Aire de repos typique le long de l'autoroute, mais aussi un lieu important dans l'histoire de l'Allemagne. C'était autrefois le poste frontière pour entrer en RDA lors d'un voyage par voie terrestre vers Berlin-Ouest. Tous les bâtiments, tours de guet, etc. sont toujours là et vous pouvez les visiter. Il y a aussi un petit musée. Nous avons bien dormi. Robinet d'eau potable à 15 m à gauche de l'entrée de la station-service !
Typical rest area along the highway, but an important place in the history of Germany as well. This used to be the border post for crossing into the DDR when travelling overland to West Berlin. All buildings, watch towers, etc are still there and you can visit them. There’s small museum as well. We had a good night sleep. Drinking water tap 15m left from gas station entrance!
Typischer Rastplatz an der Autobahn, aber auch ein wichtiger Ort in der deutschen Geschichte. Dies war früher der Grenzposten für die Überquerung der Grenze in die DDR, wenn man über Land nach Westberlin reiste. Alle Gebäude, Wachtürme usw. sind noch vorhanden und können besichtigt werden. Es gibt auch ein kleines Museum. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Trinkwasserhahn 15 m links vom Tankstelleneingang!
