Nice free overnight parking right by river & park. No facilities but a decent spot. great for dog walking . close to town.
nomadsarewe07/07/2021I live close to this, it's handy for access to the town and lovely river walk. The car park is on a fairly steep slope so if you can't level out you're not going to be comfy. As it's close to the town you get a lot of night time activity. Lads with bags of cans kinda thing. I would use this more as a stop to do the river walk.
AleDianin17/09/2020I highly recommend and would come back but there are things to consider: it's a narrow entry so maybe not all campers would be able to park there. The car park is in a bit of a hill. You have an amazing walk beside and there's no height restrictions. I've heard some lads talking during the night, maybe drinking so keep everything really locked. Road is a bit noisy but for me it was fine.

Fab walk around boyne River. A lot of locals Co. ING and going for walk or jog. Busy road but felt safe
