sehr schöner Campingplatz! Passt perfekt zu Schottland und vermittelt die Nähe zur Natur. wir waren 2 Nächte auf der Durchreise (vorallem zum Wäsche waschen) hier und waren sehr zufrieden.

Good wee campsite very clean. Reasonable priced. Takeaway food only part that could’ve been a lot better.

best campsite we have been too. incredible views, clean, everything you. would want from showers to shop to park and bike ramp for kids. so spaced out that you can keep away from kids if that's what you need too. sand dunes create cute lil area for tents to sheild from wind too. would be regulars if didn't live so far away!

Great site with plenty of room. Clean facilities and a lot of effort has been put into the upkeep of the pitches. Great shop and wee restaurant on site too.

Super camping ! Immense et au bord de la mer. Tout est disponible pour les vans, eaux noires eaux usées et un tuyau pour recharger en eau propre. Il y a un café sur place, nous y avons pris le petit dej et avons mangé le soir. Très bon et très pratique.

Fantastic placed site, all the amenities you could need and all very well looked after, pitch sizes are massive and being able to pitch anywhere with great views all round very dog friendly and family oriented, £28 pn with no ehu

Great place which is large for a site. Plenty of space around your own pitch (7m minimum, bakery, shops, café with evening meals (takeaway too) available and a beautiful beach. Facilities were very modern and clean. We decided to move pitch last second which was not a problem and it was a quiet and peaceful night. We had no phone signal on Vodafone or 3. Wifi available in certain locations.

Marvelous place. Beach is perfect, place and services also. Only one minus: all other campings now seem mediocre when compared to this one?

Great campsite, the site itself is absolutely massive, plenty of places to tuck behind a sand dune if you have a pop top, loads of dogs were there when we were making use of the beach, nice stop off on the NC500

Magnifique camping, très vaste, vous choisissez votre pitch! Sol dur ou herbe et même emplacement entre les dunes ! Les installations sont exceptionnelles, l'eau chaude à toute heure ! Jeux pour enfants, épicerie, bar, restaurant! Je reviendrai bientôt

Great site, can pick your own spot if in camper or tent either on hard stranding or in the large dunes out of the wind. Massive beach. Brilliant, clean, warm, modern everything you need.. Even for a mother and boby toddler shower cubical, Hairdryer.. Hand dryer, electric sockets.. Fab well done this site.. Highly recommend.. (and not so expensive as some close by competitors..!

Haven’t stayed here for 5 years but it’s still the best campsite we have ever stayed at ! There are lots of new designated hard standings but we like the very relaxed attitude to choosing your own area. They have created some new non-electric pitches in the dunes that are a brilliant addition. Also a new additional toilet and shower block and drive over grey dump with black waste and water fill.

What a beautiful campsite. A well stocked shop great restaurant and very friendly staff. The pitches are large and well spaced out with great views and an amazing beach. The facilities are amazingly clean and I really can’t fault this campsite so much so we booked a second night.

super schöner Naturcamping.. alles vorhanden. Platz konnten wir frei wählen. 1Nacht 2Pers. mit Strom 34 Pfund Strand weitläufig,viele Hunde wer das stört eher nicht.

Einfach nur herrlich! Wir konnten uns aussuchen, wo wir stehen und sind spontan länger geblieben. Der Strand ist ein Traum und von etwas weiter oben hat man einen echt genialen Ausblick mit fantastischen Sonnenuntergängen.

Fantastic campsite with a huge variety of pitches. Can choose shelter behind the dunes( we had a gale) or open pitches with spectacular views. Good facilities and an excellent shop. £33 per night with electric, 2 adults and a dog. Local walk information v good, and a big warm room you can shelter or cook in. Inverewe gardens at poolewe 15 mins away, good for a visit, view of loch maree on the way.

Toller Campingplatz direkt am Strand. Wir haben vorher online gebucht und konnten dann um 21 Uhr einfach reinfahren, da das Kennzeichen erkannt wurde. Wir haben eine ruhige Nacht hier verbracht und lecker im Café gefrühstückt.

sehr schöner Campingplatz, mit freier Platzwahl, zwischen den Dünen gelegen. Teilweise Wind geschützt. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr modern und funktionieren gut. Es hat eine Küche wo man zusammensitzen kann und ein Restaurant, dort sollte man allerdings frühzeitig reservieren ansonsten kann man abends nebenan etwas zu Essen bestellen und mitnehmen.

It’s a very impressive place. A lot of space and freedom. Very friendly and not imposing staff. Toilets, showers, laundry, camper service area - everything absolutely top at the very reasonable price. View from the beach as a perfect bonus.

Mit großem Abstand der absolut schönste Campingplatz auf dem wir je waren! Die Sanitäranlagen sind nagelneu und richtig toll. Freie Platzwahl, teilweise zwischen den Dünen und teilweise windgeschützt. Der Ausblick aufs Meer ist fantastisch! Der Strand ist super schön und läd zu ausgiebigen Strandspaziergängen ein. Hier würde ich immer wieder herfahren! Preis-Leistung absolut top!!!

Fantastic site, easy check in and if you’re happy with no electric you can pick your own pitch on the dunes. Loads of space and nice facilities

Ein ganz toller Campingplatz in den Dünen. Wir konnten den Platz frei wählen. Es gibt einige Sanitärhäuser auf dem Platz, so dass die Wege nicht weit waren. Alles war sauber. Waschmaschinen und Trockner sind auch vorhanden. Das Café/Restaurant am Platz war auch super. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent site, great location with stunning views and easy access to sandy beach. Superb modern clean showers and toilets. Well stocked shop and on site cafe and pizza/burger bar take away. Large spacious choose your own pitches.

Riesiger Platz direkt am Strand in den Dünen. Shop, Restaurant, Take away, neue Sanitäreinrichtungen, Spielplatz, ausgewiesene Gassirunde - alles vorhanden.

Absolut bester Platz bis jetzt in Schottland. Riesengross und die grosszügigsten Stellplätze die ich je gesehen habe. Man muss mindestens 7m Abstand zum Nächsten haben. Moderne Sanitäranlagen. 4 Waschmaschinen und grosse Tumbler. Restaurant, Laden. Einfach alles was man Braucht. Für mich mit Campervan 25.-£ inkl. Strom. Hab auf 3 Nächte verlängert.

endroit très venté, les sanitaires sont très beau mais le ménage laisse à désirer, lorsque l'on passe juste après l'homme de ménage cela sent encore plus l'urine qu'avant son passage. Sinon le cadre est sympa, et les midges sont bien présents.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay! Would recommend it to anyone! Whether you’re a couple, family or even alone: it’s perfect. The views from our pitch were breathtaking. I loved the idea of choosing our own pitch depending on what you fancied. Lots of hiking spots to visit. The beach was sandy with minimal rocks. There was quite a few jelly fish so please be aware of that. The perfect getaway.

Easy to find and only 10 minutes from the harbour. This is a very well run campsite catering for anyone interested in stopping overnight in any fashion. EHU is plentiful but not all on hard footing. Plenty of amenities for kids and adults, great shopping, cleaning of all types and lots of fresh drinking water points. It’s a large area and does get very busy so worth calling ahead.

We arrived after 6pm and the reception closed. Online information and instructions on reception door were easy to follow. Choose your own pitch and enjoy! Campsite facilities were excellent, several exceptionally clean toilet/shower blocks( even had a bath), grey water and Elsan points. Beautiful beach just over the sand dunes.

Super schöner Platz, mit fantastischer Aussicht, wenn man in den Dünen steht. Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber. Problem könnte es sein, da es wirklich keine Toilettenbürsten gibt. Aber als Camper weiß man eigentlich wie man mit dieser Thematik umgehen sollte. Toller Strand und für die Hunde ein wahres Paradies.

Brilliant site as everyone else has mentioned. Fab shower blocks, lovely and warm. Great food on site. Lovely beach. We stayed Mid April, didn’t have a booking, turned up just after 10am to enquire and they kindly let us in to a pitch early. You choose where you want, either in the dunes or up higher further back.

Stayed here mid October, fantastic site, very clean, best showers and toilets we’ve seen so far, very clean and sooo warm. Great shop on site, lovely cafe for eve meal and breakfasts and food very good. Fantastic views of the beach and lovely sunsets…very friendly staff. We will be back for sure.

Lovely campsite with easy access to the beach. Facilities were modern and clean (wonderfully warm showers) and the cafe on site serves delicious food which you can either eat in or takeaway.

Fantastic campsite without the designated markings. Stayed here loads of times and always likened it to camping on an undulating links golf course. The views and beach is brilliant and views over to Longa are spectacular, I wish we could visit more often. Thanks to the Cameron family owners from this Cameron family.

Top Lage in den Dünen an einem tollen Strand. Sanitäranlagen könnten sauberer sein, insb. keine Toilettenbürsten bei den Damen und Spülung funktioniert teilweise nicht. Freie Platzwahl kann zum Problem werden, wenn man abends ankommt und einen noch verfügbaren Platz mit Strom sucht, haben mehr als eine Stunde gesucht, unser WoMo mit 7,5m zu parken.

Wunderschöner Platz mit Stellwiesen für Vans und Zelte. Mit und ohne Strom. Keine festen Parzellen aber dank „7m-Abstandsregel“ ist es nicht zu eng. Teilweise Stellplätze in den Dünen. Toller Strand, schöner Spielplatz. Super ausgestatteter kleiner Shop mit frischen Croissants. Bar & Cafe. Sanitäranlagen könnten besser sein.

Très beau camping avec assez de place pour ne pas être collé aux autres et avec une vue magnifique sur la plage et les dunes.

War im Juni auch kurzfristig buchbar, hat neben Rezeption auch einen Laden (war aber um 19:00 schon dicht), dafür aber ein Restaurant und ein Imbiß mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Riesen Platz, daher etwas weiter zu den Sanitärhaus, aber es wird gerade ein neues gebaut.

Ein super schöner Platz, man kann frei wählen. Der Strand ist super und das kleine Restaurant auf dem Platz freundlich und lecker. Duschen sehr sauber und ordentlich. Sehr viele Midges!!!

Le site idéal pour se pauser plusieurs jours. C'est juste... immense ! Accueil très sympathique, on choisit sont spot (et on peut changer tous les jours ou même plus si on veut). Sanitaires irréprochables (il y a même une baignoire du côté des femmes). Espace entre CC excellent. Pub excellent et personnel adorable. Petit magasin très pratique. Une fois arriver, on ne veut plus repartir.

Great site. Has everything you need. This could be a problem, as it is much much bigger than other sites on NC500, and attracts different personalities that the sites up north. Less friendly hellos and waves than on other sites, but other than that perfect.

Great location and decent facilities. Good range of pitches to choose from. Have stayed both in tents as well as in a camper. We keep coming back, it must be worth it.

Top Platz in den Dünen. Dahinter Sandstrand Freie Stellplatzwahl und größtenteils unparzelliert und riesig Platz. Einzig diese kleinen Mücken störten. Aber das ist halt Natur

Der perfekte Platz. Top organisiert und gepflegt. Sanitär großzügig und modern. Viel Platz zwischen den Stellplätzen (mind. 7 m). Nettes Personal. Kleiner Laden mit fast allem. Restorant. Direkt in den Dünen mit Zugang zum riesigen Strand.. Wir haben in SCO keinen besseren gefunden.

had a night here and apart fr it being a bit showery and windy absolutely no complaints you pick your own spot, first come basis lots of plots, friendly staff decent stocked shop and facilities where spotless. The on site cafe/restaurant was extremely good and not overly priced. highly recommend oh and the views are worth the drive

Top Platz. Beste Lage, direkt am Strand, freie Platzwahl, schöne Sanitäranlagen, gut sortierter Shop, Cafe/Pub 'The Barn'. Empfehlenswert!

This has been one my favourite campsites. The place is big but comfortable. The facilities are amazing. The shower and toilet block are so well kept and warm and the showers are hot. The shop is great and the cafe is delicious! One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. I’d 100% recommend here and we’ll definitely be back

Perfect staying with an awesome coastal view. You can pick any spot in camp land, so arrive early to achive the best one. Clean and hot shower. One of the best camp in Scotland.

Sehr schöner Campingplatz. Sehr weitläufig mit direktem Zugang über eine Düne zum Sandstrand. Duschen und Toiletten genügend vorhanden zumindest in den rechten Sanitäranlagen (Blick zum Strand).

Camping muy grande con todos los servicios: restaurante, take away, supermercado… lo único malo es que hay una única ducha en cada bloque de baños para un camping enorme

Sehr grosser Campingplatz, hat aber alles was man braucht. Duschen sind nicht sehr warm, aber noch ok. Sehr schöne Aussicht & man kann direkt an Strand. 24£ ohne Strom.

Fab site. We paid for EHU and it’s ‘choose your own’ pitch. We were in a T6 and the pitch we chose had 3 EHU but there was a tent on there taking up most of the little area. We parked up but there wasn’t room for anyone else. Would probably stay without EHU as those spaces were more remote. Facilities were good, large toilet and shower block and good washing facilities

Great location, we booked online the day of and arrived after reception closed but liked how easy it was to just turn up and pick your own spot. Due to arriving later, electric hook up spaces were somewhat limited but we still got a great spot overlooking the sea. Toilet/shower block was clean, a little cold but aren’t they all? Only downside was that our particular shower block only had one shower.

Sehr großer und sehr wunderschön gelegener Platz. Direkt am Strand gelegen sucht man sich irgendwo einen freien Platz. Ist sinnvoll, sich erst mal zu Fuß umzugucken und dann einen Platz zu wählen. Da kann man echt tolle Ecken finden. Hier kann man auch deutlich mehr Zeit verbringen als die eine Nacht, die ich dort war.

large site, we paid £24 non electric for one night. very clean site, Toilets and showers clean and spacious. we parked overlooking the beach through the sand dunes.

Huge site! Modern and clean facilities, but very cold inside - don’t think they’ve turned the heating on! Owners nice but a bit short, especially the man who was quite rude during his morning rounds. We arrived late and hadn’t paid, but sign on door says pay when reception opens at 9. We were sorting our things out and got a telling off at 9:07! If we weren’t going to pay we’d have left at 7.

Wonderful campsite with very good vibes and fully stocked shop (pricy but vegan friendly and all the pukka teas you can dream of), spotless clean facilities and freedom to park anywhere.

This is one of the best campsites in Scotland in my humble opinion, has all the facilities but still feels wild and not sterile like some sites, beautiful beach and nice bar/takeaway on site, spot of fishing, nice walks, fires allowed on dunes if you clear up after. 10/10

Stayed for two nights to get a break from tea rig each day. Excellent facilities with toilets and shower rooms spotless. Shop onsite as well as cafe / bar and takeaway hut. Short walk from site down to an extensive Sandy beach

£20 for a night without hookup. We got a great spot in the dunes with a sea view. The site was really quiet. It is a large site but in the dunes section there are a lot of spaces where you can feel like you are on a smaller site. We didn’t use the facilities.

A busy and large campsite. It was a free for all with ehu and although parking in the dunes was nice it was spoilt by the noise of a zipline in the playpark til 10. A nice beach. Facilities were just OK. Likely be a lot nicer in tourist low season.

Large campsite with great views, it was extremely windy so we hooked up with electric by sand dunes for protection. We paid £42 for 2 nights stay, we didn’t use showers so no comment. We had breakfast both mornings at the restaurant on site called The barn cafe which was excellent and had takeout dinner from there on the night, also very good. Good to use cafe to help local businesses

Very large campsite with electric, non electric and huge space to keep your distance. You surely can find a leveled spot. Sunset incredible. Facilities are great and clean. You have a restaurant, pop up van and an amazing sandy beach. Very quiet at night. Highly recommended.

Great site, toilets and showers spotless and open as usual. £32 for motorhome, 3 adults with electric hook up. Great beach for the dogs.

What a fabulous site. The location is fantastic. It has some of the best/cleanest facilities I have seen on a site in the UK. A well stocked shop and good cafe too. A real home away from home.

My favourite campsite of all. right on the beach with beautiful sandy dunes. shop, cafe, laundry facilities shower block was modern and very clean! grassy pitches and EHU are spaced around the site so options of where to park

Great facilities, including the food shack, bar and a very well stocked shop, all sorts of camping stuff. Very scenic and set amongst the dunes with lovely sand beach.

Unfriendly welcoming and mostly grass pitches, that’s for the minus side. On the plus side, very clean and correct amenities, good beers at the pub, and many many spots. Probably good views too, but the weather was horrible, so cannot confirm that...

Nice location, plenty of space, quiet enough, but no free WiFi and no 4G either. Good toilets and shower. The food in the restaurant is good enough, but the staff isn't really the most friendly.

Campingplatz big sand. Wunderschöne Lage. Freie Platzwahl. Van, 2 Personen, 2 Hunde mit Strom 23£. Shop mit viel Auswahl aber demotivierten Mitarbeitern. Sanitäranlagen veraltet und unsauber, kein Wunder ohne Klobürsten und zu wenig Spülwasser. Aber für diese einzigartige Lage kann man das in Kauf nehmen.
