Good stopover. We’ve stayed a few times now with no issues. £5 donation per night for campers and further donation for use of showers. However, they don’t seem to know what their policies are. The lady who welcomed us was lovely, then the guy who took over from her insisted we payed £4 per shower. It’s a charity, so I don’t mind donating to use facilities but that seemed a bit steep.

we hebben er rustig gestaan goed geslapen. Alleen 's morgens worden de kinderen met bussen naar school gebracht hou daar rekening mee dat je niet op die plekken gaat staan

  • 4/5

Spent just the one night with no issues encountered. Donated money at swimming pool reception.

  • 5/5

Stayed here two nights, last night & night before. This is my second stay here and it was just as peaceful and felt really safe as a solo female.

  • 5/5

Just here for one night, but an ideal location to stop over. Arrived late in the morning, the car was full but parked on the road alongside the building. The staff at reception were so helpful and came outside to assist and give guidance where to park. Used the small cafe area for a coffee and tray bake (all cakes are home baked) prices very reasonable.

  • 5/5

£5 donation for an overnight stay, we paid inside the pool as it was open when we arrived at 12 noon Saturday. Only one motorhome there when we arrived but 6 stayed overnight. Free toilets inside the pool when it's open. £4 for showers. Water available around the back. Car park looks deceptively flat but we needed ramps. Short walk into Settle, two fish and chip shops, lots of pubs and cafes.

  • 5/5

we have stayed here a few times , when in this area , its so nice to have welcoming staff , you can use there showers £4.00 , and there is a water tap at the back of the swimming pool which yiu can use too . But please put something in the honesty box . which is at the entrance of the pool or you can pat on card. RockingVankings.

fabulous park up. its a charity run swimming pool. chatted to lady at reception, they are more than welcoming and appreciate the extra income. £5 suggested per night. £4 for showers and £4 to top up with water.

  • 5/5

brilliant park up and a brilliant idea by the community to raise funds for the charity run swimming pool parked out 7.5m motorhome without any problems paid a donation of a fiver to the reception staff who where most grateful you can use the toilets when the pool is open and the small cafe all for a worthy cause nice walk along the river into town

  • 5/5

To be clear, the £5 donation for overnight parking does not include access to the showers, which is an additional £4.

  • 5/5

Great place to stop over. Really friendly staff in the pool. Great showers / Toilets and a cafe. Also they were more than happy to let us use their outdoor tap to fill our water up! £5 donation per night for all that. We stayed Friday / Saturday night, 8 other vans and very peaceful. busy with swimmers cars during the day. 5 minutes into the lovely town.

  • 5/5

we stayed 6/9/25 Saturday night. Very peaceful, we walked into settle (a very short walk), wonderful town with restaurants, shops and takeaways. There is an honestly box for £5, we paid the lad on reception in the morning, very friendly. We only used the toilets, apparently showers are available.

  • 5/5

Public toilets were good and clean. Two unisex toilets with sink to wash hands. Also have a small cafe if you’re want a tea or coffee. Great place to stop over.

  • 3/5

We stayed on a Sunday night very busy with buses and taxis up until 2am we left after this because we had no rest .places on the left side are not suitable for vans over 6m. We did notice a camper parking beside the buses on the right . please be respectful to the locals one coach left because there was no space. Would not stay again.

  • 5/5

Amazing park-up, with kind and helpful staff at the pool. £5/night honesty box donation, which goes towards keeping the community pool open (its a charity, they also have a fundraising charity shop in town). Toilets and water available. Showers are clean with private cubicles, small and clean pool. Lane swimming £6 concession price. Town is lovely too! Mateos Italian is a must!

  • 5/5

Plenty of room for motorhomes and campers and pretty quiet. £4 at the swimming pool for a shower

  • 5/5

Great park up. stayed here bank Holiday weekend for 1 night and there was only 1 other van there. peaceful nights sleep, heard nothing all night. Would definitely use again if in area

  • 5/5

Perfect park-up: peaceful nights sleep; toilets open from 7; cheap fuel nearby; swimming pool + café; 5 minutes stroll from settle. For the walkers only a 10 minutes drive from Clapham to start the walk for Ingleborough. You can even spot Pen-y-ghent from the road outside the car park. Although there is no charge, please leave a tip in the honesty box!

  • 5/5

Great place to stay, very quiet, not too far from town. Monday to Friday term time: I would advise not parking on the left hand side when you enter as that’s where the school coaches park in the morning. No signs saying not too but coach drivers, who were very polite, said at times there can be lots of vans which leads them to getting annoyed and as you all know we don’t want to annoy anyone.

  • 5/5

We stayed here last year , and we just had 2 nights here it is a fantastic park up the staff are brilliant and it's an honesty box , which please if you use the park up give something. We love Settle it's a beautiful place .

On arrival to Settle I decided to move from the rugby carpark to here and I did not regret it honestly box, more parking available and only a short walk into town

  • 5/5

Brilliant park up with loads of walks straight from the van. Settle is a lovely town with plenty of cafes, pubs, shops, and places to eat. Honesty box on the swimming pool building. Use it and respect it and hopefully we get more park ups like this!

  • 5/5

Perfect little spot from which to explore this area of the Yorkshire Dales. Right next to the Ribble Way footpath. Short walk into Settle with plentiful amenities including nice fish & chip place. Mecca for mtn biking. Honesty box - I donated £10 per night. Leisure centre lovely & warm, open 7am, friendly staff. What's not to love ❤️

  • 4/5

Nothing particularly scenic about this park up but free, flat and quiet overnight. It’s used for school buses so there’s some early morning and 3pm bus activity. Great location though being 10 minutes into the lovely market town of Settle. The track up to Castleberg Crag is closed though at the moment. Donations to the swimming pool via honesty box next to entrance.

  • 5/5

Arrived here just after 5pm on Friday 9th August and saw just 2 campers so wasn't sure. Within an hour a few more arrived so felt really safe, the charity funded swimming pool let me use the wc before they closed they had a donation box outside to support them. Few more campers showed up but really quiet spot and I slept very well. Would recommend it for sure on my experience. Car Camper.

  • 5/5

This is actually a great place to stop over yes it is a little bit busy during the day but really peaceful at night the town is amazing so many secondhand tool shops and vintage clothing shops pubs and restaurants it’s my first time here and really like the place don’t hesitate to come and have a look

  • 5/5

glad to find this spot. Quiter than the more popular spot in settle itself.

  • 5/5

Great spot. 2 minutes from the river and 10 minutes walk into Settle.

  • 5/5

Good quiet spot, space for 7 or 8 vans. Flat but no toilets or bins. We stayed at a weekend but imagine could get busy on a weekday morning as near a school.

  • 4/5

A good spot which is very close to the town centre, but be aware that during school term this gets very busy with coaches bringing children to school at 8am and parking there for the day. it is County Council owned and it may be that restrictions will be placed at some point in the future. One to watch.

  • 5/5

Nice quiet spot next to pool. No amenities

  • 5/5

Free parking but try to make a donation to the pool as they are always trying to raise funds.
