Level with view of hills on opposite side of road. Feels very rural though maybe not as picturesque as some. Noise typical of all roadside parking on this stretch which is fine. Would take 3, maybe 4 cooperative VW sized campervans.
Ce petit parking nous a sauvé la nuit ! En effet, il y avait beaucoup de vent mais nous étions parfaitement abrité du coup on a passé une nuit calme. Un peu de circulation au réveil mais ça va.
Standard roadside park up. Most importantly it’s sheltered. Wanted to park at the bridge but the wind was rocking the van violently. This lay-by has high granite walls on the westerly side (where most of the wind comes from) so have complete shelter from the gale! No fasciitis at. Weak 4G on EE
Nice spot very quiet not a lot of road noise
Bit midgey but quiet (far more so than Harris, oddly), a good (sheep free) hill for the dogs to run up, and a relatively level spot to park. Good 4G signal.
