We came late Sep. Friday around 2PM, the camp looks quite empty but we were told by some lady that with no prior booking they have no free spot for us. Finally glad as the campsite looked a bit ugly (found some amazing place just 30 minutes further in Inveraray)
Sehr herzlicher Campingplatz. Wir sind ohne Voranmeldung aufgetaucht, da die Telefonummer nicht funktionierte. Wir hatten Glück und es hatte noch ein paar frei. Um die Toilette zu leeren muss man irgendwo am Rand vom Platz hinlaufen und sogar für die Entleerung selber nicht so schön aussieht. Und das es bei den Männertoiletten nur eine Dusche eine Normale Toilette hat
Rapport qualité/prix un peu limité. Équipe accueillante mais le prix des douches est un peu élevé (1£/5min)
Lovely campground with friendly and lovely owner. The showers have the best power behind them and they are reallly good, 1£ for 5 min. The campground only costs 20£ for one night, you can deposit you chemical toilet, fill up you drinking water and enjoy the amazing shower. In the morning in the little coffee shop they sell amazing baked goods!
Freundliches Personal und saubere duschen und Toiletten. Duschen jedoch eiskalt und waren trotz 1 Pfund pro 5 Minuten kalt. Ansonsten netter kleiner Campingplatz für eine Nacht und ein paar Wanderungen ums Eck
Nice small campsite. Located behind the petrol station. A bit noisy in the morning, due to the road. Showers and toilets are clean.
Prima camping. Aanmelden kan in het gebouwtje naast het tankstation (blauw kruis op de foto) dan krijg je een sleutel voor het sanitairgebouw. Wij betaalden bij vertrek en ‘ontdekten’ dat er verse eieren en andere heerlijkheden worden gebakken door de campingeigenaresse. Oh ja en ja kan een paar meter verderop een café/terras vinden aan het prachtige meer. Nice!

Nettes Personal und alles was man benötigt. Saubere Waschräume und Möglichkeiten um alles zu Entsorgen. Der Ort und die Restaurants sind 15 Min Fußweg entfernt. Preise: Wohnmobil mit 2 Erwachsenen 20£, Zelt mit PKW und Erwachsenen 10£ (jeweils ohne Strom) Einchecken bis 18:00. Eine Person befindet sich dann auf dem Gelände und wird einen ansprechen. Wir würden wieder kommen.
Wir haben hier für eine Dusche angefragt. Die Frau am Handy wirkte desinteressiert und hat uns abgewiesen.
Stayed here in June. Lots and lots of midges. The black waste disposal not so easy to get the MH to, easier to take cassette to the area. Basic but good clean site

Camping au top ! 20£ la nuit. Prévoyez du cash car ils ne prennent pas la carte, ainsi que de la monnaie pour la douche (1£ pour 5min). Il y a de quoi faire sa vaisselle, remplir son eau et recharger en électricité. Il y a également des machines à laver et un snack. Méfiez vous des horaires sur Google MAP qui ne sont pas bons : 10h à 15h. Départ avant 11h le matin. Parfait !
Perfect motorhome stop, it’s all under GlenLion there is not 2 sites. Very friendly, cafe, electricity great view and dog walks. All you need. Site is a little tired, so let’s get this place busy so they can afford the upkeep.
We stayed on the way back south. We would stay again.For £20 is good value for money. It has got everything you need. Thank you for the friendly welcome.
Non si tratta di un vero camping ma di un Park per stazionari. I bagni sono puliti anche se con un cattivo odore. Le docce funzionano solo con monete da 1 pound per pochi minuti, no asciugacapelli. Scarico acque chiare impossibile a meno che non si decida di scaricare in un fosso. Scarico wc chimico in un wc di una casa abbandonata. Dopo le 18, per qualsiasi necessità, non c'è nessuno.
Nous avons été super bien accueillis. Étant en Septembre on a eu de la place. Nous avons payé 20£ avec électricité. Les toilettes et douche (prévoir 1£ pour 5 minutes) tout était très propre. Personnel très sympathique et répondant à toutes nos questions. Je recommande sans hésiter. Merci encore pour l'accueil.
Stayed here for 2 nights on 1st outing with a rooftent. Host Vivienne, couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. Paid £20 for the 2 nights on grass pitch with no EHU. Toilets and shower area clean and tidy and cafe open for rolls and hot drinks (as well as a huge range of stuff in case you forgot it - Smidge, reading glasses, torch etc). Can’t wait to come back.
Si vous arrivez après l’heure de fermeture de l’accueil comme nous vers 17h35 vous êtes accueillis par un homme Brian. Nous y sommes restés 1 nuit pour 25£ avec accès à l’électricité. Il faut payer en cash. On était 3. Les sanitaires sont top et la douche c’est 1£ pour 5 min avec bon débit et eau chaude. Parfait avec accès aux balades du village.
Eind augustus '24 is de camping in ieder geval een verlaten schim van wat de reviewers hieronder aantroffen. Geen receptie op maandag rond 16u / 4pm. De enige bewoners van de camping zijn (voor zover we kunnen beoordelen) verlaten mobile homes. Het lijkt eerder een trailer park dan een camping. Wij zijn doorgereden.

Ruhiger Campingplatz mit großen Parzellen und schönem Blick auf die Berge. Wir haben nur £10 für 2 Personen in einem Auto bezahlt. Die Duschen für 1£ für 5 Minuten sind super warm, guter Druck und sauber. Die Sanitätanlagen erscheinen recht neu. Draußen gibt es ein kleines Spülbecken mit heißem Wasser, aber ansonsten keine Unterstellmöglichkeit bei Regen zum Beispiel. Wir kamen nach 18 Uhr an.

Difficile de trouver où se présenter (station essence). La buanderie est glauque. C'est le première vision que j'ai eu (en cherchant la reception) et ça a failli me faire fuir. - pas d'électricité pour 3 cc sans personne joignable - un bac a vaisselle non abrité - terrain en herbe où on a patiné un peu pour sortir Pas horrible mais pas une bonne expérience non plus.
Camping muy agradable con una zona en el verde parcelas, otra zona de parcela es más estilo parking. de todas formas todo muy llano Servicios un poco justos si el camping está lleno.
Nice site with lovely hikes nearby. The site manager was very welcoming and helpful. Showers were amazing. Be aware the power supply is limited to 6amps so it’s enough to run a fridge and lights but not enough for a normal kettle to boil.
Llegamos sobre las 19h y encontramos sitio muy fácilmente. Por la mañana pagamos las 20 libras a una mujer amable. Llenamos el depósito de agua limpia, pero no tienen manguera larga.
Great site for exploring around arrochar £20 for ehu we hadn’t booked & the owner was very accommodating, £1 for the shower which was piping hot , snack bar open until 3pm for filled rolls etc
Lovely campsite, great location with view of loch and easy walk into town. Snacks available on site, and lots of food places in walking distance. Amazing showers, and a lovely host! Didn’t have a booking but host was very accomodating
Kleiner Campingplatz, viele Caravans zum Mieten. Kleiner Imbiss neben der Tankstelle. Saubere Sanitäranlagen und Möglichkeit mit Münzen zu waschen und zu trocknen. Toilettenentsorgubg etwas umständlich zu erreichen, Grauwasserentsorgung möglich.
Pulled off the road without booking. Shop was closed so couldn’t ask if ok to stop the night. Toilets locked but we found a hack. Parked up bitched the canopy and promptly settled down for the evening/night. Many travellers passing through left again when they saw the shop was closed. Mrs McTavish text to ask for payment in the morning. No problem at all. Perfect location if a little dated ??
Auch für 1 Person mit VW Bus ohne Strom kostet es £20 pro Nacht. Verwendung der Duschen (gegen Gebühr) ohne Übernachtung nicht möglich.
Emplacement pour 3 jours en CC. 20£ avec électricité par jour. 1£ la douche. Emplacement top, sanitaires très propres et accueil parfait. Endroit très calme. Paiement en carte bleue. Emplacement libre sans réservation.
Schöner Campingplatz, etwas veraltet, aber okey. Sanitäreinrichtungen sind sauber.
Kleiner gemütlicher Campingplatz mit Blick auf die Berge . Ein freundlicher Empfang und wir haben auch gleich einen Platz bekommen. Sanitäranlagen sind älter und dementsprechend, teilweise etwas kaputt. Barzahlung.
Kleiner, etwas in die Jahre gekommener Campingplatz. Stellplatz war groß und relativ gerade. Toilette, Frischwasser, Grauwasser & Toilettenentsorgung sind vorhanden. Dusche für 5 Minuten kostet 1 Pfund. Waschmaschine Trockner waren insgesamt 5 Pfund. Wir haben ohne vorherige Reservierung einen Platz für 20 Pfund bekommen.
Very muddy pitches and roads shower a bit dirty toilets were dirty at night but cleaned in the morning
gemiddeld goede camping. wc's zijn schoon. camping is klein en niet duur. wij betaalden 25 pond voor een motorhome met electr., 2 volwassenen 2 kinderen. paar minpunten: - damesdouche was koud terwijl zelfde moment de herendouche warm was. - geen föhn voor de dames met lang haar. - buiten afwassen: niet overdekt en zonder verlichting. - 2x de droger gebruiken eer de was droog is. Cash betalen.
netter kleiner Campingplatz. 20£ für T5 mit 3 Personen für die Nacht bezahlt. 1£ für Dusche. Man kann vor Ort frühstücken und tanken. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Kann den Berg „The Cobbler“ sehr empfehlen

Il y a un SNACK sur place car ça fait aussi station service . . Nous avons payé 20£ en espèce avec l’électricité pour 1 nuit , 2 adultes , 1 enfant .
Camping très pratique et bien équipé. La Landry est industrielle et efficace 2livres le lavage du linge de 4 personnes et 2 livres le séchage. En plus une seule tournée tellement ça fonctionne bien et tout est sec. Douche 5 minutes pour 1 livre et c’est propre.
Love this place. We usually end up going last minute, with 4 kids. Always call. It's nippin clean and the staff are super friendly. All you need is a bacon butty after, oh they do that as well. We'll be back again!!!!!

great site! highly recommended ,amazing views, quiet lovely place , shower's drainage bit slow , but otherwise very clean and tidy , not overcrowded , fantastic base camp for cycling paths , owner very friendly, I'd definitely return !
Went there with a campervan. 20£/night with electricity for 2 adults. Toilets were clean. Shower : 1£/5min. Chemical waste disposal point and a water tap to replenish your tank. There are a pub and a fish and chips nearby.
Camping très sympa. La gérante est très accueillante. Les meilleures places sont rapidement prises (places plates). Pour un Van et 2 personnes nous avons payé 20£. Il faut compter 1£ supplémentaire pour 5 min de douche. C’était propre. Adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Un peu bruyant car au bord de route. Camping juste derrière station essence.

Was £10 cash rate per night. With electric hook up for the motorhome. It has grey waste and chemical toilet waste disposal here. Its actual cheap to stay here than both the carparks across the road ?
Lovely little spot, £15 flat rate for us to hookup with electric point. Fresh water, toilets lovely and clean, lady who was in the cabin was so friendly. Fish and chips shop just up the road, bar and restaurant just a bit further up too. Would recommend! Only lost one star for lack of waste disposal point.
We stopped here for 1 night, wasn't a bad stay, few pubs and chippy within walking distance, garage for fuel infront of the site and also a snack hut serving got and cold sandwiches and drinks, usual facilities was £25 for 2 adults and 2 kids with hookup, would stay again if local.
Booked via WhatsApp. They very kindly informed there was availability. Arrived mid afternoon. Chap who "welcomed" us wasn't really friendly who said the charge was £15 for 2 ppl, even though we were not using electricity. When manager arrived at the site, she explained they're now charging everyone £15, as all the pitches have electrical hook up points. Nice place just behind a quiet A road.
Great stopover. clean and tidy. nice hot showers (£1 coins needed for 5 mins). very accommodating and took us in very late. local area is superb.
What a site, big pitches and great price. Everyone was extremely friendly and the breakfast rolls were amazing. Will defently be back. Our 4 kids had a great time. But we may even have a parents only trip and spend more time in the pubs and hotels
Peaceful, well laid out - excellent toilet/shower facilities. Pit stop take away shop that does amazing filled rolls and a pub a few minutes’ walk away for a bar meal. Lovely walks here too. The best value for these types of facilities that I’ve had.
£15 for 2 adults for 1 night with electronic hookup. Booked a few days before arrival and paid in the snack bar. Key for toilet/showers, which were clean and shower warm (£1-5 minutes). Drinking water and sink for doing dishes. Plenty of bins. Cassettes can be emptied. Dog's welcome. Walking distance to a few pubs, restaurants and chip shop. Residents very friendly. Site very peaceful.
We enjoyed a night here in our van- quiet with all the basics needed, amenities were restricted because of Covid. Well worth the £19.
We stayed here with a campervan, 2 adults /w elec. for one night for 15 pounds. It was by far the cheapest camp-site we could find. It wasn't the most luxurious or beautiful of campings, but the other (permanent) residents were very welcoming and kind. Would recommend.
This place is open 10 months per year, except November and February. We called couple hours before to check, got all the information and payed cash next day. Beautiful area, clean toilets just a little cold showers for January.
Lovely clean shower for £1. £5 a night per person + £5 for optional electricity. We just parked up and met the warden later for payment. Lovely pub down the road overlooking Loch Long within walking distance
Decided to have a last minute night away in the Motorhome. The sun was shining in Arrochar and on Loch Long, and we arrived to a warm welcome from the lady in the cafe who organises the site. Great price for £5 pppn and £5 for hook up. Key for toilet, and 2 showers /toilets in each. Both clean and spacious shower area. £1 for shower. Great for easy access to walks/ pubs/ restaurants and more than enough to get by for groceries at local Barrhead stores. Clean and basic overall.
Parking bruyant, proche de la route. Toilettes bouchées et un résident alcoolisé a écouté de la musique toute la nuit sans qu’on ne lui fasse une remarque.
