for walking or cycling to next village bike and canoe hire available locally. Great find ?
A really nice quiet spot to stay by the river. Stunning view and a lovely walk. The site is situated very close to the town but you wouldn’t know it. 5 min walk from shop and bars. We would definitely stay there again if we visit. Not sure how to add photos of the view.
Nice Aire in the banks of the river Barrow. Very close to town centre. Nice walks in the area. We stayed Monday night 24th October and it was 16 euro for 2 people including EHU. Grey waste, black waste and fresh water available. Rubbish disposal 2 euro extra. Very quiet when we stayed (only 1 other campers).
Fantastic facilities here. Toilets and showers and right beside the town. The local Chinese deliver to your site if you give them your spot, super handy. Beautiful walks and scenery. You must visit the inside of Duiske Abbey, absolutely beautiful
Beautiful spot on banks of Barrow River. Cheap and nicely organised. All facilities required - showers open only till 5pm when staff is onsite. Two minutes walk to town centre. Great place for cycling, running, kayaking, hillwalking etc. Limited number of electric points - take extension lead!

Lovely aire by the river however at weekends in summer packed to the rafters so not for us. Some vans playing music loudly not acceptable. Beautiful town with lots of shops etc. splendid walk along river. Limited services.
A great cheap and safe place to stay. Graig village has all you need in it with pubs, cafes and shops. You can cycle or walk in total safety along the old toe path of the river/canal to lovely St Mullins.
Il faut entrer par le portail, tout de suite à droite après le rond-point et descendre sur la route. Accueil charmant. 16 € avec électricité, pour un CC, 2 seniors et 1 ado. Grands emplacements. Aire en bord de rivière, sous les ruines d'un château. Accès au centre village et tous les commerces à l'entrée opposée (piétons). Joli cœur de village très vivant. Avec son barber au top, un artiste !

Lovely little aires in the heart of the town which is on the banks of the river barrow. The site has no marked pitches, it is a green area of a community water sports centre. Electric is available and payment is via an honesty box. Toilet facilities area available at no extra cost. Beautiful greenway walk along the river bank for 10km & more. Overnight with electricity was €15.
