Good place to park up. Some longer spaces at the end furthest away from the Iron Bridge. Level and direct access to the Severn Way path

  • 5/5

This is a great parkup very quiet thru the night we are in 7 meter van so took one of the space towards exit and hanged over verge no problem Nice bar behind carpark and an amazing Indian in the village going for the best pork pie from Eleys it's a free park from 6pm till 10am we just paid £5 for morning parkup you can't go wrong amazing view for us of church and trees in the fall

  • 5/5

Great park up, arrived a out 1.30pm paid £4 to cover parking till 5pm, free after that. Had a lovely circular walk down the Severn way down to Coalport and back up to Ironbridge. We ate at the Tapas place which was average at best, but then we were spoilt in Cadiz and Seville earlier in year. Night was quiet and trouble free, a little road noise in morning but nothing to complain about.

  • 5/5

Great spot, very quiet, right next to the bridge. Recommend both the tapas (from a previous visit) and the chippy for a much needed, couldn’t be bothered to cook, tea this evening

  • 5/5

Decent park up. It was a quiet night for us on a Sunday. Lots of good dog walking and the public toilets 2 minutes walk over the bridge are open overnight. Would recommend!

  • 5/5

Staying overnight in my 6.4m Fiat Ducati camper. There are a few spaces next to the motorcycle spots where I can overhang at the rear to keep my nose just in the bay - perfect! Probably no bigger vans will fit... I can confirm still free 5pm till 10am, then £1 per hour up to 5 hours, £6 for 6 hours up to the day. Can pay through MiPay app with no added surcharge. I can't rate it highly enough.

We spent the a night here Saturday 23rd August ( bank holiday. Weekend). It’s a nice flat car park and we had a very quiet night .free after 5pm until 10am next day. Everything you need close by a short walk into Ironbridge.

  • 4/5

Great location for Ironbridge. Largish car park. No facilities. On the night we were here boy racers were playing but I guess we were unlucky.

  • 5/5

I’ve stayed here a couple of times now always quiet lovely little spot. This is the first time I’m the only van/motorhome here.

  • 5/5

we stayed last week 19th march 2025 parking is £6 all day from 00.01 to 23.59hrs there is an addition sign so be warned

  • 5/5

Great park up and free from 5pm to 10am as previously stated. Explored Ironbridge and walked along the river. And spent some money on local eats and drinks.

  • 5/5

Stayed one night in Jan. No noise at all during the night. Location great, just over bridge into town and toilets ( not sure what time they opened but were open at 0900 when we went). Good dog walks from carpark. We are 7.5m and only found a couple of days that we wouldn't overhang which were near the coach bays. Signage says you must fit into a bay although we didn't see anyone to enforce etc.

  • 5/5

Large car park with plenty of space. No facilities but two mins over bridge into the town with pubs, toilets and cafes. Lovely walks and industrial museums to visit. Stayed over New Year but nice and quiet.

  • 5/5

Great overnight park up. Close to town and nice dog walking/running along the old railway line. No services but there are toilets a couple of minutes walk over the bridge. No charge between 5pm & 10am, plenty of space, and a few vans parked up so obviously a popular spot.

  • 5/5

Easy park up for the night. It’s Saturday night but no noise. Lovely walks and great historic village.

  • 5/5

Een heerlijke plek om te overnachten. Zeer veilig. Niet druk. Groot terrein. Ruim toegankelijk voor campers. Unesco werelderfgoed prachtig plaatsje. De beroemde eerste gietijzeren brug ter wereld op wandelafstand. Veel bezienswaardigheden en winkels in de buurt.

  • 5/5

Perfect park up. Close to Ironbridge shops and facilities. Quiet night. Plenty of space. Few other vans parked at the bridge end. We parked at the coach bay end as there was more room.

  • 4/5

I've just had 2 nights here. first night on the Sunday was really peaceful. the Monday was also really peaceful once the boy racers went at about half 8. they didn't cause us any issues, but they all parked at the side of our van. excellent location to explore all the irion bridge sites within walking distance. will be using it again when in the area. 4g signal, toilets just over the bridge.

I've stayed here in my campervan for the last 3 nights, Thursday night to Sunday morning, and found it to be a great place to park. It was very quiet at night, no anti social behaviour etc. I think someone mentioned that it's not lit at night, but it is. It's free between 5pm and 10am and it's now £6 to park for the whole day. As a solo lady staying here, I felt very safe.

  • 3/5

Big carpark but gets busy (Sunday). £3 for 4hrs, £4 all day. Charges apply from 10.00 to 17.00. Parking wardens were happy for us to stay overnight, but recommend not to..there's no cctv or lighting! He also said it can be prone to anti social behaviour- boy racers/motor bikes etc. He said he has a campervan and wouldn't overnight here. He suggested alternatives, so we moved to Bedlam Furnaces

  • 5/5

Great place to park. Free from 6pm to 10am. Very quiet and central location with pubs/bars and restaurant close by. Public toilets a short walk away too.

  • 5/5

Great park up.been here before and it great, lots of space for mid size vans not sure on the larger vans as the drive in has a nasty right turn which can be a surprise if you are not aware of it but I think, it’s always good to get here after 5 o’clock as it’s free till the next day. Excellent amenities with shops and toilets just over the famous bridge.

  • 3/5

Vorsicht, für Wohnmobile ist die Zufahrt zu eng. Vans haben vielleicht eine Chance ...

  • 4/5

Overnight parking is allowed, we spoke to the NEO from the council, they were very polite and helpful. Ensure you use a longer bay near the exit on the right before the coach bays and park between the lines, overhanging seemed to be ok they directed a 7.3m moho in to one of these bays. They did ticket a moho in a coach bay even with a coach ticket, makes sense. Very quiet night, Great village

  • 5/5

Loverly place to park and free overnight,2 minute walk into town from here

  • 5/5

parked overnight . great spot and so very quiet.

  • 4/5

Great carpark which is free to use after a certain time. We paid £2 for a few hours during the day and stayed overnight with no problems. Lots of joggers in the morning as it’s along an old railway route. Couple of other campers there and felt 100% safe.

  • 4/5

Busy during day but quiet at night, no signage referring to overnight parking for motorhomes.

  • 5/5

Stayed on a Saturday night, car park half full of people parking for hotel/restaurants. Not much noise or disturbance though as we were both asleep by 10 and slept right through. Perfect for walking over the bridge in the morning for a cafe breakfast.

  • 5/5

Stayed Saturday night, no cost, heard a few voices as people left restaurant next door to car park but otherwise very quiet. Located next to English Heritage site of Ironbridge, with a short walk across the beautiful bridge the next morning for a coffee and famous pork pies!

  • 5/5

Great location with views over the iron bridge. Great for vehicles up to about 6m

  • 5/5

Car park quite busy but free for parking due to recent floods. No problems at all. Stayed two days. Close to town and toilets. No water available. Overlooking the Ironbridge.

  • 5/5

Super easy location within walking distance of Ironbridge and all the points of interest. Would recommend the Swan pub which is also a smoke house- food great! Spot quiet and seems popular with other campers (4 of us when we stayed).

  • 4/5

Stayed here 31st Jan. unfortunately the water board are doing some major work so there was a generator running all night. Not a real problem much like background noise at a festival. Plenty of space and will use again.

  • 5/5

Great place to stop. Just over the bridge from the main highstreet. No toilets at this carpark but there are toilets a short walk away at a short stay carpark in the town which were open from at least 8.30 on a Bank Holiday.

  • 3/5

Great view overlooking the river and the iron bridge

  • 5/5

Nice spot, arrived after 5pm, parked up and walked over the bridge for dinner and a couple of cocktails at Cleo's. We weren't distubed and there was minimal road noise.

  • 5/5

No facilities, but a perfect place to visit Ironbridge and nearby towns. It's a well known place cos when we went there were 6 other motorhomes/vans. Cheap during the day and free at night.
