We are a family-run animal sanctuary located approximately 3 km from the Smarje-Sap/Skofljica motorway exit.
Check-in: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM! We close at 8:00 PM!
Check-out: until 3:00 PM.
Please contact us before your arrival to ensure availability. We will then send you a text message to confirm your reservation.
Without confirmation, we cannot reserve a space for you!

Below is a brief route to reach us. Use Google Maps for navigation and go via Smarje-Sap or Skofljica. Avoid Brezje and Reber! Apple Maps is very unreliable!
Our sanctuary is located on a hill. The winding, narrow road is easily accessible, even with a long trailer or a large campervan (under 9 m), and is in excellent condition. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with breathtaking views of the valley. We would be delighted to welcome you to our parking area overlooking the pastures, or offer you a sunny spot with views of the valley and mountains, or a shaded spot in the forest, right next to our barn.
We can accommodate approximately 12 vehicles.
Our non-profit organization gladly accepts donations to support all our rescued animals. We recommend a donation of at least €30 per vehicle per night.
We offer a guided tour of the sanctuary in English every day around 9:30 am, from May 15th to the end of September, except Sundays or in case of bad weather.
Out of respect for the animals rescued from the slaughterhouse, we ask that you refrain from preparing or consuming meat, poultry, or fish during your stay. We also ask that you refrain from excessive alcohol consumption, hard drugs, and any noisy parties.
Access to hot showers, toilets, water, electricity, and a sink for washing dishes is available at all times.
A laundry service is available upon request for €5 per load, payable immediately.
We offer our guests a small swimming pool, a playground, and a woodland play area.
You are welcome to have a campfire using wood found in the forest or your own.
Your dog must be kept on a leash at all times and is not allowed on the property, except in the parking area.
Smokers, please dispose of your cigarette butts in an ashtray. Do not throw them on the ground!
It is not possible to empty wastewater/greywater on site. You will find waste disposal stations and park-and-ride facilities in the Ljubljana area.
There's a lake for swimming and another playground approximately every 2 km.
DIRECTIONS: Take the Skofljica/Smarje-Sap motorway exit. At the first roundabout, continue straight ahead, then at the second roundabout, take the third exit (on the left). After the bridge, turn right. At the next intersection, turn left. Then follow the road for approximately 2 km. In the village of Plese, turn right at the stone wall topped with a cross. 400 m further on, you will arrive at our large barn.
