Great place to stop with deers roaming over night. Lovey friendly pigs roaming all day. £20 a night, paid to the man on a Penny Farthing. Drive through the coach park to the field at the back, pay on the gate. If you arrive later turn up the lane to Burley Manor, then a right over cattle grid (pay in the morning). Cider festival was on this weekend, worth a visit.

Fantastic spot with friendly chap at the entrance to the car park. There were maybe 15 vans and all were quiet by 10pm. Would highly recommend over the new forest camp sites that operate on a minimum 3 nights policy.

  • 4/5

To the owner/manager: thank you for letting us use this space! Brilliant

  • 5/5

Lovely place for a stop over, dogs allowed on lead and under control. Owner collects fee on his penny farthing and so welcoming. Toilets close by no other facilities on site. Highly recommend.

  • 5/5

Super plek.

  • 5/5

lovely peaceful night sleep surrounded by dear. and cash payment accepted. winner winner fires are allowed off the ground

Burley Park off coach park (over cattle grid) right of Burleys main car park (public toilets) past Queens Head pub. Or Burley Manor drive, gate on the right. It’s owned by Dan Tanner who also owns Sopley Farm Pick Your Own which is well worth a visit! There’s no facilities in the field. Zen cares for the red deer & is extremely knowledgeable, you’ll often see him riding his pennyfarthing.

  • 5/5

We stumbled across this place after frantically looking for somewhere en route back home to the east coast, and it couldn't have been more perfect. £15 for beautiful scenery, starry skies, wild deer that you can feed, welcoming host (but not encroaching), toilets within a 30 second walk (that are well stocked and maintained (except for soap -take your own!). Highly recommend

  • 5/5

We stayed over night last night (18th/19th August) and could not have been happier with the stay. Secure and peaceful over night with Deer released into the field in the evening. We popped up to Burley Manor for a drink and had a great experience and there are lots of pubs in the village. We will definitely be back. Parking over night £15 for the Camper Van.

  • 5/5

No facilities but calm, few rules, nice village with 2 pubs, extensive forest walking from the doorstep, deer released at night and lovely owners. 2 rules not written anywhere. 1) You must park on the smaller parcel of grass to the left of the road. 2) The deer do not like dogs as a baby was killed and some may be aggressive towards dogs (not people). Stay well away from the deer with dogs.

  • 5/5

great night here. Zen comes round to collect the £15 on a penny farthing. He then let us go with him into the pen where the deer are kept during the day to let the out. Quiet night.

  • 5/5

We love this spot! The owners are so lovely and are round regularly to collect money. It’s quiet and tranquil and the deer get released in the evening which is just incredible! We have stayed multiple times now and know we will be back for many more nights here. Public toilets are a short walk away and close at 10pm which is perfect! Highly highly recommend this spot!

  • 5/5

Absolutely beautiful spot for a night or two. Set in a private field just behind the main street of Burley. You just pull in, find a spot and wait for the land owner to come and collect £15 from you. The deer get released in the evenings for an extra magical touch! Lots of local amenities within minutes and plenty of like minded neighbours. Public toilets close by during the day, but think they get locked over night. No electric or facilities, just you and the outdoors, what more could you want. We will absolutely be back!

  • 5/5

Just spent a lovely evening here and will certainly be back soon. Very peaceful. £4 all day then £15 for overnight from 6pm

  • 5/5

Lovely park up… have stayed a few times….. owner is a lovely old boy and when the deer were let in the field we were surrounded and able to hand feed them… word of warning but due to recent weather conditions the ground is very boggy so moving on in the morning was a struggle to say the least but will definitely come back when dryer… pub and toilets 50yds away… no other amenities

  • 5/5

This has been the nicest spot! Beautiful and the deer are lovely to watch. The owner is the sweetest man. We will definitely be back and recommend it!

  • 5/5

Ganz spezieller Ort!

  • 5/5

Beautiful place and the farmer is very friendly and chatty. Great location in the centre of the village within walking distance to all pubs and shops. Public toilets within a 1 minute walk from the field however they are shut at night. The deer were definitely a highlight.

  • 5/5

Beautiful view of the manor house, Polite owners who check in to see how you are. Deer are released into the Field in the evening. absolute brilliant spot. £15 per night I definitely recommend.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Great spot. Fantastic views of the manor and very close to the village.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Stayed here in july of 2023 and it was lovely. You can just park on the field and sooner or later the farmer comes around to collect te fee of 15 pound (only cash!). Quiet place right in the hart of New forest. During the night the friendly deer are released and you can watch or even pet them if you want. Verry friendly people and there are clean toilets next to the field.

  • 5/5

Nur eine große Wiese ohne weitere Services. Dafür bekommt man Natur pur.

  • 5/5

Absolutely great spot! Intended to only stop over for 1 night but ending up staying for 2 as it was so nice! Guy that runs it is super friendly and it’s a perfect base for exploring the New Forest. Seeing the deer at night is brilliant! 2 pubs with nice food, recommend Queens Head though as the food was cheaper and a bit nicer. Also toilets 1 min walk away! Highly recommend!!!

  • 5/5

A fab park up, public toilets nice and close. Owners were really friendly and chatty. If no one is there when you arrive just park up and they will be along during the evening. Try to park along the fence line on the left hand side when you enter as this gives the deer more roaming space for the evening and they might even trot over and investigate if it’s quiet.

  • 4/5

Stayed for one night, the deer and wild ponies are lovely. However the water was not turned on so the taps didn't work. IMPORTANT: If you arrive and the gate in the parking lot behind the pub is closed, enter through the main house road on the opposite side of the field (turning is opposite the tea house).

  • 5/5

Stayed for a night when in Burley for the cider festival. Great site for £15 as it also covered the parking for both days at the festival. Super friendly, though unfortunately public toilets were locked, I assume just time of year but can’t complain.

  • 5/5

This is a fantastic place to stop great walking around the moors, toilets neer by.,theres a grocery shop post office 2 eating places and you are parked in a deer park so you may be sourounded by deer when you awaken all for £15

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. Very easy and welcoming. In the field behind the council car parks, so easy access to the clean toilets. £15 for 24 hours. access in and out of field anytime. Water on site. Amazing experience cooking dinner with deer around you. Easy walk to the pub! Very friendly and helpful people on site. Would reccomend!!

  • 5/5

This spot is fantastic! We had it to ourselves. We arrived about 6.30 and no one was in the shed so parked up near the deer! A very friendly man came to collect the £15 at about 8.30. Public loos close a short walk away and a pub. Definitely recommend!

  • 5/5

Lovely little place. Great for kids! The deer around the bus were a great surprise!

  • 3/5

This is a deer park no services public toilets near by but locked pub near by, deer come close to your vehicle in the evening £15 a night Dan calls for cash in the evening

  • 4/5

Stayed here for two nights with a couple of other vans and plenty of deer. Dan is very lovely and comes to collect £15/night in the morning. Public loos next to the pub too.

  • 4/5

Enter behind the Queens Head pub. Farmer is usually in a hut taking payment for deer safari rides. Lovely quiet field with deer and (un?)friendly geese. We were the only ones there in July. Farmer said cost was £15 but reduced to £10 when we pointed out that previous review had seemingly paid that a couple of days earlier. Nice village with plenty of walking and bike rides. Only facilities is a water tap in the field. Nice place.
