il est tout à fait possible de se parquer dans ce parking avec un camping-car il faut suivre les indications sur le dessin en rouge
TRÈS IMPORTANT ! Le site web du parc-relais de Trumpington et les panneaux à l'arrivée indiquent une hauteur maximale de 2,1 mètres. Or, c'est FAUX : vous pouvez garer votre camping-car quelle que soit sa taille. À votre arrivée, ignorez les panneaux de hauteur, dirigez-vous vers la deuxième entrée et appuyez sur l'interphone. La barrière s'ouvrira et vous pourrez vous garer sur l'aire de stationnement sans limite de hauteur. Stationnement de nuit interdit.
Excellent vide-grenier le dimanche matin. Arrivez tôt à 6 h 30 pour profiter des bonnes affaires.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! The website for this Park and Ride at Trumpington, AND the signs upon arrival say maximum height is 2.1 metres. However this is WRONG, you can park any height Motorhome. When you arrive ignore height signs, go to 2nd entrance and press intercom buzzer. They will open barrier and you can park in no height restrictions Motorhome area. No overnight parking .
Has an excellent car boot sale most Sunday mornings. Arrive early 06:30 to get bargins.

SEHR WICHTIG!!!!! Auf der Website dieses Park-and-Ride-Parkplatzes in Trumpington und auf den Schildern bei der Ankunft steht eine maximale Höhe von 2,1 Metern. Das ist jedoch FALSCH. Sie können Wohnmobile jeder Höhe parken. Ignorieren Sie bei Ihrer Ankunft die Höhenschilder, gehen Sie zum zweiten Eingang und drücken Sie die Sprechanlage. Die Schranke öffnet sich und Sie können im Wohnmobilbereich ohne Höhenbeschränkung parken. Kein Übernachtparken.
An den meisten Sonntagmorgen findet ein toller Flohmarkt statt. Kommen Sie früh um 6:30 Uhr, um Schnäppchen zu machen.

thegandalf12/08/2025Die Höhenbeschränkung kann umgangen werden mit einer extra Einfahrt. Ist beschildert. Bei uns war mehrfach keiner erreichbar. Wir haben dann den Parkplatz an der Straße in der Nähe genutzt. P+R hat sehr gut funktioniert.

Alles hat super funktioniert. Am äußersten Ende des Platzes war genug frei. Bei der Ausfahrt mussten wir ein paar mal klingeln. Sind aber ohne weitere Probleme vom Platz gekommen. Tolle Sache! DANKE.

Bei der Anfahrt zum Parkplatz die Busspur nehmen und dann die Ausfahrt (ich meine die Dritte) nehmen. Es gibt ein ein Hinweisschild für 'große Fahrzeuge'. An der Schranke befindet sich dann die Gegensprechanlage. Es wird sofort geöffnet. Wie schon beschrieben muss man bis 18:20 Uhr wieder wegfahren. Wir haben für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder (6 4) 3,50£ für die Hin- und Rückfahrt bezahlt.

Easy to find just go past the height barrier entrance and around the back to the intercom barrier and they will let you in. No overnight parking and when we arrived it was busy and the section designated for Motorhomes was full of cars so we d try I’ve over to the back and parked across two car bays with no problem. Park & Ride bus fare to Cambridge town centre was £3.50 per adult

Use the intercom on the second entrance and you can get in. Make sure to leave before 18:20. Parking is free. You pay for the bus to the city (3.5£ each person)

Used this yesterday. Take the next turning on the roundabout after the normal entrance. Use the intercom - they will let you in. We were directed to the far end of the park, not to a motorhome-specific area. Acres of space to park in. Be careful of low tree branches. When leaving use the exit next to where you entered and use intercom. Don't use the normal car exit - this has a height barrier.
MaxSwin19/10/2021Called and spoke to Park and Ride... They haven't taken motorhomes for 2 years. so unless you fit under 2.1 barrier and fit into a normal parking space don't bother.

Tried to use the park and ride. Designated campervan spaces occupied by cars. Remainder of spaces way to tight for motorhomes. Free parking so probably not policed. Maybe have to be here before the commuters.

Très bien pour visiter Cambridge. un peu compliqué pour trouver l'entrée CC. Quand vous êtes devant l'entrée principale avec les portiques à 2m, suivre les panneaux "John Lewis". 100m plus loin sur la gauche il y a les barrières. Sonnez à P and R. suivre le fléchage Campervan.

Parfait pour visiter Cambridge. Pour rentrer il faut en effet passer à droite et sonner pour que la barrière s'ouvre. Le bus est à 3 livres.
