There were no access barriers to the site.
Escale rapide mais très calme et beaucoup d'espace. Belle promenade avec les chiens Mise à jour août 2022 : maintenant parking pavé. L'accès se fait cependant par la route plus au nord via Sandport cl, sur le chemin il y a un panneau indiquant The Boathouse. De plus, la réserve naturelle du Loch Leven est là, les employés là-bas nous ont donné de l'eau du robinet (explicitement demandé de l'eau potable) et ont dit que nous pouvions passer la nuit mais strictement pour une seule nuit. Ils sont également heureux d'accepter des dons.
Quick stopover but very quiet and plenty of space. Nice walk with the dogs Update August 2022: Now paved parking lot. Access is however up the road further north via Sandport cl, on the way there is a sign saying The Boathouse. In addition, the Loch Leven Natural Reserve is here, the employees there gave us water from the tap (explicitly asked for drinking water) and said that we could stay overnight but strictly only for one night. They are also happy to accept donations.

Jetzt befestigter Parkplatz. Zufahrt ist aber die Straße weiter Nördlich, über Sandport cl, auf dem Weg dahin ist ein Schild "The Boathouse" .
Zudem ist das Loch Leven Natural Resere hier, die Mitarbeiter dort haben uns freundlichst Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn gegeben(explizit nach Trinkwasser gefragt) und meinten das gerne übernachtet werden kann aber strikte nur für eine Nacht regelung. Gerne nehmen sie dafür dann auch Spenden entgegen.

Area is under construction, so not as much space as in photo but still ok. Possibly housing being built so puts the future of this site into question.
mgzslad10/09/20205 min from motorway. Hard flat parking area. Very quite. Toilets April to October. Cafe but closed due to Covid. Fishing. Dog walking. Boat trips to island. Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned here. Relaxing.

Large flat car park next to Loch Leven marina and the start of the 13 mile path around the loch. Peaceful overnight, no restrictions and no trouble. 15 minute walk into centre of Kinross for supermarket, pubs, fish and chips etc. Swimming pool about 1mile away if you want a shower!
armand7417/04/2017Très jolie balade autour du lac. Environ 2h30 en vélo pour le tour complet. Grand parking. Nous y avons passé deux nuits sans souci. Par contre c'est juste un parking. Pas de service.

Nous y avons passé deux nuits, pas de problème. La journée du monde mais nous sommes le week-end de Pâques. Piste cyclable autour du lac, supérette et boulangerie à pied.
