Parking gratuit.

Free parking area. 24 hour toilets down the road. Parked here a few times and no problems. Good phone / internet signal. 2x cafes (the one right at the end next to the river is better). Foot ferry over to Bawdsey. Can launch kayaks / paddle boards ect. Just walk over the road thru the car park and there is a slipway or there is one at the end of the road. Amazing fresh fish shop and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I have stayed here a few times now and it’s amazing. You can walk along the sea wall, and have a pint in the ferryboat inn. Now the other park up has closed this is my go to place and it’s so much better :)
The toilets get loacked overnight unless you are disabled and have a RADAR key then the disabled toilet is accessible 24/7.
Bins located infront of toilets too

Kostenloser Parkplatz.

Aparcamiento gratuito. Baños 24 horas al final de la calle. He aparcado aquí varias veces y sin problemas.

This is a great spot - I live in the village. Please don't abuse the privilege and over-stay here. There are grumblings going on about people staying for days. It's not a residential van park, so I urge you not to overdo it and spoil it. This place is overlooked by houses and not everyone is in favour of vans overnighting. Toilets no longer 24 hours.

Excellent park up. Very quiet. Mostly flat. Pub and toilets nearby. Make sure you visit the Jam Box to buy jam. Can hear the sea from here. Only 3 other people parked here.

Quiet park up on a windy rainy night. Nobody bothered me.

Really nice, but may be closing once the council get around to fitting the ticket boxes. As for now, highly recommended

Arrived at 16:30 - plenty of room. Had a nice meal and drinks in The Ferryman. The staff were friendly and helpful. I asked if this patch of parking belonged to the pub. She explained that it's council owned, and free to park at the moment. Thought I'd have an early night but cars zooming up and down the road until gone 23:00. Good spot other than that.

Beautiful. Managed to get into one of the two bays on the side of the carpark as I found the main part slopped down ever so slightly but would still have stayed there if the side wasn’t available. Free clean toilets, pub and cafe ( not open after 3pm ). Peak school holidays and still very quiet. EE signal great, able to stream an episode before bed on Netflix, no issue. Paid carpark 20 yards up.

Had a quiet nights sleep here. Quirky parkup, basically a marina with a few houses scattered around. We arrived early at 5:30pm car park filled up later on. O2 and three mobile signals are just about OK for streaming but dropped out twice. Cafes shut up early afternoon, but the Ferry Boat Inn's friendly staff served great food and lovely ales. Nice stroll along the waterfront.

This is a nice, quiet and at night dark place to park! We spent 2 nights here, never bothered by anybody. Nice and clean 0-24 toilet is 1 minute walk, as is the shore. The scenery is really something, you can watch the sunrise/moonrise from the shore, listen to the waves, you can also see the sunset and you have a foggy golf course to look at after sunset! Love this place, thanks for having us!
