For those seeking extra comfort, you can stay in one of our 21 cozy sleeping barrels or in our stylish glamping pots. During the Bavarian school holidays, families and children can enjoy a varied holiday program with many highlights: three playgrounds, a lovingly designed toddler play paradise, a children's cinema, beach volleyball, and go-kart and bicycle rentals ensure fun and exercise. Right on the campsite, you'll also find a surf school, a sailing school, and rental options for pedal boats, SUPs, kayaks, and canoes – perfect for active days on the water. We'll spoil you with a restaurant, a Franconian beer garden, and a kebab stand right on the campsite. Motorhome Parking at Plankstetten Monastery - The parking area below Plankstetten Monastery offers ample parking for motorhomes. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Sulz Valley and experience breathtaking sunrises in the morning. The nearby Main-Danube Canal invites you to take relaxing walks or bike rides. The newly renovated monastery tavern and the terrace beer garden will delight hungry guests with freshly tapped monastery beer, regional specialties from the monastery kitchen, and cakes from the monastery bakery – all organic, of course. The organic market also offers a hot food counter, coffee and cake, and snacks to go. At the end of 2026, the organic market will be converted into a 24/7 shop. A charging station is available for e-bikes. The monastery church, the crypt, and the monastery garden can be visited year-round. Guided tours are available by prior arrangement. Please note the current opening hours of the individual businesses. Parking is free of charge. However, the monastery gratefully accepts voluntary donations.
