(12183) Vilanova d'Alcolea
The patron saint festivities in honor of Saint Bartholomew will take place from August 16 to 25. The festive program will include the traditional 'bou al carrer', dance, music, culture and activities designed for the little ones.
Vilanova d'Alcolea has a Punt Net promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana, with free loading and unloading service for water and electricity supply.
Its location, at a transition point between the coast and the Maestrat mountains, makes Vilanova an ideal enclave surrounded by nature and magical places.
The town center contains samples of the past that are worth visiting, such as a section of the medieval wall, the Calvary and the church of Sant Bertomeu, built in the 17th century.
In addition, it has numerous places, one of them is the beautiful Fuente del Mas de Calaf, where one of the highest quality natural water pipes in the area is located. There is also a recreation area to enjoy an ideal day with the whole family and other of its most attractive points are the Barranco de la Fuente Roja, the Fuente de la Carrasqueta and the Fuente de la Villa.
Nature is one of the main jewels of Vilanova d'Alcolea. In its municipal area, there are numerous pedestrian and cycling paths that you can consult at the following link or by asking at the town hall. The area has 10 marked plots, black and gray water emptying service, electric charging terminals and picnic tables.
