Parking at a restaurant right on the fjord with a great view. You can stay overnight for free, if you eat dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant is located in a former fish factory and also offers breakfast for campers. Currently, no services are available, but the owner plans to add basics like electricity over the next 12 months.

Return to peace, fjord views, fishing and quiet nature. Price per night: 25 EUR or 2 bottles of red wine.. You may choose what is cheaper for you. The owner is a red wine collector, so both currencies are welcome. ;-) Radfjord Motorhome Parking is a private and peaceful motorhome spot with panoramic fjord views, only 6 minutes from the E39 and just 32 minutes from Bryggen in Bergen. Many guests arrive for one night and end up staying two: one day to explore Bergen, and one evening to enjoy the fjord, fishing, the view and the quiet atmosphere. This is a simple, private place in nature, not a busy roadside parking area. Here you can wake up with morning light over the Radfjord, drink your coffee outside, listen to the birds and enjoy a calm Norwegian fjord landscape. Each pitch has its own wooden deck, perfect for placing chairs and a table next to your camper. Guests also have access to the shared Dome, with tables and chairs, a comfortable place to eat, relax or meet other travellers on rainy or windy days. Bergen is easy to visit from here. The bus stop is only about 400 meters from the camp. You can leave your motorhome safely at the fjord and go to Bergen by bus, or combine bus and express catamaran for a small “mini cruise” into Bergen harbour. This makes the place ideal as a quiet base for visiting Bergen without driving your camper into the city. There are also great local activities nearby: fishing by the fjord, a short hike to Gaustadfjellet, free canoe rental at Storavatnet about 2 km away, and beautiful small-road driving routes toward Osterfjord, Modalen and Flåm. Upon arrival, simply park in the first available space, then call or send a WhatsApp message. The owner will eventually appear, like a fjord spirit. ;-) Radfjord Motorhome Parking is for travellers who want the best of both worlds: easy access to Bergen, but with peace, space, nature and real fjord views. Here, your motorhome is not just parked. It becomes your own little cabin on wheels by the fjord.

Mindemyren is a new RV parking lot in Bergen, about 7 minutes from the city centre by light rail. All 41 parking spaces at Mindemyren Bobilparkering are reserved for RVs. The parking lot was renovated and re-opened in July 2025, with added services such as waste management and recycling stations.
