Arrived early hours, no spaces left. That wasn’t the issue…it’s not really in a country park but a parking lay-by on a busy through road in a residential estate which is surrounded by retail

Parking gratuit, à 15 minutes à pied de la gare de Penrith. Espace pour environ 7 véhicules, sans surlongueur. Aucune indication d'une interdiction de stationnement ou d'une interdiction de passer la nuit. Grand parc idéal pour promener les chiens. L’autoroute est à portée de voix.
Wetheriggs Country Park
Free car park, 15 minutes walk from Penrith Station. Space for around 7 vehicles, no over-length. No signs prohibiting parking or overnight stays. Large park ideal for walking dogs. The motorway is within earshot
