Bel endroit juste à côté de la plage. Vues imprenables, café et toilettes. Il y a aussi un super petit pub à environ 20 minutes à pied (en haut d'une colline raide !)

Lovely spot right by the beach. Stunning views, cafe and toilets. There is also a great little pub about a 20 min walk away (up a steep hill!)

Serieus druk tijdens hondenuitlaattijd.

Great spot!! Right on the beach and close to toilets that are open 24hrs.. would definitely stay here again

Never any free spaces. Traffic Wardens in unmarked cars giving out tickets to those parked illegally, or not in the box or parking overnight. Locals do not like people parked there overnight. Not worth the hassle.

As a smaller 6 metre length motorhome we do not fit into these car parking bays. The bays are suitable for a Citroen Berlingo conversion or maybe a VW T5, but forget it if you panel van camper or motorhome.

As the previous comment has said, new boxes have been added with £150 fine if your wheels don't fit within the box. Officers come by around 7am and take a photo, ticket will arrive in the mail. Locals have confirmed.

They have now added boxes bays to this car park and if your wheels don’t fit in then they are giving £150 fines and in a months time it will be paid parking! shame as it’s a great spot, ruined by one person who stayed for 4 weeks last year I was told!

Beautiful spot next to the beach. Sunning views, toilets and beach cafe. Nice pub a 20 min walk away up a steep hill.

  • 3/5

about 6 free parking spots by the toilet and coffee hut. naturist beach to the left.

  • 5/5

I don’t know why someone has said you can’t now park here as you can. I spoke to a local who said it’s ok and there a little cafe on beach to support and loos. Perfect spot - have been before a few years ago. This is not the car park but a parking area by the cafe

The road has been open for a while now. But you can park overnight on the left hand side of the slip road to Strete Gate Carpark. You cannot park overnight in the Carpark, only at the side of the road. There is space for about 4 motorhomes. There is a coffee shack opposite and toilets near the Carpark. The beach is a stones throw away and is dog friendly. A quiet spot to stay. Beautiful!

stopped over on a Saturday night in July, 5 other Van's also there but enough room for us all. great spot and beach just over road, a little traffic noise early on but very quiet from about 8pm....take a rod and have fresh mackerel on a summer's evening

Amazing sea views! This was recommended to us by the local parking assistant at Blackpool sands beach. The locals were really friendly, most walking their dogs. Really quiet at night only the sounds of the sea, birds and local wildlife (cows). A cute little cafe on the beach open at 10am serves food and drinks with benches to sit at. Toilets open 24hrs and cleaned regularly.

Great little space on a beautiful beach, can’t see the views from the van but it’s pretty much on your doorstop and a great morning walk. Very quite overnight even with being near the road, gets busy from about 9/10 with dog walkers/fishers. Room for about 2 big vans or 4 smaller ones! We were the only ones which was nice. Nice a flat. Nice little cafe right next to it if you wanted a coffee.

Not a bad place to stop overnight. We arrived at 20:30 and took the last spot. The person that was parked next to us left very quietly, however the fishermen taking their space at 5.00 were very noisy. We didn't use the beach cafe as they opened a bit late for us. Considering that we were parked near the road we didn't really hear any traffic.

Fantastic spot, can be busy in summer holidays and weekends.

Stayed here 7/8/21. Got the last free space around 19:00. However around 21:00 a few over spaces became available as the people who were fishing left. Close to a road but quiet through the night. Dog walkers in the morning but everyone very friendly. Beach Cafe right opposite opened at 09:00. Ideal as a passing through kinda stop.

Good for a night. Nice to be so close to the sea

  • 5/5

Great spot for a single night we have a lwb crafter and had to park right by the road to avoid blocking but mwb and smaller would be fine anywhere

  • 5/5

Amazing place to wake up. Park far end of car park to wake up to the sea view. We stayed last night out of season, no issues, no one else there. All you can hear is owls! Toilets very close, very clean.

  • 5/5

Great little cafe by the sea. open at 10am closes at 5pm. nice big beach with plenty of space to stretch the legs.

  • 4/5

parking just off the road which is free (5-6 free spaces) then larger pay and display car park just past free section, stayed multiple times no issues nice location not much of a view from the van though

  • 4/5

A few free spaces just off the road, if you keep going there’s a bigger gravel car park for which you must pay. Very close to the sea but no view as far as I can remember. We didn’t stay overnight.
