thebiohackervan04/08/2025Great little spot, space for enough vans but we were the only ones there. You are next to the river and picnic area with bunnies hopping around in the evening. 5 min walk from public toilets, open from 9-15:30. We had an extremely quiet night, but were woken by the car of the guys who cleaned the litter bins. Didn’t need our levelers. Would definetely stay again

nice wee bit for a stopover good walks along the river side and easy access to to pubs and take aways

Really struggled with length of lwb sprinter so recommend arriving late to get a space that isn't blocking anyone. my van WiFi has no signal (lebera) and ID mobile signal isn't great so may have to move as working tomorrow. Fab for dog. slightly sloped but not an issue. haven't even used my levelers.

Coming and going of dog walkers, but otherwise nice and quiet. Parking spaces might be too small for bigger campers.

left the car parked for 4 days while doing the Cateran Trail 1st night slept there very quiet once the dog walkers had gone 2 other campervans there slept there on last night and again very quiet except the bird and river noise flowing by highly recommend as long as you are in nothing bigger than a long wheel base transit size vehicle otherwise you will stick out into the carpark to much.

Relatively calm, but a couple of youths and kids hung out nearby and a car or two playing music a bit later. There was another campervan there too though. Not a favorite but alright. Dogwalkers and more cars in the morning.

Très bel endroit, très calme. Nous y avons passé une excellente nuit. Merci aux locaux de nous accepter ! Il faut préserver cet endroit.

Super endroit, calme et paisible. Adapté aux petits comme aux grands. Espace jeux idéal (attention aux plus petits, la rivière n'est vraiment pas loin). Parfait pour pique-niquer, dormir ou passer un bon moment. Je recommande.

A nice spot. Couldn’t see any signs that indicated how long you could stay for or if overnight parking was allowed, but there was one other van staying over so it felt safe. A couple of cars playing loud music turned up fairly early on in the night but I slept peacefully from about 10pm.

C'est vraiment tranquille. Aucun bruit après le départ des promeneurs à la nuit tombée. Pas l'impression d'être proche d'une ville. Le matin quelques promeneurs de chiens mais ça reste très calme. Belle promenade le long de la rivière.

Nuit très calme au bord de la rivière, nous étions seuls sur le parking la nuit. Le matin il y avait juste quelques promeneurs avec leurs chiens. Proche des différentes commodités de la ville.

a quiet night after the car park cleared. the bays are pretty tight if you do have a larger camper and arrive before others leave. pretty river walk and kids play area.

Hatten eine nette Nacht auf dem kostenlosen Parkplatz. Hier und da waren ein paar Jugendliche, welche uns nicht gestört haben. Der Parkplatz wird von den Einheimischen frequentiert und ist sehr Citynah.

Nuit assez calme, même si beaucoup de locaux viennent s’y promener. Le matin le parking était plein. Très bien pour les enfants avec le parc juste à côté.

Un petit parking urbain mais à l'écart du village tout de même. Très calme, au bord de la rivière, en compagnie des canards. Village agréable et commerçants charmants, mention spéciale à l'antiquaire du centre ville. N'hésitez pas...

we chose this place because it has playground as we travel with baby. but a lot of cars with dogs are coming evening and early morning so its quit frequent. also evening and at night is popular place for teenagers and lovers with cars and with engine on not so much recommended

Sehr gute Empfehlung. Es war hier sehr ruhig und wir hatten eine angenehme Nacht. Mülleimer, Sitzgruppen und ein Spielplatz sind vorhanden. Auch Platz für größere Wohnmobile.

Very quiet. No other motorhomes here. Quiet dog walkers. Lovely riverside walk. Spotted an otter in the river. Local pub and shops within 2 minute walk. Tesco superstore nearby. Lovely place to stay. Would return.

Very nice, quiet night but.... avoid Monday nights. Tuesday seems to be early morning grass cutting day!! Good WiFi and TV reception.

Lovely spot on the edge of the town. But it seems to be a popular hang out for local teenagers who stayed until late smoking and drinking on the picnic benches (although were relatively well behaved). And prepare to be woken by the bin men and a VERY LOUD street cleaning vehicle at 0630! Despite those things I had a good stay here for one night. No facilities but 5 min walk into town.
