The Isola Bella Camper Campsite is located just outside the town of Rodi Garganico, a village with ancient maritime traditions perched on a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It is just a few meters from Lido del Sole, a tourist area within the town of Rodi Garganico, and enjoys a prime location in the heart of an area of great natural importance. All amenities, including restaurants, pizzerias, and a market, are within a few meters. Rodi Garganico's central location with respect to the Gargano Peninsula makes it a popular destination for numerous wonderful excursions exploring nature, art, and religion. The Tremiti Islands, offering excursions to the archipelago and visits to enchanting sea caves, can be easily reached thanks to the motorboat service departing from the new Marina di Rodi Garganico tourist port, equipped with state-of-the-art recreational facilities. The Tremiti archipelago, reflected in emerald-clear waters, is one of Puglia's most famous and attractive tourist destinations, thanks to its fabulous natural scenery of beaches and coves, picturesque caves, and sea stacks. This small archipelago is made up of the major islands: San Domino, San Nicola, and Capraia. One of the most distinctive features of the Gargano is its coastline. The most striking sight is the numerous beautiful caves, carved out over millennia by the sea and wind. Special boats depart daily from the Marina di Rodi Garganico and travel along the entire stretch of coast between Rodi, Peschici, and Vieste. Numerous excursions depart from Rodi to explore the Gargano National Park and the shores of the Umbra Forest lake. A pristine place and the ideal destination for anyone who loves nature, the forest is equipped to welcome tourists thanks to a network of walking trails, bike paths, picnic areas equipped with wooden tables and benches, a café, a church, and a museum. The landscape, with its vibrant colors, is truly magical, and its woods amaze with the variety and beauty of the centuries-old trees that extend across thousands of hectares. Green area for motorhomes and cars located in the Termoli (CB) car park of the Marina di San Pietro tourist port. Equipped with water, electricity and toilets with showers. The centre of Termoli is 300 metres away, while the embarkation point for the Tremiti Islands is 500 metres away. Anyone with a trailer and dinghy can launch it using our slipway, moor it and refuel. JANUARY 2026 OPEN REGULARLY Camper parking area directly on the sea, with private access to the wonderful public pebble beach. Daily hammock rental available. The grounds are spacious and shaded by lush olive trees; drinking water and 6-Ah electrical hookups are available throughout the area. Bathrooms have coin-operated hot and cold showers. Useful information: During the summer months, a bar is available on the splendid terrace overlooking the sea. The center of Mattinata is approximately 2.5 km away and can be reached on foot, by bicycle, or by the municipal shuttle service, which operates from June to September and stops near the property (tickets can be purchased on board). A short walk from the property, you can embark on a splendid panoramic hiking trail lasting approximately 40 minutes to the summit of Monte Saraceno, home to a Daunian necropolis where, during the spring, you can admire some of the many species of wild orchids found in the Daunian territory. Don't miss the boat excursion, departing from the port, to visit the Gargano sea caves, the coves, and the famous Faraglioni rocks of Baia delle Zagare. Free transfers are provided by tour operators. Our camper area is located in the Calenella Plain, 20 meters from the sea, 3 km from Peschici, and 1 km from the bus station. It offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Our area is nestled in the natural setting of the Mediterranean scrub, surrounded by greenery and immersed in total tranquility. The camper area features grassy surfaces, free pitches, nighttime lighting, a fenced perimeter, and video surveillance. Only small and friendly dogs are allowed.
