Beautiful location....feels wild and isolated. I highly recommend this site - £10 per night (me and van) - with toilets and showers! excellent value

family run well kept site. two different fields. open fires not allowed but fire pits of the ground are. good 4g connectivity. porta loos and water in both fields. ideal for some amazing walks. Plenty of wild campers. early to bed early risers. highly recommend. In the valley of mountains of the lake district for vans, motorhomes and tents. pitch black and no noise after 10pm. great star gazing spot

A classic campsite. We have been coming for years (since 2017!) and it never lets us down. Owner is super friendly and down to earth, we stayed two nights and left on a Saturday. Worth arriving as early as you can because it does get busy on weekends! 50p for 4 mins shower. £10 each per night

We were turned away from an almost empty field at 9pm at night with young children because apparently it was too late even though the website states just to turn up! I would suggest you drive approx 1.5mile along the road to Seathwaite Farm Campsite instead its absolutely spot on rather than have some ignorant farmer parked at the entrance deciding whether or not your allowed in like this site!
