Stayed here last night, in order to visit Christmas market on Saturday, really quiet night, but Saturday morning.. boy was it busy with cars trying to park, some heated moments, as they did not like that vans took over 2 spaces, yet we were parked in the long vehicles section. That aside, great place to park.
parked up midday, paid £3 for the 24hrs then caught the bus into bath which drops you in the city centre £2.50 for an adult return. We had a good sleep, there were a handful of other motorhomes, it was quiet, we parked away from the road. Didn’t use the toilets as we have our own but there was a block that cost 20p or a few free portaloos dotted around too. Would defiantly use again
Highly recommend! One of the best park n ride stays £3/nite is reasonable. £5.50 two adults return fares on the bus after 9:30am into the city. Scheduled every 15mins. 20p to use the toilets onsite and rubbish bins scattered over the park for use. Stayed two nights without issues and enjoyed the convenience of catching the bus onsite and sleeping peacefully n safely.
Um dos melhores park & ride que vimos em UK. Dormimos 2 noites muito bem e tranquilas neste estacionamento. O ônibus passa dentro do estacionamento e leva até o centro. Fomos a pé até a cidade porque gostamos de caminhar e ida é decida. Voltamos de ônibus. Super fácil e tranquilo. No estacionamento tem vários outros motorhomes.
Excelente local, grande, com muitas vagas. Dormimos muito bem. O onibus passa dentro do estacionamento p levar para a cidade.
Great place to stay, plenty of space, lots of other vans very quiet and peaceful
Guter & günstiger Schlafplatz. Es gibt eine große Wiese in der Nähe (Fußballfeld), auf dem man super mit seinem Hund spazieren kann. Viele Einheimische lassen hier auch ihre Hunde laufen. Ansonsten ein typischer Parkplatz, aber abends ruhig. Man hört allerdings die Straße, uns hat es nicht gestört. Die Anbindung mit dem Bus nach Bath ist super und kostet 5£ für zwei Personen.
Very quiet here. Had no issues. Stayed 3 nights total. I recommend. watch the return bus finishing time on a Sunday. finished at 5.30, we had to get an Uber back costing 15pound.

absolutely mint. free parking overnight as long as you make use of the park and ride. went into bath for the night and bus back to car park at 11pm. one of the best free camps out there !
Prima plek om te overnachten. Voor 2,50 pond of een buskaartje naar Bath 3,70 pond kun je hier 24 uur staan. Zelfs portable toilet aanwezig. Binnen 15 minuten met bus in centrum, fiets geen optie. steile afdaling naar centrum.
This is a great quiet park up, I paid online, but I don't think you even need to pay for parking because who is to know whether you used the bus or not? No one checks. Just be careful that you don't enter Bath's clean air zone and are fined.

Peaceful stop. A few long-term autocaravans here. Plenty of bins, nice and clean. 20p toiler, free water tap. bus every 15 mins in to Bath (parking free if using the bus, otherwise £2.50 per day - bargain). Nice big field for dogs too. Would stay again.

Toller P&R. Bus £3.70 ins Zentrum und zurück. Parken frei, wenn man den Bus nutzt. Viele freie Parkplätze ohne Höhenbegrenzung. Einige Wohnwagen stehen dort fest, wo Anwohner wohnen. Es war alles friedlich und wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht. Ebener asphaltierter Parkplatz. Toiletten sind vorhanden. Diese können mit Bargeld oder Karte mit 20p bezahlt werden. Ein Wasserhahn ist ebenfalls vorhanden.

Spontan gefunden und dort sicher und sauber geparkt. Der Busshuttle kostete für 2 Personen hin und rück 5,50£ und fährt alle 15 Minuten nach Bath City centre und braucht ca 10-15 Minuten. Wir haben eine Nacht dort geschlafen. Es war sehr angenehm ruhig, der Parkplatz ist nachts beleuchtet. Es waren weitere Wohnmobile und Campervans jährlicher Größe ebenfalls über Nacht da. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Très pratique pour visiter Bath. Si vous prenez le bus pour vous rendre en ville, vous ne payez pas le parking. Pour 2 personnes, aller retour, nous avons payé 5,50 £. C'est vraiment économique avec le stationnement 24 h. Le parking est très grand et on s'y sent en sécurité.

As others have said, a Park and ride with no height barrier. Pay toilet on site. You pay either £2.50 for 24 hours parking if NOT using the bus into the city OR £3.70 for a return bus into the city including free parking for 24 hours. Plenty of parking spaces including a dedicated area for longer vehicles. Noted a couple of caravans that might belong to the traveller community.

were slightly nervous when arrived as there were some dodgy looking caravans tucked in the corner. returned on one of the last buses at 8:30, not long after a man came banging out of one of the boarded up caravans and started banging on the other vans to get the f up. We were luckily the furthest away and had only just got back so very quickly left. Unfortunate likely with cheap overnight places

Car park is huge but just been told that overnight SLEEPING is NOT allowed and an enforcement officer will ask you to move on or issue a fine. Not sure whether to risk it or not now as nothing on signs that I can see.

Super spot, très grand terrain, très calme, il y a de l’eau, attention le dimanche il peut y avoir du monde car terrain de foot à côté.
Great park up. Once you drive in head all the way over towards the right of the park - lots of rooms and a few other vans. Surrounded by large fields so perfect stop over with dogs. £2 for the day if you don’t get the bus. Bus costs about £7.50 for 2 for return tickets in and out of Bath city centre. There’s a toilet on the side of the soccer club for 40p (takes card and coins). Just beware the toilet doesn’t change “lights” when it’s occupied, so people might think it’s free and open the door which doesn’t lock well - just have someone stand out front or call out. Bath is an amazing town and we had so much fun exploring for the day. The bus was just easy not stressing driving the van through the city and finding parking. A local youth soccer team trains on the Friday evening so a few cars and dog walkers until about 7pm. No racer boys or car meets - super peaceful!

Buen parking para visitar Bath. A partir de las 9,30am por pareja cuesta ida y vuelta 5,50£ niños menores de 16 años no pagan, sino serían 3,70 por persona. Si se coge el autobús no se paga el parking. Está todo explicado en la parada del autobús, no sé porqué la gente se lía tanto. Nosotros pasamos la noche en nuestra campervan y fue muy tranquila Hay aseos que cuestan 0,20£
Molt bon lloc per visitar Bath i Bristol, hem dormit aquí 2 nits, tranquil i ampli. Si agafes l'autobús no has de pagar pàrquing. Hi ha una aixeta a prop dels wc, on si tens una manguera llarga pots agafar aigua. Recomanable 100%.

Overnight campers allowed and it's very popular in the top few carparks.Perfectly level.Close to fields and very quiet.We slept very well for 3 nights.NO services, but 20p toilets available.Bins available. Great night sleep , But if you go to the loo go with 2 people as I ( a lady) was on the loo when a man came in and said it was open when I no I locked it .

Sehr großer P&R Parkplatz, auch für lange Wohnmobile mit Hecken unterteilt, also auch etwas Sichtschutz Nachts ruhig, tagsüber etwas Straßen- und Fluglärm (Bristol) Mit dem Bus für 2,70 £ in 20 min in Bath Zentrum, optimal Schöne Aussicht von den angrenzenden Fußballfeldern. Toilettenhaus war zu, dafür standen 2 Dixis da. Der Platz ist komplett von Kameras überwacht, vermutlich sicher.

Perfect park up to explore Bath. Parking free if you use the bus into town, however don't think it's checked as bus doesn't take rego or give you ticket at all, so dunno how they could know. Toilets functional for 20p, one on right steals money but doesn't open. Huge car park, far end used for campers, quite a few around for our stay. Also used for L drivers at night. All quiet otherwise.
Great park & ride spot to get into Bath. £2 per 24 hr period or free if you buy a bus ticket. Lots of space, parked up next to other vans, well lit and felt safe. All quiet overnight. Brilliant spot!
Stayed here 8/9th March 2024 and had a nice couple of nights. Toilets were out of order. **If you have a large motorhome PHGV diesel below euro 6 and want to enter the low emission zone then there is a charge of £100.00 unless you pre-register at least 14 days before. After pre-registration it's £9.00. Check web.
super handy place for Bath we stayed a Saturday night and it was lovely and quiet. a few other vans around. seemed to be free to stay if you paid for the bus into the center but no idea how they monitor that so paid £2 just to make sure possibly to walk but it's a real slog back up a 12% hill which goes on forever defo recommend
This is great, obviously ideal if you want to spend time in Bath. £2 for 24 hours as stated - the charging period is 0000 - 2359, so technically we should jump out of bed at midnight to purchase another ticket but I think it's unlikely anyone will enforce that. I didn't use the facilities but it's good that they're there. You might hear dogs in the morning! Definitely recommended though.

Good park up, toilets with outdoor tap for water refills. we spent one night here travelling into Bath for the day, utilising the park and ride which leaves every 15 mins and drops you into the centre of Bath. Will deffinetly use it again if in the area.

Ok, it's only a P R car park, but it's very cheap and very quiet at night. Just about managed to squeeze on a 10.5m rig at the far end in the long vehicle parking bays. I came here mainly for water. Probably need a 15m hose to reach, otherwise decant with bottles. Xmas market was on, so car park got super full, make sure nobody boxes you in. Free bus to centre of Bath!

Very quiet overnight stop. At time of writing you pay a nominal £2 fee for 24hrs parking. Lots of other vans aswell so felt very safe. Highly recommended for visit to Bath.

Wat een topplek om Bath te bezoeken. Wij kwamen laat inde middag aan. Als we met de bus gingen hoefden we parkeren niet te betalen. Met 2 personen ben je een groep en betaal je idd £5,40. Elk kwartier gaat de bus heen en weer. We hebben zelfs waterkraan gebruikt om gieter met water te vullen. We hebben 2 nachten gestaan. Je staat er nooit alleen op het hele grote terrein.

Bus comes & goes very often & a short trip down into the centre of Bath. No need to pay for parking the days you use the bus. Would definitely use again!
Een perfecte plek om Bath te bezoeken. Vanaf de parkeerplaats vertrekt de bus en je bent in 15min in het centrum van Bath. Wij betaalden £5,40 voor twee volwassenen plus een 5 jarig kind (gratis). Veel prullenbakken aanwezig, water en eventueel voor het toiletblok een put voor grijs water mits je het netjes houdt. We stonden hier 2 nachten en zelfs op vrijdagavond heel rustig.

So convenient for Bath, huge level car park, cost of the bus fare in to Bath the day I arrived for free parking that day & £2 up to midnight the following day. Water tap & toilets, phone signal isn't the best, awesome views of Bath if you walk across the field behind the hedge.
Brilliant place to stop overnight. We did it last week and plenty places. It charges £2 from midnight if not using bus on the day.
To visit Bath in a Motor home this is an excellent place to park. No height restrictions, free parking if you use the bus into town which we did. £7.20 return. For two adults and a free dog. Toilets here also but we didn’t use them and large fields to let the dogs off. Clean car park and very quiet. Definitely use again. Out of the emission zone also. Wish every city was the same.

Stayed here april 29th 2023, excellent location toilets and water point. There is a mi permit scheme for parking if you dont get bus which is £2 from midnight to 2359. Large area to walk dogs or on your own.

Very large flight site, with an area for long vehicles. Overnight parking allowed. There is an excellent water tap on the front of the toilet block, with screw thread. Best way to visit Bath in a campervan or moho is via park & ride, parking is then free and the city is very tight for large vehicles. Will use again.
We arrived 10am and took bus to Bath. Watch out for bus return hours- on Sunday and BH last bus is at 6pm! We had to take taxi back from Bath centre (12£ so not too bad). In week days I think last bus back is 8.30 pm. Another camper was parked overnight. Not the prettiest place but flat, with toilets (20p) and plenty of space. After long day visiting it is a very convenient place.
A fantastic park and ride car park with loads of room. Even plenty of parking for longer vehicles. Free to stay so long as you use the bus service into Bath. Very quiet overnight. Seems to be frequented by learner drivers going round and round but other than that can’t fault this park-up. Just wish more towns/cities would do same. We will definitely use this site again.
Un excellent endroit pour passer la nuit et aller visiter Bath en bus. Le parking ne coûte rien et le bus pour visiter Bath coûte à ce jour 3£20 aller-retour. Le parking est très grand et plat. Si vous venez le dimanche vous aurez l’ambiance des matchs qui se jouent dans les divers terrains qui jouxtent le parking et il y aura plus de monde. Nous y avons passé deux nuits sans problème.
Arrived Sat 5th Feb lunchtime. Used our free OAP buss pass to visit Bath on the Park and Ride which is free if you use the Park and Ride. On our return stayed the night and left Sun morning. Very quiet and peaceful, car park lights stayed on all night so felt quite safe. 20p toilets. Flat and level.
Very peaceful night and very flat. Had clean toilets on-site which were 20p entry and plenty of bins. We caught the return bus into city centre and it all worked very well. Would of given 5 stars but still not sure about payment as sign suggests if you use the bud then parking is free but how do they know what vehicle is yours and if you’ve used the bus?? Fine could be pending but might be fine!
Stayed here last night and staying again tonight. Not seen any signs re payment. I got the bus into town using seniors pass, so I don't know how they can enforce payment. Toilets are 20p to use. If you have a long enough hose and the fittings to go on a thread less tap there's tap water outside the toilets.

Worth noting that the website states from 1st November people parking at Bath Park & Ride sites without using the bus will incur a charge of £1 for 3hrs and £2 for 24hrs payable online via MiPermit.

Parking is allowed overnight but at your own risk. Nothing on carpark signs but see website. Stayed two nights and had a lovely couple of days in Bath. Bus accepts Age Concession pass so even better. parked at far end and very quiet. No height barriers, I believe P&R south of city has barrier. Outside Clean Air Zone but check your access from east & south doesn't take you into zone
