Large flat parking overlooking the huge culdaff beach. Location more discreet than the parking offers next door since not overlooked housing. Rather sheltered from the wind (as much as possible !!!) thanks to the dunes. Port a loo while lifeguard on duty season. Ice cream and tea coffee van
Großer flacher Parkplatz mit Blick auf den riesigen Strand von Culdaff. Die Lage ist diskreter als die Parkplätze nebenan, da keine Wohnungen zu übersehen sind. Eher windgeschützt (möglichst!!!) dank der Dünen. Portieren Sie ein Klo, während der Rettungsschwimmer im Dienst ist. Eis- und Teewagen

Volevamo fermarci a dormire ma abbiamo rinunciato. Sul piazzale asfaltato ci sono evidenti segni di auto che fanno derapate, quindi noi gli diamo fastidio . Non voglio rovinarmi la vacanza. volevo inserire la foto che ho fatto, ma ci sono già 5 foto pubblicate e non so come fare
Yes another wonderful beach and car park! Very large car park with only 3 of us on it. A tap onsite but nothing else. Very quiet and peaceful. Recommended.
Local young lads egged our van around 12:30/1 in the morning, great spot otherwise but won’t be returning
As free spots go, this is right up there. If you park close enough to the dunes you'll get decent wind coverage. No bins, but then, that's Ireland for you, however, there is a dog waste bin. There's also a water tap to wash your feet (no threads, bucket refill only). Lovely spot for dog walking, beach access depends on tidal erosion. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic spot for an overnight stop. 20 metre walk over the dunes to one of the most spectacular beaches I've ever seen. Just us and 2 other campers on this large flat free car park, once the locals had left at around 9pm. Great to have the sound of breakers crashing onto the shore as you fall asleep and again when you wake up. There's a water tap but no other services.

Great park up with one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. Tap in this car and Portaloo toilets at the other car park next to the little tea & coffee van. Please respect the area and other people this is not a campsite
great stop, very quiet here day and night, lovely beach, fresh water tap, there are several bins at the other beach which you can walk to in 2 minutes. but please be discrete.

Large parking area but very busy on holiday weekend. One vehicle out...one in. Stunning beach with plenty of space for everyone. Local intellectuals came to visit at 0400 sounding their car horns. I thought it was the bakery van so turned over and dreamed of French pastries while they continued their shallow, empty lives. Great vibe to the site otherwise!
Fantastic Spacious Beach Car Park. Day / Night Parking Welcomed. 60 second walk to beach. Might get busy in summer months. Great place for Camper Vans and Motorhomes large and small. Please be respectful to locals and leave nothing but tyre print behind you and take nothing but memories with you.
Very friendly and helpful locals. Peaceful nights stop. It easy to miss the turning for campervans, but we were directed to the campervan friendly car park by locals. Nice little coffee shack at the 2nd car park. We will be back.
We stayed here last night on our first ever motorhome experience. A fantastic location, secluded from the wind by dunes and the beach is stunning. Locals were super friendly this morning. Was 5 other Motorhomes parked up. We will be back.

Grand parking proche d'une jolie plage avec quelques camping car et bien autant de caravanes qui arrivent dételent et s'installent avec fauteuils, tables, étendoirs et tout ça au plus du point d'eau ... Pas certaine qu'à terme la municipalité reste le site accessible !!
Great park up, thank you to the community for allowing us to park here. Please be considerate and park in this car park and not in the one in front of the houses. Absolutely stunning beach.
Flat parking, water tap, lovely beach (also for dogs). We were the only campers there.
toller Platz, blieb 2 Nächte. Asphaltiert und gerade. direkter Zugang zum Strand. Man schläft direkt hinter der Düne. kleiner Mülleimer für Hundekotbeutel vorhanden. Die erste Nacht waren wir 9 Camper. Sandstrand, sehr weitläufig.
Only came on a Saturday during the day but more than enough space for all vehicles. Would have been happy to stay overnight. Beach is dog friendly if you come out from the dunes and go LEFT. If you walk to the end the beach turns back on itself and the old pier can be seen. No bins.

Nice big area at the back of the football club. Two young lads pulled up and started playing hurling in the car park, needless to say the ball hit the campervan at speed. Then later lads down in cars lapping the car park for an eternity. Very intimidating- we left at 10pm. Maybe just unlucky as other reviews good. We were the only campervan in the car park.
Great spot. Big car park. Easy walking to McGuinness’ bar. Would definitely stay again. Felt very safe.
Great place to stop over for a night, large flat carpark, close to a beautiful beach and sand dunes to walk through. We stayed here last night, quiet, about 10 other campers here, good weather too which helps! There’s a coffee van over in the other carpark beside a children’s playpark as well, would recommend.

Stayed for 2 nights 4/5/24 very quiet, lovely long beach for a walk or a swim, 6 campers here both nights and a couple of tents, sheltered from the wind, the locals all very welcoming a water tap in the car park.
Good Place to stay overnigt. Quite, but you can hear the see and thundering waves. . Nice place behind the dunes . We have seen dolphins. The beach is endless big. A place to feel well.

Good location although expect people driving in at odd hours of the night. no problems however a good night's sleep.
Very large free car park. Sign at beginning of road welcoming. There is also a sign at other car park saying to use this car park. Just behind small dunes. Fantastic 0.5mile sweep of beach. Can be exposed to wind depends on direction. No bins or anything else. A few dog walkers coming and going. No-one else on a windy Thurs early May.
Very quiet at night. We parked at 6.30pm and didn't see another vehicle until morning. Amazing sunrise on a clear morning
Magnifique endroit, à côté de la plage. Un panneau indique que les camping-car sont autorisés. Je me suis sentie en sécurité malgré le fait que j'étais complètement seule la nuit.
5 sterne sind für diesen traumstrand zu wenig ! hunde laufen ohne leine. toller ebener platz, tagsüber pkw mit strandspaziergängern und hundebesitzern. nachts 4-5 womos und wellenrauschen. Frühstück auf der kleinen düne mit meeresblick. wir waren 3 nächte !
Best beach in Donegal, very beautiful and no rocks, golden sand. There is a sign on the way in that vans/campers are allowed, very quiet at night and the dunes shelter from the wind yet block direct view of the sea. No services, pub and small shop close by in Culdaff town.

Exzellenter, einsamer und ruhiger Platz hinter dem Sportplatz, direkt am Meer hinter den Dünen. Man wird gebeten nicht den weiter hinteren an der Strasse liegenden Platz (Culdaff Beach) zu benutzen. Wir waren die einzigen hier (kein Badewetter). Nur hie und da ein paar Strandbesucher, welche den Hund spazieren führten. Je nach Windrichtung relativ gut geschützt vor Wind wegen Dünen.
Signs asking not to park at upper car park but fine to park at lower one, which we did and had a quiet night with no issues. No services available but wonderful beach to park at for an evening

No facilities but easy large car park with beach access and if you are lucky a glimpse of a view. Hear the other car park up the road is putting up barriers but we saw water and portaloos there.
Nice quiet spot for the night and direct access to a beautiful beach.
Sehr schöner Platz mit Meerblick und sehr ruhig. Wir konnten sogar Delfine beobachten.
Stayed 13/8/19. 1 other camper. There were tents at the stadium but I didn’t hear a thing from them. Locals use car park to park and walk dogs etc but no one disturbed us. No facilities. But a lovely flat parking area and beach right next door
Less crowded than the nearby parking, as there you can find a playground and an ice cream shop . Nice dunes, no bin, large quite flat ground.
Parfait .... sauf une teuf au stade ( tentes et voitures ) ... On s'est déplacé vers le parking plus loin ( 500m) ... 3 campings car ....nuit très calme.... et bonus: robinet d'eau .
