Tres belle endroit mais un panneaux indique qu'on ne peut y passer la nuit
Aire de repos sur Fonthill Estate, sur une route assez calme.
Le Beckton Arms est un charmant pub à proximité (~ 10 minutes à pied, 2 minutes en voiture) avec un excellent service et une cuisine délicieuse. Lay-by a une réception minimale pour le réseau giffgaff, il est donc préférable de ne pas compter sur la 4G. Était bon pour promener le chien, nager sauvage et SUP sur le lac.

The Beckton Arms is a lovely pub nearby (~10 minute walk, 2 minute drive) with excellent service and lovely food. Lay-by has minimal reception for giffgaff network so best not to rely on having 4G. Was good for walking dog, wild swimming and SUP on the lake.

Das Beckton Arms ist ein hübscher Pub in der Nähe (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß, 2 Minuten mit dem Auto) mit ausgezeichnetem Service und gutem Essen. Lay-by hat nur minimalen Empfang für das Giffgaff-Netzwerk, daher ist es am besten, sich nicht auf 4G zu verlassen. War gut für Spaziergänge mit dem Hund, wildes Schwimmen und SUP auf dem See.

I can imagine it’s a good spot to stay for the day but big sign now saying no overnight parking july 2023. We did not stay.
vitudia14/05/2023Nice place but close to the road. Little further, after the first to the left, there is a small parking bay, as well next to the road but enclosed by some bushes.

Beautiful spot, no facilities and a lot of dog walkers. The lake looks nice and clean but signs saying no water activities at all. A fair amount of trucks delivering and picking up from the bonded warehouse across the other side of the lake. 5 mins walk to the lovely local pub - bring your salmon chinos to visit. Space for about 5 cars max.
