Lovely spot with great views but locals turned up around 8pm and set fireworks within 2m of our van for over 2 hours. Even when car park was empty. Lovely spot but didn’t feel safe so left to find somewhere else.

East Lomond car park, fantastic views, and a peaceful park up. Room for a maximum of 5 vans allowed over night. Toilets open 10am to 6pm in summer and 10am to 4pm in autumn. Bins and BBQ disposal.
Ein toller Parkplatz mitten im Grünen, umgeben von Wiesen und Feldern. Der Parkplatz ist mit Sitzbänken und Mülleimer ausgestattet. Toiletten sind vorhanden und zu variierenden Uhrzeiten geöffnet. Es gibt unzählige Stellplätze, die alle sehr gerade sind. Die Straße zum Platz ist grundsätzlich, bis auf einige Schlaglöcher, gut ausgebaut und somit ist er wahrscheinlich für fast alle Fahrzeugtypen gut zu erreichen.

Went on Saturday night, busy with cars and loud music. I can’t say I would recommend it due to this.
jbell21303/08/2025Great views from this park up, is fairly busy with walkers during the day and young drivers at night, but the views make up for that, I got lucky that no one was overly noisy, stayed the one night, toilets open and a lovely walk up east lomond hill.

Lovely view. Not a nice place to stay for young drivers rallying cars round car park all hours of the night. Then rudely woken at 5 am by older gentleman in van doing wheel spins past my van. Wont be back. no payment facilities

Nicht zu empfehlen, nachts kommt und geht ein Auto nach dem anderen. Damit es nicht kalt wird muss natürlich das Auto laufen gelassen werden. Somit dauerhaft Motorengeräusche. Mit Dachzelt keine wirkliche Ruhe möglich. Aussicht ansich ist super.
CrowleyTheVan19/06/2025Sehr schöner Platz zum rasten oder übernachten. Wir hatten hier eine ruhige Nacht und haben früh noch die Bänke genutzt um zu frühstücken. Es gibt wie gesagt nur noch eine Kasse wo man Bargeld reinstecken kann. Die Landschaft lädt auch zum wandern ein. Wir würden hier definitiv nochmal schlafen.

Très belle vue sur la vallée. 10£ la nuit, il y a une boîte sur un panneau. Attention, pas de toilettes après 18h !

Love this spot. 3 vans there when I went last weekend on a beautiful Friday evening. There wasn’t a payment kiosk, so was free. I think 5 or 6 bays for overnights. Lovely views and benches. Nice trails for wee wanders or longer walks too.

Great location with views to match, unless it’s foggy. Good nights sleep once the cars with loud music left about 2200hrs, just the youth having fun they caused us no bother. Will be back and hope for no fog. Pay machine has been removed and no donation box installed yet. The BBQ disposal bin is a great idea to stop fires in the normal bins.

Aire très propre, avec WC. Vue imprenable (beaucoup de vent en revanche). Petit bémol : il y a des portions de route pour y monter qui sont pleines de nid de poule (trous), ce qui rend un peu compliqué l'accès avec un gros camping car.

Fantastic nights sleep in a beautiful location. Lots of walks straight from the car park. views across Fife, the Forth and beyond. Toilets are spotless, plenty of bins and bbq disposal bin. Fife has so many brilliant park ups to offer! Worth every penny in my opinion.

Sehr entspannt und ruhig die Nacht verbracht! Die Toiletten waren auch sehr sauber und früher geöffnet als angegeben. Tipptopp

Emplacement bien délimité, toilettes propres à proximité, jolie vue avec balade, calme (voitures de quelques riverains le soir mais non gênant). Route d accès étroite mais ça passe

Lieu tranquille et silencieux avec une belle vue par temps dégagé. des promeneurs le matin qui ne nous ont pas dérangés et certains jeunes qui passent en voiture le soir mais qui restent enfermés dedans silencieusement. prix de la nuit à 10£. les toilettes sont fermées la nuit.

Great views and flat level spot to camp. Nice for walking our dog and a MTB ride. Downside is cars still coming into carpark after midnight (and parking right next to our van not at the other end of carpark which was empty - of course !) and slamming doors and first dog walker with yapping dogs at 5.30am so not the best sleep even with earplugs and this was a monday night not weekend.
JasonTransporter26/06/20235 flat designated overnight bays make this a good overnight stopover point with stunning views out over Fife and to sea. £10 overnight parking charge. Public loos locked 6pm to 10am which was a bit inconvenient. A few local dog walkers and local couples in car late night but it felt a quiet safe spot.

Super Platz mit toller Aussicht. Toiletten sind einfach, aber sauber. Picknickbänke direkt am Platz. Der Platz kostet mittlerweile 10 Pfund pro Nacht. Der Automat war allerdings defekt.

Splendide vu à 360 degrés , Hyper calme, poubelle et wc, Banc pour admirer la vue, nombreux chemins de rando et balade pour chien, un peu venteux. Quelques locaux jeunes et moins jeunes viennent ici le soir et le matin. lieux propre. Nous avons adorés.

Great spot with a great view. Stayed here on a Sunday night so hardly any people at all except for the odd dogwalker. Windy enough, that we had no midges

Large area, quite busy though after dark (not with other campers but groups of youths). Saying that it was really quiet once we went to bed. Agree with the other comments about potholes on the road leading to the site.

Lovely views and quite level lower down the car park. People started to come into the carpark from about 7:30am for walks. Was quite windy when we arrived (no midges!) but wasnt too bad. Quiet nights sleep with exception to the plonker doing (pretty poor) handbrake turns at about 11:30pm. Toilet block just outside the carpark which is clean but had no sinks. Overall, would stay again.

A great spot but maybe give it a miss on a Thursday thru Saturday. Just checked it out and at about 9pm small hatch back cars started appearing. If we were in Australia or NZ we’d just laugh because these are grannie cars but apparently these wee things are cool in the UK and popular with the young ‘uns!!

Arrived late, plenty space for parking, ideal place for walking the dog. Great views. Beware POTHOLES we arrived late not so easy to miss them in the dark Would definitely recommend

Die Strasse hat teilweise grosse Schlaglöcher, langsam fahren und aufpassen. Die Toiletten sind wegen Covid19 geschlossen. Aussicht und Platz sind toll und in der Nacht absolut ruhig, ausser die Windgeräusche...

Les locaux viennent pour s'alcooliser dans leurs voitures, en écoutant de la musique avec un sound System. Comme il y avait de plus en plus de voitures arrivant à partir de 00h, on a préféré partir. On ne s'est pas senti en sécurité du tout. Dommage, le spot était sympa.

nuitée en Avril. Très bel endroit, il faut mériter cet emplacement (route étroite). On a eu du vent ça a secoué le camping car. Réveil au calme dans le brouillard, super sympa.

Lots of space for cars and vans. There were around 10 other vehicles, but I totally understand why. Very nice view. There is also a toilet available.

Ein großer Parkplatz mit toller Aussicht. Am Abend waren einige Jugendliche hier, in der Nacht und am Morgen waren wir jedoch komplett alleine. Die Toiletten waren geschlossen als wir hier waren.

Très bel endroit, avec une vue magnifique. Des poubelles et des toilettes sont à disposition. Point de départ de randonnées. Du passage en journée, mais très calme la nuit. Exposé au vent, donc pas de midges.
