Welcome to Matland Fjordcamp.
In our farm Matland Gård by the Ådland Fjord we are now offering motor homes to stay at our beautiful place. You are so close to the water that you can step right into it. The view is spectacular and it is very peaceful. In the mornings you can hear the birds and probably also the sheep are awake. You can do activities or just relax at our marina. We have a small natural beach where you can take a swim or just look after crabs and other sea creatures. On the marina we also have a diving tower to jump off.
GOING TO BERGEN ?
If you camp at our place , you can book a boat trip with us from Matland to Os in the morning. From Os you take the bus directly to Bergen. You can take a bus back later and we pick you up again with our boat. Then you don't have to go to Bergen with your car. The boat trip takes about 30 min and the bus takes about 30 min.From 600 NOK for adults and 300 NOK for children 12-18 years for the boat trip ( min 2 persons).
You can rent boats, kayaks, SUP boards and do water sports. A small rowing boats for the children is for free for them to use. We also have a small yacht for Fjord Adventures- guided tours- to Austevoll, Salmon Eye, Hardanger fjords or just for going fishing in open sea in our beautiful fjords. If you like to fish you can also do it right outside your motor home or in our river. We have a table where you can gut the fish.
If you like to hike in the mountains there are many trails pretty close to our place and you can walk from your motor home.
In our farm you can meet some animals if you want to. We have sheep, chickens, two horses, two rabbits, dogs and cats. You can buy and pick fresh eggs in the mornings.
We only have 10 available spots for motor homes/ caravan so you need to order in advance by calling or sending text message.
In our boathouse we have a stage where we sometimes we put on the music and let your children be stars for a evening.
If we have larger arrangements in our boathouse there will only be a few spots available.
