Small, well-maintained campsite with very friendly owners. Starting October 20, 2025, the washroom will be closed, and the campsite will become a campsite without restrooms over the winter until March 15, 2026. The fresh water supply will also be shut off, as both are unfortunately not yet winter-proof. All vehicles with their own restrooms that do not rely on restrooms are welcome.

At Wildwood Camping, you can expect a beautiful, mature tree landscape and a sustainably and modernly renovated campsite spanning 5 hectares. Our clubhouse, featuring a fireplace and shop, is open to you throughout the day. Showers, water, waste disposal, electricity, and Wi-Fi are included in the price. Our campsite is located in the Upper Harz, surrounded by numerous bathing lakes that are within walking distance. Here, you will find peace, relaxation, and inspiration. Newly developed in April 2024. An absolute dream. The six motorhome pitches (up to 7.40m) are part of the hotel complex. Check-in is at reception. The panoramic restaurant pampers body and soul in the morning and evening with a generous buffet, a varied lunch menu, or afternoon coffee with a delicious piece of cake and ice cream. On summer days, the terrace invites you to linger, while the "Bahnstübchen" bar offers the perfect ambiance for a nightcap. The Schalkerteich, a picturesque lake, is located nearby. Numerous hiking trails start directly at the campsite. Other features: At reception, you can find out where to use the small but excellent hotel swimming pool and sauna area. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer (€2.00) are available in the hotel. Toilets are located in the adjacent building. The playground is large and well-maintained. There is also a mini-golf course next door. All the staff are friendly and accommodating! All in all, a real hidden gem.
