Comme les autres parkings locaux sont payants, cela signifie que cet endroit est très populaire auprès des voitures qui utilisent la plage. Donc, il vaut mieux arriver au crépuscule, quand les amateurs de plage partent. S'il est encore plein, garez-vous en parallèle et attendez que l'obscurité s'éclaircisse et vous aurez probablement l'espace pour vous. À peine une voiture passe après 2300. Les voitures / promeneurs de chiens arrivent d'environ 8h00. Très paisible, pas d'installation.
Britta's Bay Free Parking. Layby with free parking all year round. Can accommodate large and small. Direct access to the beach too. Since the other local parking facilities are paid for, it means this place is very popular with cars using the beach. So, it best to arrive at dusk, when beach goers are departing. If still full, just park parallel and wait as it clears out by darkness and you will likely have the space all to yourself. Barely a car drives past after 2300. Cars/dog walkers arrive from about 0800. Very peaceful, no facilities.

Da die anderen örtlichen Parkmöglichkeiten kostenpflichtig sind, ist dieser Ort bei Autos, die den Strand benutzen, sehr beliebt. Es ist also am besten, in der Abenddämmerung anzukommen, wenn die Strandbesucher abreisen. Wenn es immer noch voll ist, parken Sie einfach parallel und warten Sie, bis es dunkel wird, und Sie werden den Platz wahrscheinlich ganz für sich alleine haben. Kaum ein Auto fährt nach 23.00 Uhr vorbei. Autos/Hundeausführer kommen ab ca. 08.00 Uhr an. Sehr friedlich, keine Einrichtungen.

Great little find. fairly flat. As it's October ( a very warm Sunday) and we have a small van, there was no issue parking. Very quiet road. Had a great night's sleep, after 6pm we were the only ones there till 6.50am when the swimmers and dog walkers came. Fantastic beach where our own dog could run at this time of year.
Great place to stop for the night or a few hours and visit the beach. flat and quiet at night. busy during the day.
The second time I have used this spot, the last time was 3 years ago! Nothing much has changed. It's a large quiet layby with easy access to the beautiful beach. As others have mentioned it does get busy with cars at peak times.
Super endroit gratuit... Pratique pour aller à la plage... En bord de route.. Aucune restriction pour dormir la nuit. Le seul GROS bémol.. Les gens laissent traîner tous leur déchet (chaussette, nourriture, excrément, sac,..) bref très dommage de ne pas respecter un tel endroit.. Du coup... Juste pour se garer c'est bien..
Good place for stopover when not busy as gets very busy when good weather out easily got our just over 7 meters mh reversed in and as described walk across road for beach no facilities. down the road parking with toilets 10 euros! great little place people have abused though rubbish been left about shame more likely from day trippers
nice quiet place to stop for the night arrived about 10pm and no one bothered with us even next morning locals that where going to the beach very friendly
Decide not to stay here. we arrived to a big soil patch just on the edge of the road. Access to the beach was a walk through the sand dunes and I didn't feel like it was a safe place to leave the van out of sight. Not for us.

Great location right opposite a beautiful sandy bay. Busy with locals walking & night fishing but all very friendly. No facilities but peaceful & safe. One other van with us overnight.
Die Nacht dort zu verbringen war ansich kein Problem. idealer Zugang zum Strand mit tollen Dünen zum hoch steigen und Aussicht genießen.Wir waren am Wochenende (Sa auf So) dort, da ist schon viel los. Auch mitten in der Nacht kommen Autos an, mit Leuten die zum Nacht-Angeln gehen.
We spent day and night there. Great to go swimming only 100m to the sea via the sand dunes. Some traffic in the morning but not too bad!

Busy Sunday for beach goers and dog walkers, but with a little patience, a spot will open up to back your camper in to. The public lot down the road had two food trucks - a burger/hot dog stand and an ice cream/dessert stand. Both were average, but a nice option.
We stayed there last night 18/2/23 and it was quiet. We did not arrive until 9pm so we had to set up in the dark, there no street lights but it is very sheltered location. No traffic on the road until next morning around 8am with the arrival of the horse box and some dog walkers. everyone was pleasant and it did get busy around 10am when we left.
Clean and quiet area for a free overnight stop. Lots of space with lovely views just over the dunes on the opposite side of the road.

Parked up here for the night in June 2022 Quite little road with very little traffic at night. Room for 6 or 7 motorhomes( mine is 7.5m long and I got in ok) Access to the beach straight across the road. It gets busy on the mornings with locals.
Guter Platz zum übernachten. Toiletten 100m entfernt beim kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz, geöffnet von 8h-21h.Wunderschöner Strand.
Ungemütlicher Stellplatz. Für einen Besuch am Strand optimal, für eine Übernachtung ist dieser eher nicht zu empfehlen. Ok wenn man keinen anderen Parkplatz findet.
We parked here for free while using an easy asses point to Brittas Bay. Two motorhomes were parked here overnight. Lots of space for camper vans or motorhomes.
Jam packed on a Thursday afternoon in July and tbh it’s not a place for large vans only small campers
We stayed here last night because we landed too late (around 9:15) for the main car parks. No facilities (but 15 min walk to the public toilets) and a brilliant spot if you're stuck. Right across the road from the beach and we had such a quiet night's sleep! Also had no issues finding parking but there were a number of cars left here overnight too, so I'm not surprised that this is an issue.
Sonntag Abend ein paar Jugendliche unterwegs, sonst eher ruhig. Schöner Zugang direkt zum Strand. Kein Klo oder Wasser. Wasser kann man an den bezahl Parkplätzen (4€) in der Nähe auffüllen.
Directement en bordure de route et devant la clôture d’une maison... aucune vue... aucun intérêt!
