From the host: "If you want to taste our wines and maybe pair Prosciutto di Parma or Parmigiano Reggiano, please arrive before 18:30: winery closes at 19:00 (Saturday at 17:00. Sunday closed)." It is better to write to the host in advance or call him. Idyllic little farm with many different animals (ponies, dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, bees, insects of all kinds...) and a very nice host who speaks German and Englisch, has lots of good tips for the area and his mom, who likes to speak in Italian and bring apricots or blackberries. There are various small specialties to buy, such as eggs, honey, jam, wine, vinegar and olive oil. A trip to Mantua is recommended and it is half an hour from Lake Garda or Verona.You park in the field, little shade for the summer, sometimes music coming from the restaurant on the river.
