(4600) Thermal Camping Velingrad
Thermal Camping Velingrad was built and put into operation in 2019. It has 36 places for campers, caravans or tents and offers its guests its own thermal center.
It is located in the spa capital of Bulgaria - Velingrad, on the way to the town of Yundola, in the part of the city with the healthiest and most favorable climate - right next to the Pulmonary Hospital "St. Petka Bulgarska". Its location is extremely convenient for walking and cycling to the city center along an internal alley, and the surroundings are forest vegetation that creates the feeling of solitude and silence in nature.
Accommodations follow the European model, being partly on grass and partly gravelled and rammed, so as not to get bogged down and waterlogged in rainy weather and snow. Each place has electricity and water supply. The sanitary units are conveniently close to the camping sites from both areas of the campsite.
The campsite's own thermal center offers a classic and salt sauna, a steam bath, a cold shock pool, a relaxation room, showers, changing rooms and a massage room. Three outdoor - children's, large for swimming and warm jacuzzi and one indoor pool, fed with mineral water from a captured and natural spring.
On days of bad weather, guests can benefit from a large tavern with a fully equipped kitchen, where they can prepare their own meals and gather with friends. Coziness is guaranteed by a large Rhodope fireplace and a perfect view of the mountains through the French windows.
There is an outdoor children's corner for the youngest guests. On the lower level of the building there is a game room with table tennis, seesaws, table tennis, air hockey, table football, board games and other activities for young and old.
