Municipal parking for coaches and accessible to motorhomes. About 10 places for ACs but they really could fit more. Building with WC and store-cafeteria. Although it is expensive, it can be a good option to get closer to the center in AC. The free alternative is Sainsbury's parking: allow 2 hours.
Gute Parkmöglichkeiten für Wohnmobile und für einen Besuch in Canterbury. Liegt fast im Stadtzentrum, direkt hinter dem Parkplatz von Sainsbury. Kathedrale ca. 10'. Städtischer Parkplatz für Reisebusse und zugänglich für Wohnmobile. Ungefähr 10 Plätze für Klimaanlagen, aber es könnten wirklich mehr hineinpassen. Gebäude mit WC und Laden-Cafeteria. Obwohl es teuer ist, kann es eine gute Option sein, näher an das Zentrum von AC zu kommen. Die kostenlose Alternative ist das Parken in Sainsbury: 2 Stunden einplanen.
Buen aparcamiento para autocaravanas y para visitar Canterbury. Ubicado casi en el centro de la ciudad, justo detrás del estacionamiento de Sainsbury. Catedral a unos 10'. Aparcamiento municipal para autocares y accesible para autocaravanas. Alrededor de 10 lugares para aire acondicionado, pero realmente podrían caber más. Edificio con aseo y tienda-cafetería. Aunque es caro, puede ser una buena opción para acercarse al centro en AC. La alternativa gratuita es el aparcamiento de Sainsbury: espere 2 horas.

After returning from France, this is very underwhelming place. The UK needs to accommodate camper vans better! However, it is here and we are very grateful! We're British so we're used to it, but for foreign travellers,I think you'll be disappointed. No barrier, pay at machine,£15 12hrs. no services..Sainsburys next door. Good kebab house down the road. Thank you for this space!
We stonden hier enkele uurtjes om Canterbury te bezoeken op doortocht naar Dover. Parking op wandelafstand van centrum. Wellicht kan je hier rustig overnachten ook.
Parking très bien. Places des CC sont dans le fond près d’un mur d’une école. tarifs 8 livres pour 6hrs / 15 pour 12 hrs! Pas vu de restrictions pour stationnement de nuit. À proximité du centre, sentier pédestre pour rejoindre le centre-ville.
Quiet and friendly parking spot, just next to the city center. Very convenient location for visiting the town while still peaceful for an overnight stay.
Dieser Parkplatz ist so gut wie er beschrieben wurde, sehr zentral und in 10 Min zu Fuß zur Kathedrale. Ab 17:00 Uhr waren die letzten Reisebusse verschwunden und wir hatten den Platz für uns. Aufgrund der vorherigen Empfehlung waren wir im Millers Arms Pub und das Essen (wir hatten Fisch und Chips) war vorzüglich, der Preis etwas teurer aber die Portionen waren sehr groß, lecker und sehr frisch.

Großer Parkplatz hinter einem Supermarktparkplatz. Uns ist mitten in der Nacht ein junger Mann aufs Womo geklettert. Wir haben ihn angebrüllt und er ist weggelaufen. Es ist nichts passiert, dennoch ist das für uns kein sicherer Ort. Wir sind nach dem Vorfall auch weitergefahren.
Très bon endroit pour stationner, nous y avons passé une nuit au calme (pour info, les sanitaires sont fermés la nuit). Le supermarché à côté est très pratique, et le chemin qui mène au centre ville de Canterbury est vraiment agréable.
Great spot for an overnight stop close to Canterbury centre, it's a 10 minute walk. Sainsbury's next door and the Millers Arms pub close by which does great food and a banging pint of Guinness. The site itself is a coach park and up to 10pm was quite noisy. Cost, £15 for 12 hours which stings a bit if staying all day and overnight. Toilets were clean but the cafe is now closed.
Parking bien placé pour visiter la ville (moins de 10min à pied du centre). Lieu calme et sécurisant. En revanche, nous avons trouvé que 15£ la nuit pour un lieu sans service est trop cher. Les toilettes étaient fermées à notre arrivée a 20h, mais ouverte le matin et elles étaient propres !

As usual with most town places, can be a bit noisy at night with kids hanging around playing music. Good location though, we spent 1 night and it was OK. Note that the app doesn’t allow you to book with you’re registration number if you have a converted camper (ours is registered as a “motorhome” with the DVLA but still no luck) - you have to use the machine (but it does accept contactless)
passata qui la notte del 31.12.24 do solo 3 stelle per la totale assenza di servizi, a parte i bagni che non abbiamo usato. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la cittadina, molto carina. Eravamo gli unici, ma abbiamo passato una notte tranquilla. 15 £ per massimo 12 ore consentite.
Top pour visiter la ville à pied 5minutes par un chemin longeant une rivière. Grand magasin juste derrière avec un starbucks. J’y ai passé une nuit avec d’autres campeurs, un peu bruyant car c’était la soirée d’Halloween. Je pense qu’en autre temps ça doit être plus calme, toilettes sur place. Il y a une aire un peu plus loin qui a l’air super calme avec tout les services et à bon prix
Ruhig, zentral, eben, tagsüber Toiletten in der Nähe, superschöne Altstadt etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt, Supermarkt gegenüber, leider keine Entsorgung (-1 Stern). Wir waren zu Beginn der Reise (Nähe zu Dover) eine Nacht und am Ende der Reise zwei Nächte dort. Würde ih jederzeit wieder als Anlaufpunkt nehmen.
Parkplatz für Wohnmobile in der Stadt. Gut um eine nervige Parkplatzsuche zu vermeiden. In zehn Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt, Supermarkt direkt nebenan. Öffentliche Toiletten sauber und kostenlos. Parkgebühr lohnt sich.
Parking exclusivement pour bus de tourisme et CC, très facile pour visiter Canterbury, toilettes dispo et à côté d'un gros supermarché. Nous n'avons pas dormi et avons payé le forfait de 8£ pour 6h.
Good place to stop for 12 hours max, no camping and the council is very active on booking people sleeping here There are a few smaller car parks what you can stay over night which are cheaper, but only for the small camper vans and mobile homes
très bien placé pour visiter. toilettes fermées à partir de 18h. faites bien attention à payer les tickets pour la bonne durée si vous dormez sur place : un agent contrôle et verbalise (des camper vans ou des motor homes se sont vus apposer une amende dès le matin).

Guter Parkplatz um Canterbury zu besichtigen und dort zu übernachten. Altstadt und Kathedrale sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Höchst Parkdauer beträgt 12 Std und kostet 15 Pfund. Das passte jetzt bei uns nicht so dolle. Toiletten habe ich jetzt hier am Abend keine gefunden, da diese hinter einem abgeschlossenen Rolltor waren. Dafür gabs aber einen großen Supermarkt.
Guter Ausgangspunkt um die sehr sehenswerte Kathedrale (10 Min.) und die nette Altstadt zu besuchen. Der Platz für die Womos ist noch den Bussen vorbei an der Mauer. Man steht geschützt und kann sorglos zum Sightseeing aufbrechen.

Sehr großer, in der Nacht angenehm ruhiger Parkplatz. In direkter Nähe zu einem großen Supermarkt, Möglichkeit besteht den Einkaufswagen bis zum Womo mitzunehmen.
La ubicacion es bueno, pero con tarjeta nos resultadó imposible pagar menos de 15GBP. nos dejaron un ticket y visitamos la ciudad. en la salida ha un área por 3,5GBP 24 h y te incluye bus para 6 personas.
