Nestled in the heart of the Southern Alps, at the foot of the mountains and on the banks of the largest artificial lake in Europe, the Huttopia Campsite at Serre-Ponçon Lake spans some 19 hectares at this waterside natural setting. Nestled in the magnificent setting of the classified Jarjatte valley south of the Alps, between the Vercors and Dévoluy mountains, the Champ la Chèvre 3* campsite is a true oasis of peace and tranquility between Gap, Grenoble and Diois. All campsite locations benefit from superb views of the mountains. A spectacle that we never tire of, especially when the setting sun lights up the cliffs. Although small (70 pitches dedicated to campers and 34 rentals), this campsite has an indoor heated swimming pool which allows swimming in all seasons (from May to September) as well as a pleasant bar – restaurant (open to all) with an atmospheric friendly with panoramic terrace. Cécile offers pizza, daily specials and homemade desserts.

Away from the hustle and bustle, the campsite is located a stone's throw from Réotier and Guillestre, at an altitude of 900 meters, on the outskirts of the Ecrins National Park and bordering the Queyras Regional Natural Park, opposite the UNESCO-listed Vauban fortified town of Mont-Dauphin. The campsite covers 4 hectares of Mediterranean pine forest and sunny meadows along the banks of the Durance River. The entire campsite layout has been designed to respect the harmony of the magnificent surrounding landscape. It includes 80 large, shaded, terraced pitches. This is a small, quiet family campsite where you can enjoy the sound of birdsong, the lapping of the river, and the deliciously pure water of the Fontaine des Rois.
