Parking de la piscine, aucun panneau interdisant la nuit. Nous y avons passé la nuit précédente (pratique pour visiter l'université Edge Hill). Des toilettes pour personnes handicapées, très spacieuses et récemment construites (avec clé), s'y trouvent. C'est le parking de la piscine municipale, donc des douches y sont disponibles.
Pool car park, no signs saying no overnight. We've stayed here for the night before (handy for visiting Edge Hill University). A very extensive and newly built disability bathroom (key required) is there. It's the parking for the town swimming pool so showers are available there.
Parkplatz am Schwimmbad, keine Schilder, die Übernachtungen verbieten. Wir haben hier die Nacht zuvor verbracht (praktisch für den Besuch der Edge Hill University). Dort gibt es ein sehr geräumiges und neu gebautes Behindertentoilette (Schlüssel erforderlich). Es handelt sich um den Parkplatz des städtischen Schwimmbads, daher stehen dort Duschen zur Verfügung.
Aparcamiento de la piscina, sin señalización que prohíba la entrada. Nos alojamos aquí la noche anterior (práctico para visitar la Universidad Edge Hill). Hay un baño para personas con discapacidad muy amplio y recién construido (se requiere llave). Es el aparcamiento de la piscina municipal, así que hay duchas disponibles.

Pdono25/06/2025Stayed on a Monday, all quiet when the pool closes at 9pm but then boy racers arrive. The site slopes, so I moved to a flatter part which just happened to be where the racers wanted to skid. All quietened down by 11pm though and slept with no disturbance. The old toilet block is closed but Morrisons is next door. Aside from racers,this is a good parkup between a graveyard & park, & off main road.
cherylem816/05/2025Great stop over, free after 5:30pm, paid £2 until the following lunchtime. Quiet leisure Center Carpark, no barriers, 2 bins, disabled toilet requires key. Staff lock up 9pm. McDonald’s over road for morning coffee and toilet . Next to park for the dogs, ideal for University of visiting. Would stay again. LNT, wouldn’t wanna loose this place!
