idéal pour visiter Aberdeen bcp de passage tard et dès 6h il a bien dépanné pour une nuit.
Parking en contre bas de l’esplanade beaucoup plus calme la nuit. En limite du terrain de golf. La ville 30 mn à pied jusqu’au centre. Gros camping-car sans problème.
Parking down the esplanade much quieter at night. On the edge of the golf course. The city 30 minutes walk to the center. Big camping car without problem.
Parken unterhalb der Esplanade nachts viel ruhiger. Am Rande des Golfplatzes. Die Stadt 30 Minuten zu Fuß zum Zentrum. Großes Wohnmobil kein Problem.

Overnight stay with 4/5 other vans parked up. Quiet during the night but by 8am there’s lots of cars coming and going quite fast on the small road in front of the parking. Looks like the better camp spot is down on the Esplanade near Footdee. There were lots of vans parked there when we drove down in the morning and it’s a dead end.

Grand parking gratuit, proche de la ville et de la plage, grand espace pour lâcher les chiens Par contre, c'est un raccourci entre la ville et la plage, donc énormément de passage, surtout le matin OK pour la journée, mais il y a d'autres parkings gratuits plus adaptés autour pour passer une nuit tranquille

klaromatik07/12/2023Très bon spot, calme si ce n'est quelques allers et venues de gens venant promener leurs chiens. Toilettes publiques ouvertes en journée, 20p en cash uniquement (ne rend pas la monnaie et pas de commerce à proximité, donc prévoir à l'avance !). Pas d'horaires indiquées pour les toilettes, elles étaient fermées à notre arrivée vers 19:00 mais ouvertes ce matin à 8:30.
stinger7631/07/2023très bon emplacement même pour les très gros campings cars, une poubelle à dispo. calme la nuit. proche de la plage et de beaucoup de resto la ville se fait à pied facilement

I'd recommend going for this park on Accomodation Road instead of parking right on the esplanade. This park is quieter (though still some traffic), more sheltered from the wind, and more popular with other campers. There's a rubbish bin, but no other facilities. Fine for a night!
Julia_Stefan26/08/2022Für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Man hört die Autos von der Straße allerdings war es für uns völlig in Okay. Man kann an der Promenade super spazieren oder an dem Strand eine Runde baden gehen. Man läuft ca 30min ins Stadt Zentrum. Unser Wohnmobil misst 8x3m.

All right for a night, ralatively quiet after 10pm. I was the only one here over night. Police drove by this morning, it was clear I was here for the night, they didn't stop so it must be ok. I added a couple of pics, looks different from the first one, but it's the same spot on the map.
joannawood06/06/2022Much quieter spot than the main promenade area. Sorry forgot to add another photo but is a much nicer area than the one photo currently on here. A Layby area that can easily fit about a dozen vehicles. No problem for long vehicles either. Short walk to the beach and green fields around ideal for walking dogs

Quiet place to park and toilets within walking distance (not open 24 hours). Not the prettiest place to park but quieter than on esplanade. Most vans we saw were parked on esplanade and they will have had a sea view.

Seagulls make mess at bucket supplied by council few passersby comments to direct at any overnight stayers. tip take photo of mess when you arrive with seagulls at the bucket incase any smarty pants have a go at you. Beach walk few seconds away great place to watch all the ships go out on their journey. if you watch or play golf great view for spectating. no problems very quiet.
