Plenty of space for parking, during Surf Expo a bit less. there is a family collecting money without any uniform. I talked to the workers from expo who actually had uniforms from Thagazouht communite and they confirmed that it's not a payed parking and its voluntary to give them money. The man got very annoying and almost aggressive telling me I'd need to leave blabla, maybe easier to give some

!!! please don't trust the family that lives there and collects the money for the parking !!! I was "friends" with them and they ended up stealing my surf board. Be careful of leaving things or borrowing anything to the kids. the parking lot itself is alright, although dirty, but definitely safe, I stayed there for a couple of months.
The spot is great but the issue is the so called “guard”. They are particularly insisting, and seem to have collected the 20 DHR for the night for a while now. They will harass you to pay all day long even send their kids to ask you when you already paid. Having to pay parking is ok but not that much and in that manner. If you keep paying they will continue to racket.
nice and quite clean spot as for the maroccan standards. guys delivering fresh donuts straight at the door of your camper every afternoon!
As of tomorrow there is a bodyboarding comp starting. ‘Guard’ didn’t want to take the usual 20dh as the police were there …., sent a small boy over for it later , don’t think I’m going to pay again , as others have said it appears to be just a local taking money with no guarantee of not being moved on .

Duzy parking przy plaży niedaleko miasteczka. Stało kilka ekip. Koszt 20 dh/dzień. Cicho i spokojnie.
Heerlijk rustig plekje met schitterende uitzicht! De politie kwam om iedereen weg te sturen omdat je er niet mag overnachten en zei dat het een gratis plekje is, dus die gast die er aan het begin zit en 20 dirham vraagt hoef je niet te betalen.
De politie kwam langs en stuurde iedereen weg, het is verboden er te overnachten. De zogenaamde parkwachter (buurtbewoner) heeft zo een mooi zakcentje, steekt 20 dh per camper in eigen zak. :-D

Gestern Abend erneut von der Polizei für übernachtungswillige Camper geräumt, obwohl Gebühr genau dafür bezahlt. Tagsüber kein Problem.
super Platz mit gigantischer Aussicht auf das Meer. Ruhig und keine aufdringlichen Verkäufer. kein Straßenlärm. Schöner Strand.

We were visited by the (very friendly) police at about 9pm warning us that this was not a safe place to sleep and we'd be better moving into town. Even asked if we had weapons to defend ourselves if we needed to! That said, we didn't move, due to having had a few glasses of wine, and experienced no problems. Beautiful setting, there were 5 other campers when we arrived but all left as dark fell.
Sleep right by anchor point, amazing morning views. DO not leave ANYTHING outside your car as it will get stolen. We got a board stolen and some other campers too. Very carefull w that in this region... Sad
