There is a height limit in the main entrance; you need to keep going and find the *5* exit which is for +2.5m. The food is great (as well as some shopping!).

Facilement accessible (prendre l’entrée camionnettes/camions), idéal pour assister à un concert au Flanders Expo et dormir à côté! (entrée à 3min à pied)

Rundherum ist eine Riesenbaustelle. Wir wollten mit den Fahrrädern in die Innenstadt, das war sehr schwierig. Da Google Maps die Baustelle anscheinend nicht kennt, war es recht abenteuerlich, den Weg zu finden. Noch schwerer war der Rückweg. Als wir endlich zurück kamen, waren einige Gestalten anscheinend an unserem Womo interessiert. Wir haben dann lieber woanders übernachtet.

Nice big parking lot, near the E40 motorway (so some road noise). Easy access, even for my 11m long skoolie. There is a height restriction for the main entrance, but taller vehicles can still get in by following the 2.5m+ signs around the building. IKEA is closed on Sundays so plan that into your trip if you want an empty parking lot.

Easy access to the tram for the city

Goede uitvalbasis voor Gent te bezoeken, vlakbij Ikea wat een meerwaarde geeft. Helaas toch veel verkeer ‘s nachts en mensen die samenkomen op de parking van Ikea.

We tried to find T1 tram to Ghent but didn't find the platform? ended up walking into Ghent. 1 hour. To find tram platform cross IKEA car park towards holiday inn, and bear right, follow cobble path rear of holiday inn, head to the Flanders Expo building, you will find the tram stop for T1

à 40mn du centre historique par le T1. Hors ZFE. très pratique pour visiter Gent. Pour la nuit prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles....

Parking pratique pour une nuit et pour visiter la ville de Gent. Bruit de la route derrière... Et les places ne sont pas toutes de niveau. Bien car on peut se restaurer et utiliser les toilettes de Ikea. On se sent en sécurité.

Notte molto tranquilla, bisogna entrare seguendo le indicazioni del passaggio dei mezzi oltre i 2,5 metri. il parcheggio si trova nella parte posteriore dove c'è l'uscita del negozio.

3 nachten geslapen. Zeer rustig en zonder enig probleem. Tram T1 op 300m verwijderd brengt je in 20 minuten naar centrum Gent. Aanrader! Hou het hier rustig en laat geen vuil achter zodat we nog lang mogen genieten van deze gratis plaats. Bij aankomst volg leveranciers (bord met vrachtwagen) IKEA, anders krijg je te maken met een hoogtebeperking.

Free place and easy access to city via the T1 tram which is a few minutes walk away. IKEA is closed on a Sunday so it was very quiet.

Perfect to stay the night after some shopping and Swedish meatballs. Also accessible for taller campers, but you have to follow the signs for delivery and ride around the shop to enter from the other side. Not al places are level.

Great spot for heading into Ghent, spent 2 nights here 30 minute bike ride into town and about 1, 30 minutes walking. Had some drivers one night using the car park for burnouts and some people had pushed my mirrors but other then that Fine. Good to avoid emission zone

Juste parfait ! Passés deux nuits ici. avec Ikea familly, café gratuit et moules pour 11€ ainsi que d'autres menus. De plus toilettes accessibles de 10h à 20h et tram à seulement quelques minutes à pieds. malgré une soirée concert pas loin à 22h30.8) faisait calme, Parfait. Point négatif, saleté dans le fonds du parking

This place has to be given 5 stars! Just 4 minutes walk away is the Flanders Expo tram, where trams start their run to Ghent; there is always one waiting at the station when you arrive (head out of the IKEA carpark towards the Holiday Inn and follow the path to the right). 2.50€ per ride paid via card machine in the tram. Train to Brugge takes 30 minutes and costs 15€. Both cities can be covered.

Go past the height restriction entrance and follow the supply entrance signs and it's easy enough to get in. Really quiet at night. Go to the back of the car park and follow the little path, go right past the expo and you find the tram stop, which takes you to the heart of Ghent in 20 minutes (contactless payment on tram €2.50 per journey) perfect Hassel free way to explore Ghent.

Great free parking near Gent, need to use the different entrance for 'logistics' to avoid the height barrier. Easy access to tram into city. Free wifi and cheap food in ikea. Quiet enough at night.

Prima parkeerplaats bij Ikea. Hoogtebeperking bij de gewone ingang, maar wanneer je de “leverancier” borden volgt en om het gebouw heenrijdt kom je moeiteloos alsnog op de parkeerplaats uit. Overdag erg druk, savonds heerlijk rustig. Ongestoord geslapen. Gratis koffie en thee met de family card terwijl de kids even spelen bij Ikea, iedereen blij

Toiletten und Wifi kann man bis 20/21 vom Ikea nutzen. Ansonsten sehr ruhig und guter Anschluss mit den dem ÖPNV in die Innenstadt.

Keine Dienstleistungen, ansonsten aber super. Halbe Stunde bis zur Altstadt, man muss dazu nördlich an die Expo-Hallen vorbei, eine etwas zugewachsene Treppe hinunter, dann links und zum Fahrradweg. Ab 20 Uhr wird es hier sehr ruhig, man hört nur noch Autos von weiter weg. WLAN gibt es von der Expo, Essen, Trinken und Toilette gibt es im Ikea. Man findet sicherlich auch Sachen für das Auto :-)

We arrived after closing time, then the only entrance is a hight limited on 2,5 meter. Next to the road, but not too much noise.

Ongelimiteerde hoogte via aparte ingang (richting leveranciers)

Kein besonderer Service, aber gut beleuchtet, man kann in Ruhe und unauffällig übernachten und mit der Straßenbahn gegenüber direkt in die Stadt fahren. Kostenloses WLAN von der Expo funktioniert auch gut.

Attention, portiques á 2.2m rendant l'accès impossible aux camping-cars.
