This is a great spot in the middle of the city, but remember to prepare for there being no toilet facilities. We stopped on a Saturday night and it was quiet, but dog walkers and cyclists use the lovely riverside walk until late, though that's not a bother. We woke up to rowers on the river! It's a 10 minute walk into the Trent Bridge area of town where there are a number of pubs and restaurants.
Ottimo parcheggio per passare la notte è perché no anche un tardo pomeriggio e una mattinata. Sulle sponde del fiume con il parco giochi affianco, strada tranquilla per la notte è anche con pista ciclabile. Parcheggio gratis.

Amazing city spot- quiet with a lovely view over the river. We had a great night here before hopping on the tram, at the end of the road, to enjoy the Christmas market.
Stayed Saturday 18th December 2021 until Sunday. Lovely, misty winters morning walk along the river. Quiet overnight.
Stayed here during storm Arwen on Friday and Saturday night (Nov 26th & 27th). A bit windy but not a problem. Great spot. Nice walk around the river. Close proximity to Nottingham centre (1.5miles) about 30 min walk. quiet and peaceful. Busy with walkers by day. Good phone reception (3 and Virgin). No facilities as it’s a public area.
Stayed here all good some parts had car meets so at times wasn't the most peaceful but only lasted about an hour
We and friends in their van enjoyed a night by the river .lots of space and no restrictions except parking only between 5pm and 8am . a few cars in the evening and runners in the morning.
Great city spot. Only light traffic but overall quiet. Good play ground opposite for the kids.
Great stop, parking signs only say restrictions Mon-Fri from 8am to 5pm. Lovely big park, kids play area, and lots of benches along the river.
