Il s'agit du parking Lidl. Des panneaux indiquent que le temps de stationnement est limité à 1h30. On vous demande simplement d'utiliser la dernière rangée de stationnement, vue depuis le magasin.
Il y avait deux autres mobil-homes garés à côté de nous. Mis à part le bruit supportable de la voie ferrée et de la route à côté, l'escale était agréable.
Il y a des toilettes gratuites dans le supermarché voisin et dans le Glen Nevis Center en face.
This is the Lidl car park. There are signs there limiting parking time to 1.5 hours. You are simply asked to use the last parking row - as seen from the store.
There were two other mobile homes parked next to us. Apart from the tolerable noise from the railway line and the road next door, the stopover was nice.
There are free toilets in the neighboring supermarket and in the Glen Nevis Center opposite.
Dies ist der Lidl-Parkplatz. Dort gibt es Schilder, die die Parkzeit auf 1,5 Stunden begrenzen. Man wird einfach gebeten, die letzte Parkreihe – vom Laden aus gesehen – zu benutzen.
Neben uns parkten noch zwei weitere Wohnmobile. Abgesehen vom erträglichen Lärm der Bahnstrecke und der Straße nebenan war der Zwischenstopp nett.
Kostenlose Toiletten gibt es im benachbarten Supermarkt und im gegenüberliegenden Glen Nevis Center.
Este es el aparcamiento de Lidl. Hay carteles que limitan el tiempo de estacionamiento a 1,5 horas. Simplemente te piden que utilices la última fila de estacionamiento, como se ve desde la tienda.
Había otras dos casas móviles aparcadas junto a nosotros. Aparte del ruido tolerable de la vía del tren y la carretera de al lado, la parada fue agradable.
Hay baños gratuitos en el supermercado vecino y en el Glen Nevis Center de enfrente.

Pernottato una notte in questo ampio parcheggio della Lidl. Attorno ci sono altri parcheggi ma con divieto di pernottamento, quindi abbiamo deciso (guardandoci intorno e vedendo altri camper) sostare qui. Abbiamo passato una notte tranquilla. Se non ci sono alternative, questo è un buon posto
Abbiamo sostato il 6 agosto 2025,chiedendo al direttore della LIDL, a differenza di altri siamo stati tranquilli in un angolo distanti dalla strada, si senti il treno o camion alla mattina presto dalle 6/7 in poi.Adistanza di 15 gg ci siamo ritornati.Molti altri camper in sosta.
siamo arrivati in tarda serata quando ormai il parcheggio era quasi vuoto dalle macchine ed eravamo solo noi con il camper e un paio di van. Per tutta la notte è stato un susseguirsi di persone a piedi che parlavano ad alta voce passandoci accanto,nonostante fossimo distanti dal marciapiede, appositamente per disturbare chi dormisse all' interno dei camper. Esperienza non positiva
personal, i wouldn't stay here if you have kids. we stayed on a Friday night when the car park was filled with campers by 6 pm, so get here early. it is not a quiet save car park,during the night we could here at local residents fighting, drunk and so aggressive. I'm surprised no ones vans got damaged.
Wij stonden hier 1 nacht en dat was prima. Erg stil in de avond en we stonden hier met heel veel andere campers. Ook had je er gewoon internet.
Aparcamiento del Lidl con un Morrison a unos metros que abre de 7 a 22 horas y tiene baños. Sensación de seguridad porque hay muchas autocaravanas y Campers que pernoctan en el aparcamiento. Súper!
Tökéletes eltölteni egy estét, több lakóautó társaságban.
Parking assez banal mais qui fait l’affaire. Pas de toilettes sauf au Lidl ou au Macdo si vous consommez. Nous voulions aller au spot plus reclus mais avons croisé un homme seul qui rôdait et qui s’est caché le visage. Nous avons vite fait demi-tour et le parking nous semblait plus rassurant.
Een betaalde parkeerplaats vlakbij de Lidl. Geen service en veel vrachtwagens die ook hier parkeren voor de nacht en in alle vroegte weer vertrekken. Dus was niet alles.
wir sind jetzt zwar nicht über Nacht stehen geblieben, das haben aber einige andere gemacht. man kann auch gut tagsüber hier stehen bleiben da ja gleich der Bahnhof in der Nähe ist und das stadtzentrum. und perfekterweise kauft man fix mal beim Lidl ein. aber aufpassen direkt daneben ist ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz also wirklich direkt beim Lidl reinfahren
Lugar tranquilo y seguro para pasar la noche. Puedes dormir sin pagar nada, aunque no está de más hacer alguna compra en el establecimiento Lidl, para contribuir.
Très vite rempli en fin de matinée par les camping-cars mais aussi les voitures qui peuvent profiter de ce parking gratuit pour aller visiter la ville juste à côté. il faut se garer tout au fond avec le porte à faux sur la pelouse pour n'occuper qu'une place (voir ma photo) et encore moins en long sur le côté gauche comme un van qui a pris 4 places et en plus, a laissé une grande poche poubelle
Great park up with 8 or so camper vans and motorhomes. Quiet car park about 10 mins walk away from town. Fort William train station has hot showers that you can use for £5.
Bij het boodschappen doen gevraagd of we mochten blijven slapen en dat was geen probleem. Rustige nacht gehad en 's ochtends een lekker ontbijtje gehaald. Op loopafstand van het centrum.
Lots of people camping over, asked they said it’s not allowed as such from Lidl but they are happy to allow as a store when buying something
Left my van here overnight while I stayed at a mates after asking the Lidl staff if I could park here. Had a note on the windshield in the morning that said “... next time we will get your tyres”. Probably just some drunk shouting at an empty van, but needless to say I will never park here overnight again.
Great place to stay,did out shopping at Lidl and they said stop there all night no problem , yes was a bit of noise from trains but not all night, great location
A very convenient, budget-friendly stopover. Clean, level parking. Easy access to town center and outdoor activities.
Train is not a problem at all and we stayed nearly next to it! The semis are loud but leave around 7-8am..still a perfect spot, leveled, good 5G 2 bar signal, felt safe, somewhat quiet. Nevis center bathrooms open 12pm or there’s the stores. Park in back row or one that lines the other side with train.
Super de la part de Lidl. Parqué au fond de la place, on a passé une bonne nuit calme. Le train pas de problème en plus le matin on a eu la chance de voir partir de train vapeur
Gratis plek om te overnachten naast een treinstation op de parkeerplaats van de Lidl. Voor de zekerheid even gevraagd aan een medewerker van de Lidl of het mocht. Geen enkel probleem. Fijn dat het kan!
Lieu correct pour 1 nuit. Il y avait la fête foraine, mais à 21h, tout était terminé . Le magasin ferme à 22h, mais très peu de monde en fin de soirée. Nuit calme, pas entendu le train.
on y a passé 2 nuits pour faire le voyage à bord du Jacobite train. Merci à Lidl de nous accepter. on a ,bien évidemment, fait nos courses ici pour les remercier.
There were quite a few camper vans over night, but it really is the best option around. There's toilets in the bowling centre and in Morrison's next door that are open until late and it is free. We went for a bowling session which was fun and well priced.

There's limited overnight parking in this area so thank you lidl for putting up with us - would recommend asking in store before hand or arriving super late/leaving early. Don't block the billboard from the cleaners!
Bought a few things in store for dinner and asked one of the staff if it’s okay to park for the night and she said yes no problem, quite busy and some noise but gets quiet after 9pm. BONUS fresh pastries for breakfast the next morning

It's in lidl carpark. Eventhough there are signs indicating maximum stay 1.5h we haven't received any complaint as long as you park on the opposte side of the entrance and you buy something at the store. Thumbs up for LIDL providing the only "free" spot in the city ceneter of fort williams
